Changing input to Insignia TV

We have an Insignia TV and when first turning it on used the Setup Wizard to set the input for cable TV. We no longer have the cable and want to reset the TV for use with an indoor rabbit-ears type antenna input but cannot return to the Setup Wizard to make the change. Does anybody know how to get back to the Setup Wizard or make changes without the Wizard? Thanks.

Is there a Menu or Setup button on the remote or side of the TV?

  • How to change input with insignia

Can anyone help me with changing the input on my Insignia tv with my Verizon remote? I am using the Phillips remote. Thanks for any help you can offer.

If your remote is already programmed to your TV, its done in one of two ways.
    1) if your remote has 4 buttons across the top: Press TV, release, then the A/V (input) button at the bottom left
    2) if your remote has 2 buttons across the top: Press and release the A/V (tv input) button at the bottom left
If this does not work, it means your remote is likely not programmed to your television. Please visit http://bit.ly/pNIM87 to assist you in the programming.

You could attempt to install a firmware update:

If that doesn't work properly or doesn't it fix it, it could require servicing.

I had the same problem but found the solutaion by chance.
    1. On the lowest row of keys push the second one on the left (arrow upward). It is "Shift" if I am not mistaken.
    2. Immidiately after press nearest key to the right "Sym" (not simulteneously)
Window with languages should pop up.
Those who have had experience with E-71 know, that this function is available when you have opened a new sms or e-mail. But it does not work in an ordinary waiting mode.

  • Plasma TV HP PL4260N - Need help! TV scrolling through menus and changing input by itself.

Please help! My TV is possessed!! It changes input and the menus pop up and it continuously scrolls through all the options repeatedly. Turning it off stops it but it happens again within minutes. I called tech support and was told they do not support this product and to use the internet tech support, but that redirects me to the phone number and they still do not help. I just want my TV to behave!

So I have a similar TV, 42" plasma, and on startup I was getting the diagnostic screen which was indicative of buttons on the side keypad being depressed. I was able to pull the cable from the side keypad out of the connector and the problem went away. Now the TV works fine but I must do everything from the remote as I disabled the TV keypad.
These posts read as if there a similar type problem, depressed keys causing screens and/or menus to change.
Please remember these TVs are no longer supported and parts are not available.

  • Input button won't change input

If your TV requires you to use the arrows to select inputs then the Comcast X1 remotes are not going to work changing inputs on your TV. The Comcast remotes only change inputs on TVs that can "cycle" the inputs every time you press the input button.

When I press the input button on the XR5 remote I see the options to change the input but when I press the arrow buttons nothing happens. If I hit input again it takes the box off. What am I suppose to be pushing after I select the input button to change inputs on my tv?

No clue.  You might have selected a TV code that is not completely compatible with your TV.  Try this: http://forums.xfinity.com/t5/X1/XR5-and-XR11-quot-Voice-Remote-quot-Code-Lists/td-p/2550616

  • Indicator of changing Input Source

    Hi all,
today I noticed strange thing. I'm used to have 2 input sources and change them using Cmd+Alt+Space, but I do'nt like to show the Input menu in menu bar. In earlier versions of OS X there was an indication shown temporarily in the centre of display, something like volume indicator. But in OS X Yosemite this indicator is missing :-(. Is it possible to allow some option to show this list again? Or will this be back in some future upgrade? I really miss this feature, because I don't need to show the input menu in menu bar, but also when changing the input source to see which input is active.
    With regards

  • Custom Pipeline Component stopped changing input filename

    Hi
In my project, I have a custom pipeline component to change the input file name. I use it in the receive pipeline decode stage. It was working initially when I had only a receive pipeline and custom pipeline component in my solution. later I introduced
two schemas, an orchestration, map and a send pipeline. The rename is not working anymore. Please help.
    receive adapter: FILE
    send adapter: FTP
Custom pipeline component: (File Name Setter)
    Receive pipeline:
decode: custom pipeline component to rename the filename
disassemble: flatfile disassembler conecting to a document schema
    Map:
Schema 1 to Schema 2 (transforms from Windows to Unix format)
    Orchestration:
      receive message
      transform using map above
      send message
      Exception Handler
    Send pipeline:
      FlatFile assembler
    manibest

May be its not working now, because in the orchestration which you have added,
you’re constructing a new message from the received message and the context properties from the Received message is not copied across to the newly constructed message. So when you use “%SourceFileName%” macro in the send port,
the ReceivedFileName context property is missing in the newly constructed message which is sent out.
So in your Orchestration, while constructing (in MessageAssignment shape) the outbound message from the Received message, copy the context property of the Received message to the newly constructed message. Something like this
//This line copies all the context properties from received message to the outputted message
    msgOutputted (*)= msgReceived(*)
    //or
//This line just copies the receive file name context property from received message to the outputted message
    msgOutputted (FILE.ReceivedFileName)= msgReceived (FILE.ReceivedFileName).
If you’re not using the Orchestration or constructing the new message (even in map), then just add the schemas/orchestration or any pipeline would not affect the ReceiveFileName code. May be in this case, debug the pipeline and also check whether the outputted
message has ReceivedFileName in its context property.

  • Changing input without creative

I want to change e.g. from Line-In to Auxiliary. Is it possible to do this via batch or VB or w/e, just outside of the creative program so I can do it with one click?

You can do it in Windows mixer (sndvol32.exe) by doubleclicking the volume icon. It's still four clicks tho.
If you run it from a console with /r the record mixer will come up instead of the play mixer.
You'll never be able to write a VB to click the right options tho, because the script would need to know the registry names of the inputs which is going to be different for every driver. MS would never expose that.

  • Changing Input Sampling Resolution

I am using a PCI-6221 DAQ card for sampling an input signal.  This card provides 16 bits of resolution.  I'd like to simulate a 12-bit and 10-bit D/A converter, so I'm looking for a way to change the resolution to 10 and 12 bits.  Is it possible to configure the DAQ card to use these resolutions?  Or do I need to sample at 16 bits and then change to data to simulate 10 and 12 bits?
If it's not possible to configure to use 10 or 12 bits, is there a VI I can use to simulate 16 to 12 and 10 bit conversions?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I think you first need to understand the meaning of resolution. Typically, two limits, upper and lower limit will be set by the software. if lets say you have +/- 10V and 16 bits resolution, your stepsize is 20V divided by 2^16, which is 3x10^(-4). thats the smallest difference or delta you be able to see btwn two signals. if you use say a resolution of 10 bits, you get something like  2^10(-2). Since you are only doing a simulation, why not write your own conversion VI using these principles.

  • Changing input amplifier range on DAQPad 6016 when using VI Logger

How can I set the range to +/-50mV for AI on a DAQPad 6016 when using VI Logger?
I think the range defaults to +/-10V. I'm seeing a lot of noise on a 30mV input signal and I think it's because the PGIA is set at its lowest gain.

The range and gain are set when you configure the virtual channel for the VI Logger task. You can change the range for the channel by opening Measurement and Automation Explorer, under My System >> Data Neighborhood >> Open the folder labeled Virtual Task and right click on the specific channel and select properties. You can change the range within the window - if you set the range to be +/- 50mV in the channel the DAQ driver will automatically set the gain.

  • Changing Input Locale

    Hello
I have a problem with an internationalized app. I need to change the input locale of the system depending on which textfield has taken the focus, in this case, from hebrew to english and vice versa without using ALT+SHIFT. I got it using a C library but I need to do it completelly in java. There is any way to do it?
    Thanks a lot

Thank you very much for your answer. I have seen that Locale.setDefault works if I call this before initializing the frame. It changes the locale, and automatically the inputLocale of the system changes, allowing writing in another writing system. But I,m trying to change the input locale when the focus enter in a specific textfield. I don't want just to change formats in the textfield. I would like to change the writing automatically, without using ALT+SHIFT.
