CHANGING IPOD TO DIFFERENT COMPUTER (WINDOWS)

I just got a new computer and I want to change my iTunes to that one from a different computer in my house. Is there a way to transfer all the songs and videos to the new computer?

    Hey Dan...
I'm interested in using some video clips for purposes at my office, , , therefore, can't load any software onto my work laptop (i.e. iTunes)......
Was hoping there was some cable connection I could utilize to bring the videos up in Windows Media player via my iPod.....
    any chance of that?

  • Airport Utility for my Airport Extreme needs to be changed to a different computer, because the current computer is down permanently.. How do I do this?  Do I have to reset the Airport Extreme and start from scratch?

The computer (Win XP) on which the Airport Utility has been set up for the past few years is no longer accessible, so I need to set it up on a different computer. Can I do that with my exisitng wireless network, or will I have to set up a new network from scratch, once I have installed Airport Utility on the new machine?

You can install AirPort Utility on either a Mac or PC, but there would be no reason to make any changes to your existing configuration on the AirPort Extreme unless you need to do so.

  • How to play ipod on different computer than the library computer

I want ot use new / different computer to play ipod contents. I can see the contents but it is all greyed out.

you will need to have your ipod set to "manually manage songs and playlists" in order to play songs off the ipod through the other computer's itunes.
these resources might be of some assistance:

  • Download Photos from the iPod to the Computer (Windows XP)

I have backup some photos from my camera to the iPod. How can I download the same photos from the iPod to the computer now?

  • Changing iPod's master computer

I have an iPod whose master computer is my iMac. Now that I plug it into my MacBook, the MacBook doesn't recognize it, and the iPod just displays a "Do not disconnect" message until the laptop is off/sleeping, at which point the iPod works normally. How do I get the MacBook to recognize my iPod and become its master computer? I also have an iPod shuffle whose master is the MacBook--can a computer only master one iPod at a time??
Alternatively, I'd read online that iTunes 7 would allow us to sync an iPod with more than one computer's iTunes simultaneously. I have iTunes 7.0 on both my computers, but I haven't been able to do that with my Shuffle or 30GB video iPod. Am I doing something wrong?
My iMac has all the songs I want on my iPod, but the MacBook's USB 2.0 is much faster. I was actually hoping to populate the MacBook's iTunes from my 30GB iPod.
Posted part of this last fall but never got a response.
    Thanks.

Did you try resetting the new iPod? It should simply show up in iTunes.
Put the hold switch to the OFF/White position. Now toggle it ON/orange then back off again. Then press and hold both the MENU and center buttons on the iPod and hold them for a good 10 seconds or so. Your iPod should reboot starting with the Apple Logo screen.
If it doesn't work the first time, give it a second or third go. Sometimes it takes a few tries.

  • Ipod on different computer

I looked for this but couldnt find it so Ill have to ask .
Sorry if its been asked before.
I just purchased a second computer and want to put my ipod sync software on it.
Can this be done on 2 different computers and if yes then how do I go about it?

    Hello,
First off, be sure that you install all the iTunes and iPod software before connecting your iPod.
Try starting here -> Using iPod with multiple computers
If you have a version before iTunes 7.0, then try this link -> Using iPod with multiple computers on iTunes 6

  • How do I change ipod to different account

iPod needs to be changed to mother's account using her apple ID and password.  How do I do that?  The account is still paid with same credit card, etc.  Simply need to use her mother's ID and password and not mine.

Go to Settings>iTunes and App Store and tap the current ID and log out and log in with the other one.
    Note:
    - Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
    - To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

  • Trying to update ipod with different computer

Ok, so I just got my laptop back from Toshiba, and wanted to add some songs to my ipod. (Take in mind that Toshiba wiped my computer before they sent it back, and my ipod has only been used with that laptop), so when I went to update my ipod it deleted all 1241 songs from my ipod and replaced them with the 4 I wanted to add. So I need to know how do you update with other computers. Like my desktop for example, I can;t update my ipod on it now without deleting my entire library of songs......Maybe I should go back to iriver

you need to make certain that iTunes is set to manage songs Manually instead of Automatically

  • How to change ipod from one computer to laptop

I got a new laptop but my ipod is synced with my old computer how do i go about this?

An iPod can only be synced with one iTunes library at a time. If you to try to sync it with a new one, it will erase all the current contents of the iPod and replace it with what is in the new iTunes library.
So as long as all of your iTunes content is in your new iTunes library you can go ahead and choose the Erase and Sync option when you connect your iPod or restore it.

  • Satellite L675 - how to change to a different language (Windows 7)?

We recently bought a number of L675s with Windows 7 Home Premium. I've installed them all with language=German, but a couple of our staff have now come back and asked to have English instead. The machines came with four languages (English, German, French, Italian), but once installed, it doesn't seem to be possible to change the language. Not even using the recovery disk. What do I need to do to achieve this - buy the recovery disk media from Toshiba?

    {quote:title=Paolo30 wrote:}
As far as I know its not possible to change the language after you have chosen the language while Setup procedure.
    So either you will upgrade the Win 7 to Enterprise or Ultimate and will install an multiple language package (this is available for Win 7 Enterprise and Ultimate version only) or you would purchase the Toshiba recovery disk{quote}
Thanks, I was afraid of that - it looks like I would have to purchase a recovery disk per language ... what a rip off. Just because I need to change the language, I end up paying 25% of the price of another laptop.

  • Why does the Pixel size of a jpeg change on a different computer?

    I have a Mac OS X version 10.8.2 and Adobe Illustrator CS6.
When i save a file "for web" as a jpeg with a specific pixel size (320x50 for example) and then send it by email to someone, when they open it the dimensions somehow change.
Even though on my mac when i "get info" from the jpeg the dimensions are correct...
Please how can i stop this from happening?
    Thanks!

DId you check clip to artboard when yo made the jpeg, did your image size shwo the correct dimensions.
If you are checking the file on your end and it is correct, then we need to know more about what is going on at the recipeient's end and how they are determining the size is wrong.
