Changing Itunes account settings over internet

Hi
Odd situation. We have emigrated and our mac is happily travelling by boat to Australia. We have also just bought an iphone.
Problem is that I have cancelled the credit card that is associated with the itunes account so need to change it to a new card, but don't have my mac. Is there a website in Apple where I can change this, or can I do it on any other mac? Don't want o make life complicated for me when I reset the old mac up.

The iTunesID can stay what it is, even if you do not have the same email. It is simply the name of the iTunes account.
Change the email used in the iTunesID. In iTunes, select Store then click on the Account name at top right.
Select View account and update your email address.
My question is, can I change my iTunes account over to my other Apple ID, the one associated with my .mac account?
No. For whatever reasons, Apple has not made this available to do. I think they should.

You are trying to find a loophole to circumvent a basic rule that prohibits the transfer of purchased content from one Apple ID to another.
Content tied to an Apple ID are bound to that Apple ID forever. You can not merge or trade accounts. Well, not (officially) anyway...

Why would you make a new itunes account?
All of your purchases will be tied to the account from which they were purchasd. You will need to authorize your computers for that account.

I just got my first Macbook Pro (YAY!!), and after fiddling around with it for a couple of days I would like to take advantages of the features of syncing with iCloud in my new hardware and my iPhone 4 (basicly clean up account stuff and enable stuff like Photostream).
I have two Apple ID's.
My [email protected] is used on my new Macbook Pro for iCloud: contacts, calendars, bookmarks, photostream, doc's and data and Find My Mac. It is also used on my iPhone 4 for contacts, calendars, reminders and Find My iPhone.
My [email protected] is used on my Macbook Pro for Mail & Notes, Calendars and Chat. It is also used on my iPhone 4 for iCloud: contacts, calendars, reminders, bookmarks, photostream, doc's and data and Find My iPhone.
To me it seems like my two Apple ID's are contributing with the same things from multiple sides etc. My hotmail used to be my primary email, but I've changed and started using google's services more (especially mail, notes, contacts and calendar). I would like to remove hotmail as primary mail from my devices and use my gmail account as primary instead, and at the same time of course redirect my visa from my hotmail iTunes account to my gmail Apple ID. I will still add my hotmail to get the mail in my iOS and OSX mail native mail programs, but only as a "secondary" account attachment.
I've been reading about these topics of merging multiple ID's as well as the answer to this question https://discussions.apple.com/message/16400957#16400957 , but I can't figure out where to start and what to do. Can anyone please help me, let me know what to do, in which order or point me in the right direction?

Changing iTunes account on iphone

I purchased a used iphone and did a restore to factory settings but when I still connect to the app store it brings up the previous owner's email address. I put the correct account in iTunes on the computer and synced. New apps were added on the sync but you can't from the app store on the phone.

If that doesn't help, you could try Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase All Content and Settings and then restore and sync the phone again.

I have just had a replacement iPad 1 as my last one packed up. I set it up on my husbands mac and it has added all his email/iTunes to it. I want to use my iTunes account and email but cant work out how to change it now. Any help greatly appreciated.

Go to "settings" and scroll down to "store". Here you can log in with your itunes account.

Changing iTunes Account Activation?

I searched but didnt see anything specific.
Is It possible to change the iTunes account after the iPhone has been activated through iTunes with AT&T? For example, I have an iPhone now, but say I wanted to use a different iTunes account can I change that without reactivating, or will I have to reactive the phone all over again just to change the account?

The AT&T activation of the iPhone and your iTunes account are two different things. The only issue with creating a new iTunes account is that if you have any music/videos synced to the iPhone, you will get a warning if you try to sync the iPhone to this new library. If that is the library you want, then you can choose to delete the music from the first library. You will not have to reactive the phone.

Since I got my iCloud email from purchasing an iPod touch it is my main email that I use for everything. I want to change my iTunes email, which s a gmail account, with my iCloud email. But every time I do try to change it in settings it says I can't use a mobile me email as my iTunes account. Any help or tips to get around ths would be greatly appreciated.

Your purchases are permanently tied to the Apple ID (account) used to purchase them. They can't be moved to another account and you can merge accounts. You can start making new purchases with your iCloud ID if you want, but you will end up with two sets of purchases under two different IDs, adding further complication to your life.
Also, your @icloud email address is an alias of your existing @me address; emails sent to either address will be routed to the same inbox. You can decide which one you want to use as your default (as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5441) but you can't separate them.

I have seen people say that to change the itunes account on the ituoch you have to sign in on the computer. My computer is currently broken. My itouch is already set up but with a different itunes account. I would like to just change the itunes account on the itouch without using the computer. Will it work if I reset the itouch?

The only other way to change the account information from the iPod touch would be to erase the iPod from Settings> General> Reset> Erase iPod> Erase all Content and Settings.

IPad 2 unable to Change iTunes account

I recently changed my iTunes account on my iPad 2, however every time I try to update any apps, it brings up the old one which is no longer mine. Nor do I have access to use it. Does anyone know what I have to do to fix this? I cannot update anything and I am unable to use most of the apps because I haven't been able to update them.

Apps and all purchased content are forever tied to the ID used to purchase the content. If you created a new Apple ID rather than changing the old ID, you cannot update the content with the new ID. You need the old ID and password in order to update those apps.
If you no longer have access to that ID, your only option is to delete the apps and purchase them again with the new ID.
If you really did change the ID. And not create a new one, you need to sign into the changed ID in Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap the old ID and sign out, then sign in with the new one.

Need help changing iTunes store account details from US credit card to UK credit card - iTunes store keeps kicking us back to US store, which won't work anymore as all our payment cards are linked to UK addresses now.

You can unsubscribe from iTunes match by clicking the "turn off auto renew" button in the iTunes in the cloud section of your account settings in iTunes. Whether this is enough to enable you to change store or not I am not absolutely sure, if not you should contact couple directly for assistance using Express Lane
