Changing Layout on screen with multiple sections

Hello Gurus,
How can we change layouts for 3 different sections of the screen after executing single transaction.. It allows only one layout to set as default but other two remain unchanged. how can we change layouts for each section on the same screen.

Hi Agnes,
Enable 'Suppress Blank Section" option in Section Expert for those 3 footer section.
Go to Section Expert.
Click on the particular section(Say FooterA)
In the Commen tab, Check 'Suppress Blank Section" (5th one).
Do the same for Other two.

Hello everyone,
I'm a new and happy Mac user, but not fully able to use this. I hope you can help.
I have a Word document, with multiple sections that I want to convert into pdf. When I used to do this with the PC, I didn't have problems. I used to use Click to Convert and I normally used to get one single pdf file.
Now, using the pdf button wit the Mac, I get separate pdf files, one for each section. Is there a way that I can create a single pdf, with all the sections in order? If not, how can I merge the pdf in one single pdf file?

I am busy creating a screen in web dynpro for ABAP which we would like to make available via Portal ESS (Portal 7).
I need to add 'n type of table (or almost something like Excel) or something in which someone can type a few paycode numbers (there should be lets say 10 blank rows in which info can be typed in and if I click on a button or so, more rows must be added if necessary. Then in the other colums stuff like amounts must be entered which one should also be able to edit then and there.
Can anyone assist in what I can use for this? There does not seem to be some existing element that I can use.
Help will be appreciated.

Hi Debbie,
Whiel Creating table you need to be care full that use chose INPUT FIELD as the CELL EDITOR. Just guessing that if ur table is not editable u might have choosen TextView as default cell editor type.

easy way is to first add UI ELEMENT TABLE to your VIEW, then right click over it & select create binding from context. After you have a pop up where you can select what columns you want what should be its cell editor etc.

Is Find My Phone turned on, on your phone? If so, eject from iTunes, login to iCloud.com, locate your phone, then erase it.
Does the same thing...removes the passcode. Then, either restore from backup, or setup as a new device.

I have a macbook 2011 and its booting to the apple with a loading bar. it gets halfway and changes to a screen with the apple and a spinning circle. It spins untill it dies. will not boot to safe mode. Do not have orriginal osx disk either.... HELP :(

It happened after an update

Start up screen with multiple Apples then "You must restart" message

MDD 1Ghz 10.5.8
Things started running slowly. Got a grayish screen with a black box saying that I need to restart (in a few different languages!). Restarted to a screen with the apple kind of split into pieces in 3 different locations on the screen, with 3 different spinners under each apple. After a while, the screen of grayness returns, saying I need to restart. Rinse and repeat. Same old same old.
Disk utility tells me the start up drive is unrepairable. Luckily, Disk Warrior builds a new directory, I save the info on the drive.
New HD installed. Installed new 10.5 from DVD. OK for a couple days. Freezes, restart - now it will only start up to a multi colored, almost lava lamp looking screen with a distorted image of the box you get when you restart and it asks if you want to report or ignore (buttons are inactive).
Haven't seen this one in the past posts, so I thought I'd put it out there for suggestions. Thanks.

You lost horizontal sync or changed resolution. The screen was not locked in place so it re-drew that stuff so that it wrapped around and showed up in three different places. Not much to learn there.

That's good for the fixing the Directory, but does not rule on whether the data in files is any good or not.

That Setup Assistant screen should only appear when a file on the Hard drive called .AppleSetupDone has been deleted or is otherwise not accessible.

Crashing again so soon after a new Drive and System re-install is not good news. Difficult problems like this are often memory-related.
Do you have Apple Hardware Test?
Do you have any other memory test?
Have you re-seated the memories? This can remove corrosion.

Ipad stuck on changing rotation of screen with buttons

So I just got home and i went on my iPad. I played a game and wanted to mute it so I used the button. However instead of muting it locked my screen. I went to settings and went to "Sounds" then I turned on Change with Buttons however it still didn't work. Help?

I just found the answer to this problem on another community page, and the solution worked, Here it is:
If there isn't a lock symbol then try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
I have a similar problem. I was reading email, laid the iPad on a nearby table, and it switched to horizontal view and locked in that mode, and I can not get it to go back to being in vertical view or free rotate. I tried the control panel and the side switch - If I press the rotation lock on the control panel the home screen rotates 90 degrees and then goes right back to horizontal.

Dual Screen with multiple graphics cards?

I have tried to utilise two screens, both to a seperate grahpics card but it does not seem to be working! Setting them as two different devices with BUS id's does not work and xrandr does not seem to be working either - it comes up that one of the screens is disconnected.
Here is my 60-radeon.conf:

It's my understanding that this should never happen, and always deserves a bug report upstream at xf86-video-ati or the X.org server.
What you can first try is installing xf86-video-ati-git from AUR to see whether it's already fixed and just not in a stable release yet.
The next step would just be collecting a stack trace and posting it on https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=xorg in Driver/Radeon or so (only after looking whether ther is already a similar bug of course) depending on how the stacktrace looks.
You really want a second computer and do this with ssh because a paused X server that controls the keyboard/mouse and the tty is not something you want to deal with...
So you have an ssh server running and start X normally on your computer, then at the second computer you connect with ssh and attach gdb to the xserver with "sudo gdb /usr/bin/X $(pgrep -f /usr/bin/X)" or so. That will first pause the X Server and you have to "continue" with writing "c[enter]" or so. Then you do whatever you do to make it crash and when it is crashing, gdb will pause it again. Then you can get a backtrace with "bt[enter]". That will give you a list of function calls from which libraries lead up to the crash and possibly some extra information about parameters or so. Then quit with ctrl+d or "quit" or so.
If you get stuck on a black screen on the PC with the crashing X server, try "startx" over ssh and then killing it with ctrl+c again. Starting and killing X "properly" helped at least for me when that happened.
You can get a lot more information when you recompile some thing with debug symbols. For example if you have yaourt you can use yaourt -G xf86-video-ati-git to create a directory xf86-video-ati-git and download the PKGBUILD into it.
In the PKGBUILD you can add !strip to options so it looks like "options=('!libtool' '!strip')" and in the build() function anywhere before autoreconf/make add export CFLAGS="-O0 -ggdb" (and if there is c++ code, export CXXFLAGS="-O0 -ggdb", but for xf86-video-ati and the x server there isn't I think) and then simply reinstall with "makepkg -fi"
Now if you replicate the crash with packages with such debug information you can do "bt full" in gdb. Without these debug information you will just get a lot of "No symbol table info available." but with it you can get many variable values and function parameters that can help the developers greatly (possibly).

Adobe X Printing page ranges in pdf's with multiple sections

I'm trying to print a page range in a document that is divided into sections that start over with page 1 or page i, and using an absolute page range doesn't work. For example, the document has an initial cover page up to the Contents page numbered i - vi, then the Contents section is numbered i - iv, then the Figures section is numbered 1 - 2, then the Chapter 1 section is numbered 1 - 6, Chapter 2 is 1 - 14, etc.
In Adobe X, the default toolbar with the print, mail icons, then the up and down arrows, is followed by a box with the "page number" in it followed by a page range in (); for ex., the box has '1' in it and the range shows (15 of 94). If I was viewing the title page, the box would have 'i' in it followed by (1 of 94), etc.
When I try to print, the dialog menu shows the "Print Range" of "All", "Current Page", and "Pages". If I select "Pages" and enter the absolute number from the range in () like (15 of 94), and I want to print absolute page 15-35, and I enter that in the "Pages" box as 15-35, what I get is a section further in the document that I don't want at all, and not the desired page range. In fact, since the sections all restart the page numbering, I can't even find the starting page because the print function is totally confused about what page I mean.
In previous Acrobat versions, I had no trouble using the absolute page range since that is obviously required to get the desired range; i.e., Acrobat can't know what section I want, so for ex. putting page 1-10 can mean any section with 10 pages. I don't know how to use a page range for sections, like 2.1 - 2.4 or 2-1 to 2-4 because the Page range box doesn't recognize that. And again, the absolute page ranges don't work either.
The only way to print this document is to select the "All" button. If the doc is 1000 pages long, I don't want to waste all that paper!! Please help!

You can use the thumbnails pane and print pages selected within the pane.
Have you tried other strings like:
1 - 6 , 1 - 13

was posted the question under the wrong discussion board lol, there are about 5-9 pixels visible under black background (so far i couldn't tell if i see them under other color backgrounds yet), bought this notebook on 6/5

Depending on the consumer rules in your country.. you might be allowed to exchange or refund the product as you're 'dissatisfied'. For example, in the UK the Apple Store allows you to get a Refund or Exchange within the first fourteen (14) of purchases, do check the small print on your invoice. If you are allowed.. then by all means return the product to their store and ask for a exchange.

Selectively Format Groups with Multiple Columns

I have a bit of an obscure task I've been trying to hammer out to no avail. I've searched quite a bit but can't seem to find anyone else who has attempted this. I have two group by statements, one is a category and the other is a rank. What I'm trying to do is organize the report so that there are category rows and below each category row is a set of columns for each rank with their associated values as such:

value2   value2    value2   value2

rank1     rank2     rank3

value2   value2    value2
I've tried using details>Section Expert>>Layout>Format Groups with multiple column. Unfortunately, this applies to both groups putting the categories into columns instead of rows, making a mess. Does anyone know of a way to selectively put groups into columns and ensure alignment? In the above example the user would be able to compare rank values from multiple categories since they all line up. Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Have you tried using a crosstab? Give this a shot:
1) Group the report on Category
2) Create a new group header section. Group Header b
3) Place a crosstab in this section
4) The columns would be the Rank field, I'm not sure about what you would like to show in the rows
5) The summarized field would be the Value field ofcourse

CRM_DNO_MONITOR - way to customise display apart from 'change layout' ?

Hi friends,
In the transaction CRM_DNO_MONITOR, there is a standard screen offering a few selection parameters.
Based on what you choose, the next screen is displayed with all those relevant messages.
There is a "Change Layout Button" as with many SAP reports. One can choose to include a further fields to get displayed on the report screen.
My questions are:
(1) Is there a way to include more fields than suggested by the "Change Layout" dialog box? For instance, I was keen to know why the following fields were not offered for selection:
a) Support Team
b) Subject (field name - LISTCODE)
(2) Is there a way to easily include Z fields as part of the Support Message (standard Transaction Type SLFN) and use such Z fields in display ?
(3) Is there any other transaction, apart from CRM_DNO_MONITOR that offers even better control on filtering/ sorting messages ?
Any suggestions and workarounds would be gratefuly acknowedged.

Being a person who started from 3.1 days, yes DNOTIFWL was my first port of call
However, what I realised was that if you set a notification to 'Completed', it does not automatically set the Message Status to 'Confirmed'. Therefore, the status values as seen by Testers from within STWB_WORK does not reflect the updated position.

At the moment, ii is not an option I have since there is no ABAP talent meant to serve SolMan stream. i is inadequate and iii doesn't help either, unfortunately.

Sharing screen to multiple users

Hi,
can someone help please. I can group call OK, share a screen to individual people OK but when I go to share a screen with multiple friends it won't work. I have read that you need a Premium subsription and also read this is no longer available to subscribe to.
What do I need to subscribe to now & where. Its not been made very clear ;-(

Create a pfd file from a word 2004 file containing multiple Sections.

I just got a macbook pro, installed office 2004 and acrobat pro 8.1. However, when I want to print - using PDF 8.9 printer driver - a word file with multiple sections in it, I cannot get the full document in the pdf file but only the last Section.
Some sections are portraits and others are landscapes.
Any idea what is happening? Tried to play with various set-up but nothing works...... Help!

Thanks, however, I tried and it does not work. Also I correct the printer driver is 8.0 not 8.9. I tried both ways you mentionned but I get the pdf files in multiple sections (one file per section), cannot get a full file with all sections at once.

Repeat "Detail a" section when using "Format with Multiple Columns" layout

I am using Crystal Reports for .NET (VS 2008) and I would like to get the "Detail a" section to repeat at top of a second column containing additional data in "Detail b" section. Please see below for example, specifically "Detail a (2)". Any tips or help much appreciated.

the format with multiple columns i dont believe will show you the value 2x, but allows you to display the values across instead of down.
i think you may want to use a sub report
