Changing my email address account

Hi all,
When I first created my iTunes Store account, I used a gmail address..
I'm willing to change that and replace the gmail address by my me.com address..
I can't do that, when I replace the gmail by the me.com, the system is telling me I can't replace with an existing account and that I can login with me.com..
When I login with me.com, the system redirects me to the gmail..
How do I erase definitively the gmail stuff ??..

You would have to delete the existing iCloud account and create a wholly new one - you cannot change the @icloud.com email address of the one you already have. To make a new one, you will also need an new AppleID as any AppleID can only have one iCloud account associated with it.
Deleting the account will not delete anything off your device (if prompted for things like contacts, choose to keep them). You will have to sync everything anew with the new account as you cannot move your sync'd content, your old backups or anything else from one iCloud account to another. You will have to set up sync again and let it sync to the new account, and then make new backups to the new account as well.

No, you won't. See the link provided by NoName.
Note that when authorizing a computer for the old songs, you will need to use the same AppleID they were purchased with, even if you simply change the account info.
If you right click - get info, you can see that is embedded in the song file itself.

At this time, you cannot change the email address for an account. When you sign up for a new account it will ask you to provide a password on the very first page and then confirm it before you continue.

Go to System Preferences and click Sign Out, select Delete at all the prompts, then sign back in with the changed ID? (Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac when you sign out and choose Delete, but will still be in iCloud. I am trying to change the email address associated with my existing account to free up my university email address for use in obtaining Creative Cloud. Every time I go to the account settings of my existing account (which currently uses my university email, as I set it up years ago and had no idea it'd eventually cause problems), I enter a different email to use for that account but I continuously receive an error message saying "account changes cannot be saved." It makes me think that it's because the email isn't verified (funny, it actually is verified since it has been the alternate email on the old account for years), but when I click the "send verification email" nothing happens (that is, no email is sent to that other email address).
Anyway, my university is now requiring that faculty create new accounts using our university email addresses in order to register/use Creative Cloud. Am I able to delete my old account, or can anyone help me actually change the email address associated with my old account without getting a "changes can't be saved" error?

I changed my email address and apple id a year ago, but i am not sure how to change my icloud acccount information so it meshes with all my apple devices which include: an original ipad, iphone 4s, and my macbook pro. I keep seeing this message, " I cloud unable to access the account ( my old email address) Review your account information in your settings. OR it asks me for my old email address password, which i do not remember!

Sign out of the iCloud account (In System Preferences>iCloud)

Settings>iCloud...scroll down...delete account. Then setup iCloud with your new ID.
You can't change the Apple ID for your iCloud account, you have to delete it.

If you remeber the password to that Apple ID then follow these steps
1 - Make sure you have an email address that is NOT an Apple ID
2 - Go to AppleID.Apple.com
3 - Where it reads Manage Apple ID - Sign in
Once you are signed in want to make sure the email address you are wanting to use is NOT set up as a "Recovery/Rescue" email for this account.
[To check this - Main page where you see Primary ID - below do you see the email address you want to use listed towards the bottom? Yes - Delete / No - Good ./. If made any adjustments "Save" Next on the left select "Password & Security" - Answer your security questions you set up "if you have any" then scroll towards the bottom and check to see if you see the email address you want to use. Yes - Delete / No - Good] <-> Also you can change your password on this page as well. Any adjustments made "Save"
Once this is done go back to the main page where you should read "Primary ID" and change the email address that is showing to the new email address youo want. "Save" Done

If it is your iCloud mail address you want to change, you can't.

I have added a new email address but kept my Id, but I get busy when trying from iPhone to iPad as they are clashing. Like find my iPhone app hence trying to keep them all on one account

Your basically calling/emailing yourself that's why your getting a busy signal.

To change the iCloud ID on your phone, first save your photo stream photos to your camera roll (if not already there) by opening the my photo stream album, tapping Edit, tap the photo thumbnails, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the changed ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your phone, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your phone when you sign back in.

From what I understand is that your brother no longer has access to the email being used for the Apple ID. He will be able to change his Apple ID if you follow the instructions in the article below:

If you have 'Find My iPad' activated on the iPad it will cause this problem. You will have to contact Support for help. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'More Products and Services', then 'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password' and click 'Continue'.

It sounds like you have a new email address you would like to use to replace the email address you are currently using for your Apple ID, without losing any of the info you have in the account. You can update the email address with this article named:

Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com), click "Manage your Apple ID", and sign in.
If you have two-step verification turned on, you'll be asked to send a verification code to the trusted device associated with your Apple ID. If you are unable to receive messages at your trusted device, follow the guidelines for what to do if you can't sign in with two-step verification.
In the "Apple ID and Primary Email Address section," click Edit.
Enter the email address you want to use, then click Save Changes. Apple will send a verification email to that address.
Open the email from Apple, then click Verify Now in the email.
When the My Apple ID page opens, sign in with your renamed Apple ID.
If you have two-step verification turned on, you'll be asked to send a verification code to the trusted device associated with your Apple ID.
