Changing my iTunes account
I recently got a mobile-me account and iTunes will not let me change my email to the mobile-me one because it sees the mobile-me account as a seperate iTunes account. I have purchased songs and applications with my existing iTunes account and I would like to keep that same date while using the new mobile-me email address. How do I do this?

Do you mean that you've updated your existing account, created a new account, or want to do one of those ?
If you've updated your existing account then to get that update reflected on an iPad, iPhone and/or iPod Touch then you may need to log out of the account on the device by tapping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in in order to 'refresh' the account on it.
If you've created a new account then you can log out and back in similar to above (and via the Store > Sign Out menu option on a computer's iTunes), but any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can authorise its content on a new computer, redownload it and download updates to its apps.

I let my ex keep my Apple ID as he had purchased a large amount of music, so he uses it on his Iphone and computer, and I started a new account on my Iphone, and I'd like to use that one on my computer, but I can't figure out how to log out of my old Apple ID and use the new one.
If the desired iTunes library is in a different Mac OS X user account, choose to log out from the Apple menu and then log in.
If the desired iTunes library is in the same Mac OS X user account, launch iTunes with the Option key held down and specify it.

The error means that your antivirus or firewall is blocking the update process. -
My iTunes account is under my @yahoo email address and I became accustomed to my @Me email and now like the idea of the @iCloud email address that was made. My questions are....can I change my iTunes account to my @iCloud name without instead of my @yahoo name without losing my years snd years of purchases ? Can I also create an @Mac address ? ....or is my @yahoo and my @iCloud already recognized as the same by apple and my purchases would already be fine as well as restoring my devices ?
Your purchases are permanently tied to the Apple ID (account) used to purchase them. They can't be moved to another account and you can merge accounts. You can start making new purchases with your iCloud ID if you want, but you will end up with two sets of purchases under two different IDs, adding further complication to your life.
Also, your @icloud email address is an alias of your existing @me address; emails sent to either address will be routed to the same inbox. You can decide which one you want to use as your default (as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5441) but you can't separate them. -

Try contacting Apple through Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices)

I puchased a used laptop and need to change the itunes account.
Go to the Store menu in iTunes and choose "Deauthorize this Computer".
Then you'll have to go back to the same menu and choose "Authorize this Computer".
Of course, this might delete any purchases made from this account and delete them from your iTunes library. -
