Changing my R/3 Box settings

I have a WAS + Portal on one box that talks to an R/3 box. Everything is properly configured. The J2EE engine is using SAP as UME. Now suppose if I change the R/3 box, ie, a different IP, then what all I would need to change at the portal level. Can someone send me a checklist of things that I need to ensure that both the boxes communicate properly.
For example, I would need to change my UME settings, System properties.

A different IP address isn't a problem, it's if you start changing hosts and/or SIDs that you may need to do some more serious changes, The host is found in:
UME settings (if ABAP is used)
system landscape
Web Dynpro (if that's being used)
Same with the SID.
You also need to reload the portal's certifiacte into the new system.
That should be about it!

Could you explain this 'at the global settings level and not project....'? What did you change? Normally you'll have to change the object style of the highlight box:
If you do this without opening the first CP-file, the style will be applied to all your new projects while recording.

Photoshop CC keeps changing my windows folder view settings

Every time I save a file from PS into a particular folder on my desktop, the view settings for that folder get reset to defaults.
For example, I like the view setting to be on "details" and to be sorted in descending order by "date modified" (not 'date', which means i have to uncheck the 'date' field and check the 'date modified' field each time this happens)
I open and close this folder from my desktop many times a day and the view stays the same, but as soon as I save a file out of PS and navigate to that folder from the save dialog box the view is reset to "thumbnails" again; which would be ok if it only showed up that way while in PS but once this happens it changes the view even for when I open the folder from the desktop.
This does not happen with any other program, only PS. I'm using windows 7 pro 64-bit.
It's worth noting that if I change the view settings from withing the save dialog box, those changes are not reflected when I open the folder from desktop.
Also, once I make the changes, PS will keep the settings for all subsequent save operations, even after closing and re-opening the program. But once I reboot I'm back to square one.

Photoshop has no control over that. That is an OS setting, and open/save are OS dialogs (not really controlled by Photoshop).

Although there is no "hint box" component, so I don't know if it will help.

Is the same true for using the App Store with a desktop machine? Someone installed a program on my machine (the IT department) and I would like to install the updates but it was installed under a different Apple ID. This anyone know how to change, or work around this particular issue?

Hi, thanks for your question. Reflow follows the rules of CSS and HTML. There is not a way to swap or move objects in the DOM without using something like Javascript. We've avoided that, and only focus on CSS and HTML with Reflow.
Yes, you can use multiple boxes in different places and change their display as needed. But I might caution against doing this as it may add work for both you and anyone else that may take this design and put it into production. I might take a look at why you want to move the boxes around, and maybe find a simpler or more efficient design pattern to follow to get a result you would be happy with. Hope that doesn't sound preachy, you should try it if you want and don't listen to me. Either way, let me know how it goes!

I had this very same problem when trying to activate iMessage and Facetime on my iPad. When I signed into my account, I actually wasn't even presented with the option of a phone number - notwithstanding the fact that I was contacting others (and being reached by others) by my phone number on my iPhone. Having both the iPad and the iPhone on, I kept trying to turn off and on both iMessage and Facebook in Settings on both my iPad and iPhone, hoping that that they would eventually sync. But this proposed solution by others was unsuccessful for me.
Then, I found out what the problem was: When my iPhone was activated, it automatically registered my phone number for contact purposes. I was using iMessage on my iPhone for quite some time without actually being signed into my Apple ID account. When another device - such as an iPad or iPod - is being used for iMessage or Facebook, you are prompted to sign into your Apple account, using your username and password. These two devices will not register your phone number as an option for contact unless your iPhone is signed into your Apple account as well. In other words: your phone number will not be synced.
Go into your "Settings" on your iPhone and click on "Messages". Scroll down and click on "Send & Receive" (which should be followed by your phone number). On the next page, you will be able to determine whether or not your iPhone is using the Apple ID for messaging purposes. (Note: This information applies for Facetime as well.) If it is using your Apple ID for messaging, than at the top, you will see "Apple ID: <your particular e-mail account>" in Blue text. However, if you are not using your Apple ID for messaging, than you will see the words: "Use your Apple ID for message". Even though below this you will see your phone number checked as the contact source, you will want to click the tab that says, "Use your Apple ID for message". Sign into your account (just as you must sign in for iMessage on your other devices), and just choose your phone number as the "Send & Receive" contact. (The option of the e-mail will be there too, but you don't have to check it. And later on, you can delete it as an option.)
Now that all of your devices are signed in using your Apple ID, the other devices should register your phone number as a choice. It may take a little while, however. What I did was sign out of iMessage on my iPad, and then sign in again. If the option didn't appear, I just went back and signed in again, and kept doing this until the option for the phone number appeared.
Again, this will work for Facetime as well. The solution is to sync your iPhone account with the other devices by using your Apple ID for messaging (and Facetime) purposes.

It's a MacBook Pro from June 2012.
     - 2.5GHz Intel Core i5
     - 500 GB hard drive
     - 4GB Ram

How to recover my notebook at factory - out of box settings with recovery DVD's.

Due to hard disk crash i formatted my hard disk, also deleted all partitions including HP Tools and HP Recovery partitions. But I have my recovery DVD of my notebook that i have created at the time of notebook purchase.
When i Inserted First Disc of my RECOVERY DVD's ..WIndows installation started and recovery manager shown the error : "The System recovery media does not support this computer. you are not able to restore this system with media."
Please assist me to how to recover my notebook at factory - out of box settings with recovery DVD's.

Resetting Macbook to out of the box settings

Hi, Can anyone tell me if its possible to reset my Macbook without having to run the install CD?
In other words I am selling it but want to upgrade it to 10.5 but I want to set it back to the out-of-the box settings... I hope I am being clear?

You need to use the install CD in order to erase and reinstall a clean Mac OS X.
Also, if you used iTunes on this MacBook, launch iTunes. Select Store from the Menu Bar, then click Deauthorize Computer...

If i login to bank ffox removes id & pwd. ffox wont save changes to history or cookie settings.

when i log onto my bank it prompts for id and password. i key them in hit enter and the page comes back with id and password empty. i tried changing settings for history from remember history to use custom settings for history, deleting cookies and restarting ffox. when i check the settings they say remember history again. i do not use ffox password save feature. stuck.

The "Use custom settings for history" selection allows to see the current history and cookie settings, but selecting this doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings.
Firefox shows "Use custom settings for history" as an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that changes were made.
If all history and cookie settings are default then the custom settings are hidden and you see "Firefox will: (Never) Remember History".
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Did you check the cookie exceptions?
This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.
*check the permissions on the about:permissions page and in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*https://support.mozilla.org/kb/fix-login-issues-on-websites-require-passwords
If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies got corrupted.
*Rename (or delete) <b>cookies.sqlite</b> (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like <b>cookies.sqlite-journal</b> in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
