follow the steps..if struck in between let me know ....
Steps to change the default SAP IMAGE on the right hand column of the screen:-
Transaction code - SMW0
X - Binary data for WebRFC application
Hit Enter
Click Execute
Click Settings -> Maintain MIME types
Click the Create button
Fill in :- TYPE : image/gif EXTENSION : .GIF
Click Save
Click Back to the Binary data for WebRFC
Click Create
Fill in :- Obj. name : ZXXXX.GIF Description :
Company Logo
Click Import and specify the filename where your
GIF file is
Located. File type is BIN. Finish press the
Transfer button.
If successful, your logo will be shown in the
Binary data for
WebRFC.
Transaction code SM30 - Table/View - SSM_CUST
Click Maintain
Click New Entries
Name Value to be set
START_IMAGE ZXXXX.GIF
RESIZE_IMAGE NO
Logoff and Login again

You'll have to register at Sample Code site to obtain access. With this sample it's easy to start and modify by your needs.

Issue in changing the Mountain logo in CRM WEB UI

Hi Everyone,
My requiremnet is to change the mountain logo in the web ui logon screen. I have done all the configurations as per the link given below:
New Skin Management Part 3 - Example about how to change the image above WorkCentre from CRM7.0 Ehp1 - CRM - SCN Wiki
Still I am unable to show it up on the web ui screen. I am working on CRM 7.0 EHP3.
Steps that I have followed:
1. Copied the bsp application THTMLB_STYLES to Z*_SKIN and activated it.
2. Created a custom folder by copying the standard skin in SPRO customizing ''Access Skin Workbench''
3. Uploaded a new logo in custom folder under default-->styling-->lshape
4. Copied the css file 'thtmlb_stand.css' to 'thtmlb_new.css' and changed logo name to the new logo name. Uploaded it to the custom folder under default.
5. Did customizing under sub node: 'Define path for CSS files'
Could you please suggest if I missed something in this procedure?

Usually, this is a customizing task, shoule be performed in Dev/Customizing client and once the reequest is released, then only it reaches to the testing client.
Did it ask for a customizing request, usually it does, when you make the changes to UI config. I remember similar kind of issue I'd before, then i tried to do the same config in BSP_WD_CMPWB and it worked. May some some notes related to UI config wud be missing , please check it in SMP.

Hi,
If you are trying to change the favicon for your site,
You can do it from Site Manager-> Page template -> Default Template
Look for the code <link type="image/x-icon" href="/Path for your image" rel="icon" />, and Click save.
Now where you will use this template, it will display your favicon for that webpage instead of BC favicon. You can define it on Page directly if you are not going to use template.
Please let me know if you have any doubt.

Is it a one bit eps file, that is one color?
EPS is not a transparent format.
Have you tried Photoshop Quark 8 I believe supports photoshop files with transparent background. I believe.
Try exporting it as a psd. I also believe that Quark 8 supports .ai files as well.

Go to the "File" menu, then "Print." The window that appears will have three drop-down menus at the top.
The first is labeled "Printer",
The second is "Presets".
The third is unlabeled but has "Copies & Pages" selected by default.
Click on that third menu and select "Firefox" near the bottom of the list.

I downloaded the com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par and opened it on IDE.
I understood that I need to update the HeaderiView.jsp on this location:

Hi Yoel,
if u want to change only the logo it doesnt require the change of code.u can change it through theme editor.
customization of par file is required if and only if u want to change the structure of masthead that is changing the places of logo,branding image etc..
To change the logo through follow thest steps
1.Navigate through System Administration --> Portal Display --> Open your theme
2. Save it in your own name to avoid the changes in the default theme.
3.Open the Logo section.
4.In this provide the full address of ihe image location at the URL to logo field.
5.Save your changes and assign this theme to your portal desktop.

7912 default logo problem

We're trying to change the default bmp logo on the 7912 phone.
We've followed the instructions in the documentation using bmp2logo.exe and put all the converted files in the TFTP folder on the Cisco Call Manager server.
Problem is, it's not changing the logo.
We've followed the directions at: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/phones/ps379/products_administration_guide_chapter09186a00801b1b73.html
and the directions in the .txt file from the bmp2logo.zip files.
After a reboot of the phone, the new logo isn't showing, only the Cisco Logo.
We're wondering if there's a config change in CCM that we may be missing. The documentation doesn't refer to anything, but simply rebooting the phone is not pulling the new logo.
If anyone has any help, we'll appreciate it!!

The document on CCO is incorrect. I have rewritten the correct proceedure and am waiting for it to post. Meanwhile, this is the correct proceedure. Pay attention to step 7:
1. Download the SCCP Software Package Zip file.

2. Create the bitmap of the image to load to the phone
-The bitmap must be 88x27 pixels in size
-The bitmap must be black and white
-The bitmap must be saved as a monochrome image type
3. Convert the bitmap into a logo image using bmp2logo.exe
-bmp2logo x input_file output.logo
where x is an arbitrary number
-example: bmp2logo 10 cisco.bmp cisco.logo
4. Create a text file that will be used to build the ld or gk cfg file
-The file can be any name
-Must contain the upgradelogo key
-The SampleLogo.txt can be used as a template.
NOTE: the image number defined in step 3 must be used in this text file
5. Create the cfg file, use the cfgfmt.exe
-cfgfmt SampleLogo.txt lddefault.cfg
NOTE: if the same image is desired on all 7905's and 7912, use the lddefault.cfg and gkdefault.cfg files.
6. Move the .logo file into the TFTPPATH directory
7. Move the lddefault.cfg or gkdefault.cfg) (attached) into the COUNTRY specific folder.
-The ld or gk cfg files will need to be in at least \TFTPPATH\United_States
NOTE: The cfg file will need to be copied to each COUNTRY directory supported by the CM.
8. Reboot the 7905 or 7912 for the new image to display

Power view in SharePoint - Changing the default save location?

Is it possible to change the default location when saving Power view back into SharePoint?
Our users are creating their own power view reports by clicking a power view shared data source in SharePoint document library.
When saving their reports, the default location is always the same location where the data source is. This is described here also:

Ouch! Not the network!
One of the hard learned issues that folks are unaware of until they encounter problems is that Captivate does not do well when a project is stored on a network. It's fine to keep projects there in order to back them up or as a transfer pivot location to allow others to edit, but you never want to open Captivate, click File > Open and browse to a network location to open a project for editing.
Best practice at this point is to keep projects on your local C drive when you make edits.

Office 2013 - Is there a way to when installing that you can change the default save location without having to configure it within the client?

So, What I am trying to do is deploy Office 2013 throughout our company, and I do not want the users to save their business or personal files created within Office 2013 on the C: drive or Sky Drive. We have what is called the U: drive and I'd like to know
if there's a quick registry tweak that I can use to not only change the default location upon setting up a computer, but to deploy through Group Policy?
One other question perhaps; Is there a way to change not only the file location to default to only the one place, but also is there a way to also set a specific size limit to folders and prevent certain files from being saved (videos and personal pictures).
I have our network pretty tight as to what or who can go where, and what not, I am just really for an answer or some help to the default location...anything you have GREATLY APPRECIATED!

How do I change my default printer to print in grayscale using a MacBook Air? I have gone to "system preferences" and "printers & scanners." However, there is absolutely no option to change the print color scale. My issue: I want to save several pdf files (from the Adobe Reader in my browser) one at a time and each time it defaults the save as directory to the desktop and I have to go looking for the directory I last saved a pdf file in. I got lots of directories and I wish I could change the default setting for the save as directory. Just a minor thing but irritating as other programs usually will allow you to switch the default save as directory to one of your choosing.

There is not a way to set the default location from all the forums i searched in the last couple days.
