Changing order in Organizer albums

Can anyone help me please?
I have just installed Photoshop Elements 10 on my Mac. Having created an album I find that the Media Browser Arrangement dropdown menu will allow only oldest or newest first, with no custom option. Is this normal? If so, how do I rearrange the picture order other than by date?

When you select an album choose Album Order from the dropdown. The thumbnails then get numbered. You can drag them into any order of your choice and they remain fixed.

When running a slideshow from an album it will not run properly if the photos are sorted manually. Sort them by any of the other options, title, date, rating, etc. and it will play correctly.
Send a report of the problem to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.
If you must sort them manually create the slideshow in the slideshow mode in iPhoto, not from an album.

First off I'll say that iPhoto for iOS and iPhoto on your Mac are different applications. They have similar features but the are different in many ways.
On the iPad you cannot change the order of photo albums in iPhoto for iOS. You can change the order of albums in the Photo app but these changes will not come through in iPhoto for iOS. IPhoto for iOS will also rearrange photos within albums so that the order in iPhoto for iOS is different from the order in the Photos app. There's no way to change this.
iPhoto on your Mac is a much more powerful application when it comes to organizing photos and albums.

umm my music is synced depending on how i want it.. so right now I have it set up by artist, and alphabetically.
sort your library the way you want it, then sync.

Photos change order when burning to disc

I have created a separate album of photos that I want to burn to a CD. When I do so, some of the photos change order. I have tried to delete those photos and then re-add them to the album, but to no avail. I have also tried to change their date so that they are chronologically in the right order, but this doesn't help either. Any help would be truly appreciated. I want to give this CD to my father for Christmas. Thanks!!

You should be able to make a slidshow almost as easy as what you're trying to do right now... it'll take some pratice
Personally, I have both exported a slideshow from iPhoto to iDVD and also created a slideshow directly in iDVD, the latter is a better fit for what you're doing.
Open iDVD, create new project, name as you like and save, will auto open to work window, click on 'customize', pick a theme you like. Now click on 'Map' and in the customize pane click on 'Media'. In the media pane you have itunes, photos and movie, select photos... you're iPhoto library will appear along with all the albums you might have created and organized. Here's what makes it sweet, you can drag each album into the 'Map' Theme icon and it will automatically import and turn into a slideshow and take on the name of the album... to see your progess hit the Preview button... you'll have to do a little learning and tweaking, you can add music etc., but that's it, you made a slide show ready to burn to a dvd...
My suggestions would be to organize albums as you like, named appropriately and just have fun with it. You can save and go back and edit at a later date. Use the highlight and delete or cut options to remove etc etc etc...
You can burn project using the File > Burn DVD option or you can save the FINAL production use the File > Save As Disk Image option, and you can burn the DVD through disk utility which will give you more options on burn speed and buring at 1x speed may yield the best results...

How to manage the order of music albums on ipad?

Ipad's MUSIC app obstensibly shows all my albums, in ALBUM view, in alphabetical order. I have about 20 different versions of "Dark Side Of The Moon" all by different artists but they are all named different things ("Dub side..." "Return to the Dark Side..." "Not So Bright Side...") so the albums appear all over the page, amongst my other music, which makes sense.
However, I'd like to organize them so they all appear next to each other. So when I'm in the moon for "Dark Side Of The Moon" I can easily look in one section and choose more easily. I tried renaming all those albums with a zero in front of the album name. For example, "0Dark Side Of The Moon," "0Sleepy Side of the Moon," etc. I thought I was pretty clever. Problem is, roughly three quarters of the albums responded to this renaming. Others retained the new zero-prefix name but did not react alphabetically. The Flaming Lips' "0Dark Side Of The Moon" Still appears in the "D"s, while many, if not all, of the other albums all went to the end of the list. Something is blocking these albums from reacting to the alphabetical renaming.
I also tried changing the "GENRE" catagory of all these albums to "DSOTM." Clever, I thought to myself. But when I viewed that genre, it listed all the SONGS in alphabetical order, not the albums. Ugh...
Would greatly appreciate any insight to this.

What you are attempting to do should work (I'll leave the obsession with DSOTM between you and your mental health professional - I always preferred Wish You Were Here myself). Assuming you have Sort By Artist turned off. The Music app will parse out leading "The" when sorting, albiet sometimes inconsistantly. I wouldn't imagine it is somehow picking up your prefix because of the frequency and doing the same, but I guess not out of the question. Ican only recommend two things:
Double check the tagging in iTunes, then completely remove and then resync these albums to the iPad.
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

My understanding is that you can click on the phots that you want to move and drag it to a new location within the same album. After i select the photo that I want to move and click on the photo, I get a cirlcle with a diagonal throught it and am unable to drag the photo to its new location. What am I doing wrong? I know this should be a simple thing to do. Thanks

In the Elements Organizer 13
The key to all this is to click on/select/highlight the Album that you have created in Local Albums.
Then make sure that the Sort By: (in the row below the highlighted "Media" header is set for Album Order.
You should see a number at the top left of each of thumbnails.
Then, click on the thumbnail that you want to move, hold down the click, and drag the thumbnail to the wanted new location
in the line up of thumbnails.
Often I had to press down hard on the drag.
Please let us know if that worked for you.
Also, in Edit Menu/Preferences/Keyword Tags and Albums/Enable Manual Sorting Options, I set all for manual.

iPhoto '11 is working well.
The reviews usually only show the comments of people who do not like the changed features.

How to change the Purchase Organization filed in the Purchase requistion..

I am creating the requirement of material through MD62. Later I am runiing MRP through MDO3 to create the purchase requistion against that. Now my requirement is that if the source list is not maintainted ( ME01) for that material, I want to change the purchase organization field for the puchasre requistion created through MD03.
Can any one help me how can I changed that though programming. Any user exit or badi for that .
Note* : I am working in SAP 4.6 system.

My changes made in "Organize Bookmarks" used to be automatically saved, now they are NEVER saved, and not button to specify "save"

It used to be that i could make changes such as sorting of folder bookmark listings in "organize bookmarks" and they would occur immediately in my Firefox browser. Now, for some reason, every time i make these changes in the Organize Bookmarks screen, nothing i've changed has any effect on my Firefox browser. There is no place in "organize bookmarks" to force a save, so there's no way for me to implement the changes. Don't understand why this worked before and does not now.

The Views menu in the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks) is for displaying the bookmarks in different sorting orders (hence the name Views) and doesn't sort bookmarks permanently.

Ordering an iPhoto album from Macau

Apparently I can't order an iPhoto album as I live in Macau. Used to have a Canadian CC so it wasn't a problem previously. Anyone know of a work-around?

Change order of key figure is not working in Web report output (using WAD)

Hi,
We are using BI 7.0, release 701 and level 008. We are facing problem in WAD (web report output). When ever we do 'Select filter' for key figures and 'change the order' of key figures, it does not get reflected in new order. Though drag and drop of key figures is working.
Though same change order is working fine in Bex Analyser.
Kindly suggest some inputs.
