Changing position of titles

Hey guys...I don't have iLife 08, yet...geez, I barely used the last version.
I'm doing a quick "slide show" in imovie HD for a friend....and can't seem to figure out how to change the placement of the TITLE.
It shows up in the middle of the clip, I want to move it to the BOTTOM of the clip...can anyone advise on this?

Hopefully one of the "Top Users" can address this better than I. iMovie Help states that, if available, you "can position the title style's origination point by clicking the preview monitor" and "if the pointer(?) changes to a crosshair you can click a place in the preview monitor where you want the title to begin". I don't think the selection of iMovie HD's title styles include that capability (perhaps someone can recommend a "plug-in" with such).
One thing that might help position your subtitle lower is by checking the "QT Margins" box, which will lower the text to the bottom of the screen. Only, it may get cut off if viewing on a TV screen. Also, you can position the text left or right of center by typing a "." to the far left (to get the text to line up on the right) or to the far right (text will be on left) of the text in the text viewer. This is an annoying problem for me too. Recently upgraded from CS2 to CS4. I use styles a lot and like to keep the palletes for them open on the bottom right of the screen. I used to reduce the width of a window of a document back so it sat to left of these palletes and it would stay this way whenever I opened it, but now every time I open a document it defaults to full screen width and so need to move the styles palletes to access the thing at the bottom right of the document window to resize it. This is very annoying. How do you set it so Indesign remembers a document's window width as well as its position? If you can't, why the hell not? Also tried this with application frame, but it has the same behaviour within the frame. Not keen on application frame anyway, still like the option-click on the desktop behind to hide the app quickly.

Change the Report Title for XML Publisher, depending on the field value.

I want to change the Report Title as below.
if the field_A='B' then the report title as it is defined in report defination
else the report title is 'XXX"
Please let me know whether it is possible, if yes please guide me. how can we do it.

You can't change the canvas at runtime. But you can put the scrollbar on a stacked canvas and then show or hide that stacked canvas on different canvases.

How to change position for items in shopping cart

I am creating shopping cart using flat file. But i am not able to change the position for items i.e. both items contain position as 0000000001.
Following are the item details of shopping cart which is created through portal. (from tcode BBP_PD)
Items:

Following are the item details of shopping cart which is created using flat file & BAPI BBP_PD_SC_CREATE.(from tcode BBP_PD)

Position is not getting changed for item 2 & only first record is getting uploaded 2 times. My code is creating Shopping cart number .

for 1210326 's requirements there are some places for changes of property "title" and in some pages "title" can be different
"one place or option for changing" does not exist imho ( may be i'm wrong )
so you can change places for your needs but not sure what it's adequate

- Showing list in popup with ALV-Grid
- SET HANDLER handle_double_click
- Function ALINK_DOCUMETS_DISPLAY_MIX for viewing selected document on popup

Changing Chart Legend Title

How do I change a legend title? I created a bar chart using the chart wizard, and the legend title was taken from the name of the column appearing on the Y-axis. I changed the axis label, but this change was not propagated to the legend title. Is there anyway to change the legend title, either directly or through PL/SQL?

Oracle Graphics allows for the direct access to any object within a Chart via PL/SQL. This can be done either through a number of built-ins or even by traversing the Chart's Object Heirarchy (VGS tree) By getting the handle to the label object it is possible to directly change the text. The Reports Team is correct in that it cannot be done directly from within the Reports Builder (though may be passed as a parameter at run time). Instead create an OPEN_DISPLAY trigger in the Oracle Graphics Builder for the OGD which takes the desired text as a parameter.
There are examples of getting the handle to a chart opject in the demos & documentation.

Changing the Chart Title in Graphic View in Interactive demand Planning

Hi All,
Is it possible to change the Chart title in Graphic View in interactive demand planning screen.
When we go to interactive planning after loading the data we go to Univariate forecast then switch to graphic, the chart title shows the selection at which the planning is done. For eg; If I plan at die level and i select a particular sap material, the chart title displays Die value and not the material value.
Is it possible to change the chart title such that it displays all the selections made in selection winodw, like in the above case both Die value as well as SAP Material Number.

unfortunately this is not possible.
The chart title is build from the planning book name + the Show characteristic in the shuffler (+ available nav. attributes of the Show char).
The functionality you requested doesn't exist in standard.

How to undo a batch change of all titles in iPhoto

I accidentally secected all of my photos thinking I was in an album and batch changed all 30,000 photos titles to the same tilte. I had to forse quit due to the unstopable spinning ball. I'm about to cry but hope someone can help me... Mr. Old Toad???? Where are you??? I saw an old post from 2008 but I have iPhotop 11, version 9.2.3 and I'm on OS 10.7.4 So maybe things have changed???
I have a time machine back up from a month or so ago and also a second computer that was last updated about that time and synced with my MacBook Pro (which is where the problem exists) I have during that time started using photo stream so I could find all the pictures I've resently taken there.
So maybe the library6.iPhoto option works???? How is that done again?

Try typeing Command+Z to undo. It might work if you haven't done anything since making that global change.
Otherwise, use the same Batch Change and use Title to File Name. That will get you back to the original file name in the title field that was there after importing.

Images change position and dimension after client edits on admin console!

Hi,
1. After my client uploaded his images onto the site using the admin console they changed position slightly and did not fit exactually into the image frames i had set when i first made the site.
2. When i opened the site on muse and merged changes the images positions and dimensions changed even more than what was being diplayed on the live site? (E.g I originally had two columns of square thumbnails for some slideshows and now i have a single column of rectangle images)
3. I republished to see what would happen it now displays the way it was diplaying in Muse. The site is: www.jacobbuckland.co.uk
My understanding was that when i create an image frame or gallery in muse that any image uploaded via the admin console should fill that frame no matter what the size or dimensions of that image?

Our technical team managed to find the immediate cause for the problem, and a solution.
According to them there was a corruption on a speciffic OLAP file. By deleting it, they allowed it to be recreated on the next application processing. The file in question was found in \Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.2\OLAP\Data\UGF.0.db\<APPLICATION>.38.cub.xml
Where <APPLICATION> is the name of the problematic cube.
After that everything is working.

importing it from One instance to another instance.
Ex: My application title is WATERFALL PORTAL in iWATERFALL instance ,it must be changed to PUAT PORTAL if im Importing it to PUAT instance.
This change has to be done Dynamically. Without Entering it Manually.

The "APEX instance" does not have a specific name property, and would therefore usually be referred to using the database name. Or do you mean the APEX workspace containing the application?

It's normal for the icons at the top level of the startup disk to revert to the same arrangement every time the Finder is relaunched. If it's important to you to arrange those icons in a persistent way, proceed as follows.
Back up all data.
Open the Info window on the startup disk (labeled "Macintosh HD" unless you gave it another name.) Click the lock icon in the lower right corner of the dialog and authenticate.
In the Sharing & Permissions section, click the plus-sign button to add an entry to the access list. Give yourself "Read and Write" access. This will be a temporary change. Leave the dialog open.
Open the Finder window and arrange the icons as you wish, then close the window.
In the Info dialog, use the minus-sign button to delete the entry you just added to the access list. Don't change anything else. When you're done, it should be the same as when you started. Close the Info dialog.
