Changing preview panel transparency background in Adobe Bridge CC

Can the background color showing transparency in the Adobe Bridge CC preview panel be changed from the default black to white?

Can't get Transparent background in Adobe Flash Professional CS4

I'm wanting to create a moving object that will be exported into a tv commercial.
Object has already been created in Adobe Illustrator, and now will be dropped into flash for adding movement.
The destination commercial will be created in Sony Vegas, with the settings of (Australian) PAL television (25 fps, 576x720 pixels, lower field first).
Thus keeping it simple, I want to set Adobe flash with the same output format, meaning that the canvas will have to be 576x720 pixels at 25 fps. So far this seems to have worked okay.
Now I'm wanting to get rid of the canvas colour, just like I have here in this photoshop screen shot.
Judging by the colour palette in Flash Professional, it looks like it can't be done. I've checked "transparent palette" through yahoo and google, and had no results. The adobe documentation only details how to remove a background in Photoshop.
Can someone please inform me how to get transparent background in Adobe Flash Professional CS4. Thanks

As far as I know there is no option to set up a file with a transparent background in design mode. A transparent background is normally realized in the embedding code of an html web page that displays the Flash file (using wmode="transparent" as a parameter).

Thumbnail previews have transparent backgrounds-NO!!!!!!

In our workflow with Photoshop cc we need to save images as EPS files, all thumbnail previews have transparent backgrounds and the image is distorted. any way to get a thumbnail preview like you do when saved as a tiff???

Nice I did not come here for a smart *** comment, when the OS was upgraded and we switched to CC it started doing this.
Lets be helpful not rude. Oh and I know what an eps file is, been in the graphic arts industry for 20 years.

Bridge CS4: Changing preview window's background color

How can I change the preview window's background color? (default is black) It happens that I have some black images with alpha (transparent background) and being all black they blend with the preview window's background color. can this be changed?? I looked everywhere and the only thing I found is how to change bridge's appearance, but not the preview window's bg color. Thanx in advance

Try changing the thumbnail style to HQ or ?, and see if that makes any difference. In Quick thumbs it may not display layers.

Change background in Adobe Bridge Web Gallery

Hi,
I am trying to use a web gallery created with adobe bridge in my webpage. I have inserted gallery in an <iframe>. The gallery shows up just fine. I would like to have the background of the webpage show up rather than the background of the web gallery. How can I do this? Also, I would like to change the appearance of the captions under the pictures. Also the gallery shifts left in interbet explorer. Can this be fixed?

Try opening in Chrome or Firefox and inspecting the elements. You can turn easily locate the CSS that's driving the background and experiment with settings. You get there by right clicking on an element and select Inspect Element from the options. It's much easier than trying to go through all of that HTML code without a style sheet to go along with it.

Can I change the location of files in Adobe Bridge

I have a small SSD for my program files. Adobe Bridge is usingit to store image data and I believe backups of the images. Can I agjust the locaion of these files?

You can go to Bridge preferences cache section and inhere you can select another location for your Central Cache file which store all previews (and can grow very large indeed).
However if you have the option to build another SSD internal this is preferred above external and normal disks. A fast reading and writing disk with a fast connection will speed up your workflow

Transparent backgrounds on Adobe Ideas?

How can I leave a transparent background on an Adobe Ideas file so I can save it on PNG?

Images with transparent backgrounds currently cannot be exported from Ideas. A (very roundabout) workaround would be to send the file via email to yourself or sync the file to your Creative Cloud account. Open the resulting file (either the one in your email or the one from your Creative Cloud account) on your desktop with Adobe Illustrator, then export as a PNG.

Full screen playback for me plays the same as the thumbnail version. Win7 64 bit 8 gigs RAM, ATI video card 1g Vram.
Your video card and computer may not be advanced enough for playback in Bridge.
Bridge is intended to be a browser for photoshop which is primarily a picture ediditing program. My experience is that a program that does it "all" does not do everything as well as individual programs built to do a specific job..
There are lots of video playback programs, my favorite is a the free VCL media player. I just double click on the Bridge thumbnail and it opens in VCL as that is default player.

How do I invert colours on an EPS file with a transparent background in Adobe InDesign CS6?

I have a black and white EPS logo which I would like to be transparent and white to put on a different colour background? (I do also have a JPEG version of the logo too if that makes any difference)?

Preview folder content in Adobe Bridge?

I was just wondering if there was anyway to preview a folders content in Adobe Bridge without opening up the folder... i.e. picture(s) showing on the folder icon itself.

There is a workaround that is kind of labor intensive. Involves using putting images on the folder page then putting them in a stack with folder.

How to change white background with text to transparent background

Good afternoon,
I have a jpg file (part of our logo) white background with black text and I would like to change it to transparent background and keep the black text (to be able to insert it on a cup image).
I tried to change it in photoshop, however, when I slide the "opacity" and "fill", the text got ligther as well.
Do I need to have the original psd.file to be able to do that, or can you please lead me through with jpg file? (I tried to save the jpg to psd and png, but it did not help.)
I looked on one of your videos, but I could not find one of the features under "Select" tab.
My plan is to recreate the text to have the transparent background if necessary (It would be great if I can avoid that). However, how do I find out which font was originaly used? Does photoshop has this feature, or do I need to go trough each of the font one-by-one?
My last question is, how do I change space between letters (to have them more tight. I am not able to find it.

If you can get teh original PSD file get it, your task will be a lot easier.
I suspect that won't be an option to you.
If you know what fonts are being used, that also would be of benefit to you. In other word remake it using your image as a template.
If it going over an image, then a multiply blend might work for you.
All that fails then you are down to removing the white background. The problem this option is it will not look as good due to the thin lines on the fonts. But essentially, Load the image into photoshop, make sure the layer isnt locked, then try the magic eraser tool on the white background, bam it'll disappear, but leave the white inside the O white you will have to do seperately.
Messing with levels will help you with more of the white. Myself i'd rebuild it using the fonts.

Preview what a background 'Image Repeat' will look like?

I want to preview some website background images that I have which are 1 pixel wide without having to upload to the website and refresh the page. Is there a way to preview images repeating in either Adobe Bridge or Adobe Photoshop or any product in the Adobe Creative Cloud for that matter without having to upload to the website and refresh the page? I would ideally like to scroll through the images and have it simulate the repeat horizontal style.

Not sure that is what I'm looking for.
I have over 2000 different gradients for website backgrounds that I just want to scroll through to pick the one I want but I need the image to repeat horizontally so that I can see it because it's only 1 pixel wide ...
Ideally, I would like to just be able to hit my arrow key down and down and down and preview what the background would look like super quickly so I can pick the one I like best.

Is there any way to make background of placed swf transparent in interactive pdf?
I know tak I can make background transparent in Acrobat after exporting but I have many placed swf.
Maybe some Java Scripoting in Acrobat? Every sugestion is valuable for me...
By the way - why Adobe could not put a small switch in Media Panel: "transparent background"?

Using PNG files with transparent background - Please Help

I just purchased Elements to do a very specific task which I can’t do in Aperture. I am a former photoshopper (V.5) and excited to be back.
I am doing a book/scrapbook and the majority of my text will be my own handwriting. I use white paper and black ink and I scan in at the highest settings. My goal is to create my handwriting on a transparent background so I can place it in my book as I choose. For this specific project (which is very large in scope) I wanted to keep my image/file management within Aperture.
So I import my file (of my handwriting) from Aperture and successfully saved with a transparent background. Adobe said I had to save it as a PNG file. I noticed when I saved in Photoshop there was a warning saying I had to save as a copy.
Aperture does not see the file when I try to import it back. My interchange between aperture and photoshop is fine otherwise. This problem only seems to be with “unflattened” layered images. When I flatten the image it is recognized by Aperture, but I lose the transparent background in Photoshop.
If anyone sees flaws here or has a suggestion to “isolate” and save my personal handwriting image files I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Would probably work best if you first export from Aperture as PSD (if possible, like Lightroom) and then save to preserve layers.
From the PSD save as PNG24 rather than PNG8 which is better for preserving transparency.
