Changing print font in mac mail

How do I change the print font in mac mail? Changing it on the screen makes no difference at all

Is there a way to add styles to that menu, so can do the following?
Format > Styles > My Custom Style 1
Format > Styles > My Custom Style 2
and maybe even assign key shortcuts to the above selections?
Thanks,
Jeff

  • How do i change the font color in mail message

I am trying to change the Font colour in Mail message to Blue as a permanent preference in Mail - Preferences. The system does not accept the settings and goes back to black. Is there a way to change the same.

The color of the font is determined by the recipient's email client. So you could change it, but it would depend on the recipient's settings.
And besides, blue is harder to read.

  • How do i change date format in mac mail?

how do i change the date format in mac mail?

I just had this problem and I already was using "classic layout".
I went back to mac mail and at the top, it says, MAIL, FILE, EDIT, VIEW (etc). In VIEW, in the drop down, one of the options is ORGANIZE BY CONVERSATION ..I saw that mine was CHECKED.
I unchecked it and now all the emails are fine again, showing one by one, as opposed to all my emails from one client getting lumped together.

    Hi ,
In classical reports using write statement you cannot change the font , but in case you want to do it then you will have to display the outout using objects .
Please refer to the program DD_STYLE_TABLE for more info.

  • Fonts in Mac Mail

I can't get mac mail to retain my selected font settings in new messages I compose. I can select font settings while composing a message but it reverts to the default settings for any subsequent emails.

I have noted the same problem, as has a buddy of mine. Lets say you wanted and chose Helvetica Bold 14 pt as your message body font in the Preferences window, Fonts menu. No matter what we do in either of our Mail programs, when you create a new message it uses a 12pt plain (not bold) text. I am at a loss as to what to do except phone Apple.

  • Can't change printing font at Entourage

I don't know why but I can change the font for printing out emails from Entourage. I have tried to change the printed font in the perferences menu and used diff fonts and sizes, but no effect at all...
    Any idea ?

If a received or sent message was composed in HTML, have you tried changing the message to Plain Text first?
When you print a note or an HTML-format message, Microsoft Entourage uses the font and font size specified in the item, not the default settings you choose in the Preferences dialog box.
Plain text messages print in the font and font size that you specify in the Preferences dialog box, regardless of how they appear on your screen.

  • How to remove the mac mail Ying/yang icon on letters when printing

Whenever I print emails from Mac Mail 5.2  (OS 10.7.4) there is a symbol at the top right (I assume it is a Ying/Yang symbol).
How to I remove it?  It's wasting ink.

I don't know of a way to remove it, but it should be possible to replace it with an all-white image.  You'd first need to make, or acquire, such an image, then follow teh instructions in the Mac's help (I'm using 10.7.4):
    "Create a custom picture
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Users & Groups.Open Users & Groups preferences
Select your account, click the account picture, and then click Edit Picture.
    Do one of the following:
To use an image file, click Choose, select the file, and then click Open.
To take a picture with your computer’s built-in camera, click the camera button. After a countdown of three seconds, the camera takes your picture.
Drag the slider to change the size of the picture, and drag the picture to change which part of the image appears.
To save the picture, click Set."
    Good luck

  • Junk and Trash mailboxes from Gmail disappeared on Mac Mail--any ideas?

Junk and Trash mailboxes from Gmail disappeared on Mac Mail--any ideas?
Under Mailboxes in Mac Mail, I used to see Inbox (along with sub-Inboxes for each account, all of which are still there), VIPs (still there), Sent (still there), Drafts, Junk and Trash, all of which are missing, without me making ANY changes anywhere, either on Mac Mail or Gmail.
Any ideas ... or other people experiencing same issue?  (Happened in my wife's account and I just assumed the kids deleted something, but then I went to my account where the kids never are and I found the same issue.)

Do you mean that they are not listed under Gmail's header at the bottom of the Mailbox List or that they don't exist in the Unified Mailboxes at the top?
If they are not in the unified mailboxes, check down under Gmail and vice versa. If they are at the bottom under Gmail, select each separately and go to the Use Mailbox for command in the Mailbox menu. Set each one to what they are supposed to be, ie Trash, Junk, Sent, Drafts.
If they don't appear anywhere, log into Google's email website, go to Settings, click on the Labels tab and make sure those mailboxes are set to show in IMAP.
Finally, if they are IMAP accounts, just delete the accounts from Mail then re-add them. If you have a lot of email, it will take a while to synchronize, but it should recover those foldrs. If you are using POP, I'm not exactly sure how to save the old email, but I would assume Google is already doing that for you.

  • Mac Mail HTML Stationery - Image Drop

    Hello,
I'm hoping someone who has a bit of experience developing Mac Mail Stationery templates might be able to help me. I have created my own template based off of a copy of an existing template and am running into some issues, particularly with 'Drag and Drop' images. I have a placeholder within the template that can be changed as appropriate within Mac Mail (by just dragging the image in.) My problem is that I cannot figure out how (or what) controls the scaling of this object. The images that I have tested (that range in size) seem to crop off and do not rescale to the size of the mask. Is there a way to control how these images drag in or make them scale to the best fit of a bounding box? I can't figure out how or what the images scale to and am not very familiar with the variables involved here. Is this something that is impossible to do? ANY advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if I can provide any additional information.
    Thank you!

My HTML / CSS skills are pretty limiting but if there are any resources out there that someone can recommend that address this, please let me know. I copied one of Apple's html templates and then resized & redesigned as needed. The html code is listed below. I also listed the file called 'description.plist' which seems to control the dimensions of my drop space view (but not the size). Please let me know if you were looking for something different.
