i am in singapore and i previously changed my apple information to that of a US address so that i could make use of my apple gift cards. however, i would like to stop using the gift cards and change my address back to a singapore address but i am unable to do so because they say i have to finish my credit of 40cents. but i cant buy anything on the appstore for 40cents.
furthermore, i just bought the ipod touch 4th gen .. which i want to register but if i register under this account, the warranty will only be valid in US right? Does anyone know how to change region/ country even with a remaining credit balance? I am willing to forfeit the money. I just want to change it once and for all. thanks..

As long as you have a form of payment (credit or debit card) with a USA source, and with a billing address in the USA, then you just need to change your payment information on your account to that, change your country in the store settings, and you will then be able to shop in the USA store.
Your AppleID will work in any country's store, as long as your payment source and billing addres are also specific to that country (and you are in that country as well, as there may be IP filters in place to stop use outside of the country).

Just was created with my same hotmail account and i am using it since then..... (4 or 3 years ago).
This account is from US.
But each time that i try to change to a peruvian account to enter itunes.... and maybe get a purchaise... it says that i am not allowed!!!
And i want to cancel the money i have in the "ghost account" that i've never purchaise... and set a new one with $0.00 !!! to start to used it....!!!!

OK...now I appear to 'progressed' I changed my email address back to original on Apple id and then was able to delete icloud account. Apparently I couldnt do it as it kept requesting password when I entered passsword ( both old and new one, it wouldnt accept it as it had my old email address in ) It didnt do that on ios6 . Anyway I deleted account, but now I tried to login in with my new id/password and it says unable as already in use!!! More help needed please! Its a nightmare!!

Welcome to the Apple community.
Once you have created a rescue address, you cannot delete it, nor can you change it to the same address as used by your ID. There are numerous providers you can get additional email addresses from, such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Google etc etc.

Nope. You can only have one credit card attached to an account at a time. Its not that big of a deal to use two accounts, users do this all the time. Create the second account(UK Account) in iTunes on your computer...sign out of your Italian account first. Then authorize your computer for this new account: Store>Authorize this computer. Then sync your phone. Now, to switch accounts on your phone: Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...then sign back in with the ID you want to use.

Open Settings -> Store
Tap on the Apple ID shown and sign out. Then sign in with your own Apple ID.
