I downloaded the Adobe Digital Editions and it wouldn`t allow me to use one of my email addresses beause it was already registered with Adobe for other products. I changed the email to another account and registered the ID okay. Now the problem is I can`t add anything to the ereader beause it is not the same email address. How do I change, if I can, the current email address to the the one it ought to be

You would have to delete the existing iCloud account and create a wholly new one - you cannot change the @icloud.com email address of the one you already have. To make a new one, you will also need an new AppleID as any AppleID can only have one iCloud account associated with it.
Deleting the account will not delete anything off your device (if prompted for things like contacts, choose to keep them). You will have to sync everything anew with the new account as you cannot move your sync'd content, your old backups or anything else from one iCloud account to another. You will have to set up sync again and let it sync to the new account, and then make new backups to the new account as well.

How can I change my registered email address?

My ARD is registered to an old email address. Is there any way for me to change the email address that ARD is registered to so I can update it using Software Update? It refuses to update because I have to login with my Apple ID and ARD is not tied to it. It used to always work and update fine until the latest OSX 10.10 where even ARD is assigned to an email address.

You may change your Apple ID to any email address that is not already used as another Apple ID, or that is not already associated with another Apple ID.
In other words, if I have an Apple ID [email protected], and have alternate email addresses of [email protected] and [email protected], none of them may be used by me or anyone else for an Apple ID, Rescue Email, alternate email, or anything Apple-related.
If the Apple ID link above indicates your email is already in use then it is. Use https://iforgot.apple.com, select Forgot your Apple ID? and provide the information requested. If the email address is one you created and can still access, you may be able to retrieve it. If it is one someone else created, you will not.

I am trying to change the email address associated with my existing account to free up my university email address for use in obtaining Creative Cloud. Every time I go to the account settings of my existing account (which currently uses my university email, as I set it up years ago and had no idea it'd eventually cause problems), I enter a different email to use for that account but I continuously receive an error message saying "account changes cannot be saved." It makes me think that it's because the email isn't verified (funny, it actually is verified since it has been the alternate email on the old account for years), but when I click the "send verification email" nothing happens (that is, no email is sent to that other email address).
Anyway, my university is now requiring that faculty create new accounts using our university email addresses in order to register/use Creative Cloud. Am I able to delete my old account, or can anyone help me actually change the email address associated with my old account without getting a "changes can't be saved" error?

My registered email address is an aol account I am being asked to verify my itunes account by clicking on a link they have sent to me aol email address but when i went to log on aol tell me my email account has been deleted. Pants! No getting away from it, this is absolute pants!
I've tried registering for a new account, using my existing username but to no avail. So I suppose I've got to create a new username, etc. I'm getting too old for remembering all my username/password combinations as it is, without having to invent new ones because of a poor design. You people should be setting the standard when it comes to things like this.
Also, no wonder there are so many security holes caused by people using the same username &/or passwords across multiple accounts if they have to create a new user account when they only want to change their email address.
Oracle - your design for this OTN membership scheme is poor & its not helping security. Fix it quickly, fix it now.

If you can still access your account, please change your password if you have not already done so. Also change the registered e-mail address to another e-mail address. I recommend in such circumstances to change the passwords of the e-mail accounts as well.
Skype does not permit accounts to be deleted once they are created; you can abandon the account. More information on this, here: 'Can I delete my Skype account?'
Most of these hacks seem to be rooted in cracked passwords or malware. Please also run your preferred anti-virus/malware/spyware software using the latest virus signature files, and ensure your computer/device is fully updated as well. Skype would also strongly recommend only using the most recent version.

Hello! I want some help. I didn't change my email address at Skype options in registered email address which was example @ hotmail.com. This email address has change to example @ outlook.com now. I forgot my Skype's password and I want to retrieve it. So to do this it takes me to this page

I am new to the FF help forum and I can't find an appropriate place to post this. How do I change the email address associated with my FF help forum registration? I tried to use my personal email address but somehow it says it's already registered - but it won't give me the userid. If you are logged on to the SUMO site then you should see a "Welcome, ffuserX" message in the side bar at the right with a link to go to your profile.<br />
Click the "Edit My Profile" button and you have a "Change" button next to your current email address.
