Changing Slideshow Order

I have created a slideshow on my Muse site but my photos are showing in reverse order. On my Layers panel under Slideshow, I rearranged my photos in the order that I want them to display (see picture)...
The first picture that should show in my slideshow when I preview it is front.jpg and the last photo should be back.jpg. However my autoplay slideshow is displaying back.jpg first, then backdeck.jpg second, centralbath.jpg third and so on... with front.jpg being the last photo being showed in my slideshow. The only way to correct this is by enabling Thumbnails (where they show in the incorrect, backwards order) and manually dragging and dropping each individual picture one at a time to its correct order. Why are the thumbnails showing in the reverse order from how they are listed in the Layers window and furthermore, why isn't there a way to reverse the order of the thumbnails instead of dragging each picture one at a time? It's not a big deal to manually drag to the correct order if it's only a few pictures but each of my slideshows are sometimes 30+ pics. And why do I have to fix this in the Thumbnail view, especially if I am not using thumbnails in my slideshow? Many thanks for the help!

The slideshow renders in a sequence with which images were added in the Slideshow widget and it has nothing to do with the sequence in the layers panel.
Changing the sequence by enabling the thumbnails is the only workaround for this.

Slideshows order changed

Is there any way to reverse the order of the slides?? I created a slideshows in iphoto 08, and I don't know what I did, but I changed the order of the slides, they are in the correct sequence, but it starts with the last slide.
This is my first macbook, so I am kind of lost, I just don't want to do it all over again for the 180 slides!!!

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Yes there is. In the slideshow mode select all of the photos in the thumbnail tray at the top - Shift-click on the first and last photo in the tray. Then put the cursor on the end photo and drag it to the far left/beginning of the tray. That will reverse the order.

Can I change the order of photos in Events

I am in the process of scanning my old film photos so that I can put them into iPhoto. As I have no scanner I take them to Wal Mart and scan them onto a CD then import them into iPhoto at home. Because the CD holds the photos from a number of events I then distribute them to a number of different Event folders.
Once I get all the photos into their correct Event folders I would like to rearrange their order. Using drag and drop, or cut and paste, simply leaves the photo in it's original location. If I use the 'Moving photos from one event to another' feature the moved photos will still go into the new Event folder in the same order as they were in the originating folder, regardless of what order I drag or paste them.
The help menu has topics on how to change the order of photos in a slideshow, book or calender, but not an event. I could arrange the photos beforehand so that they are scanned in the order in which I want them to appear in Events, but with 500+ photos in completely random order it will be fairly time consuming. It also will not help with the disc of photos I have already made.
So, to finally get to my question, does anybody know if there is a way to rearrange the order of photos within an Event folder?

Events are strictly time based. If you put those photos in an album and in the order you want, you can set their date and time by using the PHotos->Batch Change->Date and set the date and time you want with the checkbox to add the time differential you'd like between photos. That will reorder them in the Event also.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.≤br>
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

Open the album. Tap select. Hold your finger on the photo till it enlarges then slide it to it's new position. Tap done when you're finished.

When uploading pictures from a pc through iTunes it mixes up the order of the pictures ( although they were created one after another with continous numbers in the name of the files) . And in iPad you do not have the ability to change the order of the pictures for a slideshow , or to move the pictures within the album... Why? Is there a way to control that?

Changing Slide Order

I have created a slideshow by simply flagging the key photos and using the created 'flagged' event as my show. This is for a talk so I don't want to automate the projection via the Slideshow software because the duration of each projection will change according to questions etc and I need full photo on the screen. Or is there a way of using the slideshow whereby the slide changes only by a mouse-click or, better, via the remote sender?
How do I change the order of the photos in the flagged event?
Dragging doesn't work and the 'sort' menu has the 'manual' option greyed out.

Make an Album of the flagged pics, then you'll be able to sort them.
Set each slide to stay onscreen for - say 60 minutes - then they'll move as you tap the next arrow.

Try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists. If it does not then the problem lies with your original library.
If that's the case try the following on your original library:
If you have the space available on your hard drive and don't aready have a backup copy of the library make a temporary, backup copy (select the library and type Commadn+D) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Tables:

 CURRENCY.

Changing the order for printing portfolio files in adobe acrobat 9 pro

Does anyone know how to change the order for printing pdf files that are part of a portfolio in adobe acrobat 9 pro? The documentation seems to say that it prints files alphabetically by filename rather than by the internal sort order. This won't work for me. Any ideas? Thanks.

I copied a smart playlist to a regular playlist in order to change the order of the individual selections. I then burned the regular playlist to a cd, but the cd burned it in alphabetical order as it appears on the smart playlist.

I changed the order, then burned a cd but the cd copied the songs in the order of the smart playlist, which was alphabetical. What am i doing wrong in this scenario, and is there a way to change the song order in a smart playlist? I am a new MAC user. Is this unique to the MAC format?

I'm trying to figure out a way to make a playlist of songs I generally like from a very large library to fit on my iPod. The songs aren't rated, and I don't want to have a totally random selection chosen by a smart playlist.
I usually make two playlists.
One playlist with favorites I do want on the iPod and another smart playlist to fill the rest of the iPod. Just limit the size to th esize of the iPod minus wthe size of my iPod selection playlist.

How do I change the order of the fields in my pdf form?

I am using pdf. form I made in Acrobat and distributing with Adobe FormsCentral. We use a table format for our teachers to fill out their field trip schedules and therefore use many different fields.
How can I change the order of the fields (not for tabbing, we figured that out)...so that when we receive our notification email, I can see the inforamtion in a specific order (Date, Time, School, Program, etc).
We would also like this same order to appear in the "View Responses" table. I know you can drag and drop the order in the table but we have over 100 fields and that is going to take a really long time.

What do you mean by the "order they appear in the pdf structure"? What is the "Pdf structure"?
thank you for your help... this is really upsetting, as I thought we finally found a solution with Adobe Forms : (
We really need the fields to report back in a specific order and wouldn't have time to rearrange over 100 fields with every form that is submitted. We receive about 10-20 different forms a day (same form layout, just some of the fields will have to be prefilled depending on school/teacher reservation... so we have to name each form a different name, for each school).
Thank you again and maybe one day they will change that. Is there anyway to set it up in the web verison of Adobe FormsCentral to look similar to the table we have created?

Suggestions have pointed me towards finding prefs.js file, but I can't find it (library/mozilla, libary/application support/mozilla not there nor in search function)
Tried with showing hidden files too.
Really a pain as I need the more active accounts on top opened but not enough room with less active accounts stuck in the middle.
No RSS feeds, local folders on bottom OK.

Changing report order using the break order property

I am trying to allow the user to pick the order of the report's data. This has lead me to ask the following questions:
How can the break order property of a Database Column be set at runtime, specifically in the Before Report program unit??? (changing the order BY clause in the SQL query will not be sufficient because report builder enforces that at least one column�s break order in each Group, other than the lowest one, must be set at design time)
How can the order of the Database Columns in a Group be re-arranged at runtime, specifically in the Before Report program unit???

I don't think that the "Break Order" property can be set programmatically, so it may not be possible to expose it to the users. I think it can only be an enhancement request to the product.

End User Transaction for Mass Change Sales Orders

Hello,
Transaction MASS can be used to change sales orders using object type BUS2032, however, end users are not allowed access to MASS.
In most other cases, the object types can be accessed by individual transactions, for example, MEMASSPO for BUS2012 and XD99 for KNA1.
But I cannot seem to find a similar transaction for object type BUS2032, does anyone know whether one exists or how to create such a shortcut.
