Changing sound in Patch Library loses the Parameter Mapping for my controls

I have an EVB3 Hammond patch and have made a mapped set of onscreen controls (Drawbars, Leslie, etc.)
But if I choose a new setting from the Patch Inspector's "Patch Library" all of these controls lose their mappings. Eg I choose "Lead Organ" instead of "Rock Organ".
However some of the controls that were in the original template (eg: a knob called "EVB3 Dist Tone") happily keep their link and also adjust their display for the new patch settings.
How can I keep my mapped controls from losing their link when I change a patch (within the patch). I'm not talking about separate patches in the left hand Mainstage window - this is just changing the sound within one patch using the patch library.

I agree. I have to assign up to 40 control settings each time I set up a new patch.
A thought; if you have enough spare controls & screen space, you could set up two instances of your Organ channel strip - each on a different MIDI channel & switch between the two in the same patch. A button could be assigned to mute one channel strip while switching the other one on.
It's probably no easier than setting up several patches & moving between them.

Sorry to be such a moron with this, but I just don't have much experience with this iPad. I have had it for over a year and I just keep adding stuff to it and it has worked great. Now that the memory is used up, I am trying to figure out how to free up space and not lose what I have paid for.
So, Step 1 is complete, as I have "Transferred" all of the purchases.
What is Step 2? I unchecked the concert on the iTunes library, did a sync, but it's still on my iPad.

I just noticed that I can no longer select photos out of my finder that are located in my Aperture/Iphoto Library. I used to be able to attach photos to my gmail out of the aperture library in the finder and for some reason, no longer can.

I can't access these images except to go into the applications.
Also, I'd like to import my iphoto library into aperture, and move aperture library to an external drive. I tried the import first, but there wasn't enough space. Then I tried copying over the aperture library onto the external drive but it failed bc it said file was in use.
As it is, I only have 50gb left on my imac, and the aperture library is 150gb. Also, I have over 10k images in both libraries combined and there are tons of duplicates that need to be sorted, and hopefully not messed up because I've organized most of them.
So in short, I need to know how to do the following:
-select photos in finder in aperture/iphoto libraries
-move aperture library to live on external drive
-import iphoto library into aperture library
-eliminate dups but maintain organization
-moving forward i need a better workflow so that I import images from camera, and can organize right away into albums rather than creating projects by default and then creating albums so essentially the photos are in 2 different places, even tho they are referenced
-live happily ever after

If you're using apps like iPhoto or Aperture then they replace the Finder for managing your photos. The point is that you use the (many) options available via these apps for the things you want and need to do with the Photos.
So, simply, you don't select the photos in the Finder. I'll append the supported ways to do this - which are faster and will yield the current version of your Photos - to the end of this post.

Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit Aperture
2. Copy the Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching Aperture. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
Referenced - relocate your Masters first.
These issues are covered in the Manual and on this forum hundreds of times.

You can't. Every photo is in a Project. They’re the basic building blocks of the Library.
You might want to spend a little time with the manual or the video tutorials. I'm not sure you've grasped the app you've purchased.
The following is written for iPhoto, but about 97% works for Aperture too.
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto/ APerture: You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics. This is what you use to attach your shot to your GMail
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps. If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto/ Aperture.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.

For users of 10.6 and later: You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation which will give you access to the Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.

Go to Apple Menu > App Store > View my account > sign in and then edit the payment details with the new card details.
I am assuming that your card and supporting bank are in the same country as your residential (billing) address and that you are using the App Store of that country.

When you are the Family Sharing organizer, purchases are billed to your account unless the family member making purchases has an iTunes Gift Card or iTunes credit on their account. The attached article has more information on how this process works.

What I may suggest in your situation would be to discontinue the Family Sharing and use iCloud calendar sharing. Using this method keeps your accounts separate but allows you to still share your calendar.

I have been advised by the SAP GoLiveCheck to set the parameter DIR_ORAHOME for my dialog instances. The Oracle home is currently on the central instance at G:\oracle\SID\102. What must the path for the parameter DIR_ORAHOME be set to on the dialog instance? (central_host\.....???))

The paraemeter must be the same as on the database server itself. Set the DIR_ORAHOME in the default profile.. that is the way we do it.

I need help in finding the Parameter values for passing a password to open a pdf(s)? The software is written in Delphi.

The Copy Protection only protects our Disk from being duplicated and also protects our Software from being copied and used locally.
As far as the password encryption, that is why I created the Post. I was hoping that the password can be coded in our Software to open the password protect PDF that we create. This option would of gave us the security for when the customer copies the pdf to there local drive they would be required to input the password which they would not have access to.

I recently purchased a universal dock for my iphone 3g. It works great. I just had one question. When my iphone is sitting on it for lets say 20 - 30 minutes. Then if i press the buttons on the remote. nothing happens! If I then press the home button while it is on the cradle then, the remote, it plays music. There after lets say if I stop stop the music through the remote and again press the remote button after a few minutes it starts playing. So what happens after a long time. Why do i have to press the home button on the iphone for the remote to work. Is that how it is supposed to work???

How to change 2 phones from synching to the same icloud for seperate users

My husband has an iphone 4 and I have the 4s. For some reaseon when he set the phones up, all of our information is backed up to the same icloud account, even though we both have seperate apple id's. Anytime we plug our phone(s) into the computer, the apps for his phone download to mine and vice versa. I keep getting a message that there is not enough storage for the icloud backup on my phoneand I know it is because both of our phones are synching to the same icloud account. How can I correct this?

it's possible that you're not actually using two seperate Apple ID's, but still use different emailaddresses to log in, meaning it's an alias for the same apple ID instead of seperate Apple ID's.
Go to appleid.apple.com and log in there. You'll see a primary emailaddress, wich is either yours or your husbands.
If you then scroll down, you'll see alternate emailaddresses, wich again, will contain either your or your husbands emailaddress.
If this is the case:
Remove the alternate emailaddress from that account and create a totally new Apple ID with the emailaddress you removed.
Although this is possible, i't not very likely. Are you getting his contacts/calendars and stuff too on your device ??
Apps can be synced to your device, regardless of icloud account settings btw...

Rajat has correctly explained your requirement.
Let me give you example.
say when the User opens your application it shows a page with one drop down which conatins some values and a button. So If you want to get the value selected by the user on click of the button, then you need to associate a action with the button(which you can define in action property of the button and it will automatically create the method and you can check it in the implementation tab). Now you can write the code for getting the value from drop down in this method. after getting the value you can do what ever logic you want to perform like inserting it into database etc.

What is the pin map for chip select on LM3S8962 for "ARM SPI Create Configuration Reference.vi" ? (0 through n)

Hello All,
When the LM3S8962 is the master, what pin is used when chip
select is the default (0), or another value ?
Despite this question being asked a few ways in the forums,
NI's "ARM SPI Create Configuration Reference.vi" documentation
for chip select is unclear.
TI's manual is no help for NI's implementation of chip select.
NI's help for the above subvi seems not only too generic (perhaps
written for the SDK ?), but erroneous in that it reads:
"chip select specifies the chip select line to assert during the
SPI transfer. The chip select line must connect to the EEPROM
on the
microcontroller. Refer to the documentation for the SPI
device for information
about chip select lines."
This is useless as the ARM microcontroller has no EEPROM and
the SPI slave device documentation only covers its own pins.
The hope is to have more than one slave on the LM3S8962's single SPI bus,
without chewing up a additional pin using elemental I/O like the splendid forum
examples for ADC's and DAC's. This would save diagram real estate compared
with two sequence frames that are typically shown toggling a elemental I/O digital
output before and after writing and/or reading from the slave. It also would clarify
what on chip resource trade offs there are for each chip select number chosen.
(as most pins have multiple possible functions)

How do i get to the actual map for Find my IPod

I am hearing lots about how amazing the Find My Ipod app is, but it's useless if I can't get to the map.
So i'm hoping someone can tell me how to view the actual map, not send me to different links that show you how to install or get the app for finding your IPod.

Firstly, FindMyiPod is not amazing. It only works in limited circumstances. In any case, to use it, first you have to turn it on in your iPod. To do this go to Settings > iCloud and switching On FindMyiPod. Then on your computer go to https://icloud.com, enter your userid and password and your iPod should be located on a map.
