Changing standard size of interactive image?

Hi, when I drag in an interactive image widget, is it possible to change the size of the widget itselve? Not the image that rests inside, but the widget. When the image is smaller than the widget, there is wasted space on the top and the at bottom, and I don't seem to be able to drag the corners of the widget around to the needed size.
Any help greatly appreciated.

From full edit use the menu:
File >> Save For Web
Select your format e.g. jpeg, PNG, GIF etc
You can then adjust the file size and quality (compression)
Before and aftrer images are displayed to enable you to compare the new file size with the original size.

Is there a way to change clip size without losing image quality? Specifically, from 568 x 320 to 1920 x 1080?

No, especially not video files. That's way too much scaling.

  • What is happening when I change the size of the image in the program sequence window?

I noticed that I can change the image size of my exported file. I imported a 720 x 480 DV file into CS5.5. I went to my program sequence window and changed the settings to show the smallest image in that window. I then clicked on the image and used the handles that appear to make that small image large enough to nearly fill the screen. When I exported my final file and played the resulting WMV, the image on my screen was nearly twice as large as it would have been if I had not previously altered the image size in the program sequence window. I had to do this alteration for each clip in my timeline, or the unaltered ones would stay at the smaller size. The quality did not seem to be significantly impaired. I learned about this on a youtube video. The person who did the video claimed that this was a simple and quick way to upgrade standard video to HD. Of course this is not true. He was only changing the size of the resulting video. Does anyone know what is really happing when you do this procedure and why it changes the size of the exported  video?

The size (resolution) of the exported video is not affected by anything you do while editing.  It is dependant solely on the resolution set in the export settings.
Ideally you want to edit in an sequence that matches your media\, which will be the same size or larger than the required export.  In other words, the same or smaller is OK.  Making things bigger in post is not the best option.  If you need things bigger, shoot them bigger.

  • How can I change the color of interactive image label box background.

Interactive image labels are a bit overwhelming in appearance. Can I change the label background color or make it partially transparent? I have tried several things and looked this up on Lynda.com training but no info.

don't know how much this might help but you can change some colors using the Inspector as follows:
from the text menu you can control paragraph and character colors, from the text menu you can control the text color.
    hope this helps...

    Hi,
you can do this in your style sheet.
Look for class .apexir_worksheet_data and change the font-size.

  • How do I change the size of the images in a slideshow?

I want to build a slideshow with images that are 150 pixels square, but Muse seems to keep a white space all around the photo. It's the same size as the dummy slide show that you start with when you first use the widget. The original images are built to 150 pixels square.
In preview mode, the big white space sometimes obscures other elements on the page and sometimes it seems to affect the position of the slide show.
I've tried all combinations of Fill Frame Proportionally and Fill Content Proportionally in all five types of slide show.
How do I get rid of the white space around the slideshow?

I figured out how to eliminate the problem I was having. I had the slide show on the front layer, so it obscured everything behind it, even elements that were in the white space around the slide. By sending the slide show to the back, the problem was solved.

  • How do I change the size of an image when exporting from photos?

In iPhoto I could create jpeg images of various sizes by exporting  a photo and selecting the quality of the image and the size of the file.  How do I do that in Photos?

In exactly the same way. File -> Export. If all those options are not visible, note the disclosure arrow, indicated below.

  • How much can I change the size of this image?

I want to print an image using an online sevice and the attached image shows the dimensions. I'm VERY new to Photoshop and want to know if I can just enter a larger size into the fields to print it at say, 8.5 x 11 and, if so, do I need to do anything else to prepare the image for this?
    Thanks!

Ditto what Noel mentions, but your quality of enlargement will depend as well on the native format of the image. For example, you would get a better enlargement result if your original file as a TIFF and not so good if you are working on a JPEG due to the lossy compression.
While getting to Letter size might be a challenge you might get a good print by resampling at between 150ppi and 200ppi but you would need to make some test prints to see what would be an acceptable image. At 150ppi you would get an image around 10"x6" and at 200ppi the image would be around 7.7" x4.6"
    Hope this helps
    Mike

  • How to change the size of the image view

I recently upgraded to CS5.1 from CS3. In CS3 there was an icon in the panel on the right side of the screen (I don't know the name of those panels) that had the option of zooming in on the image, and another icon for zooming out.
I can't find this capability in CS5... Could someone please tell me how to activate it?
    Thanks!

    Edit
Are you talking about Window > Navigator?
Other than that zooming with command-space-click-and-drag and the keyboard shortcuts are options.

Whenever I want to export an image it ends up being way too large. Is there any way to resize it to say 10mb or by pixels?

  • Can you change the size of the preview images on an Apple TV without changing video resolution?

I have a 32 inch LCD TV. My room is relatively large and I can't easily see the preview images or read the text on the TV across the room. Is it possible to change the size of preview images in the menu screens without increasing the resolution of the TV itself? I think this should be possible, but can't seem to find a way to do it.

No that's not something you can do on the Apple TV.
If you have any suggestions that you think might enhance the Apple TV you can send Apple your feedback here.

  • Changing size of the image

I am trying to change the size of an image using setPreferredSize(int width, int height)
The API says that if the size specified is less than the minimum width and height, the minimum width and height is used. But they have told that if the width and height specified is more than the minimum it would be accepted.
I wrote this program. I am using the heart image in this forum as the picture. But the size isn't getting changed. I am trying to scale the image.
Here is the code. I am using ImageItem.setPreferredSize( )

  • Adjusting the size of an image going into Photoshop from LR2

At the bottom of the Adobe Camera Raw converter, there is a box that allows you to either make the default RAW file smaller or larger as it goes into PS. In Lightroom 2, I found the Edit In command, and the options to change to 16 bit and the color profile picker, but I don't see a command to change the size of the image.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    M. Jackson

It's not there. It will only go into Photoshop at native resolution. Then it is one second work to scale it in Photoshop if you really need to.

  • How do I change pixel size?

How do I change pixel size?

Technically, you can't change the size of an image screen pixel. You can use resampling to change the number of pixels representing a current screen pixel (upsample means more pixels are used to represent a pixel, downsample means fewer).
You can change the size of an image pixel when it's printed by modifying the DPI (dots per inch). The bigger a pixel is, the fewer will fit in an inch, and vice versa.
