Changing standard SRM

Hi all,
Can anybody tell me what the best practice is for changing SAP standard BSPs in SRM?
The specific example is the adding of 2 fields to the 'Preselect Suppliers' screen (BSP app. ROS_PRESCREEN). These are SAP standard fields, already populated, I just need to display them on the relevant page fragment.
When doing this kind of change before, I have simply copied the BSP application and made the changes in the copy. This was fine in those cases as the BSPs were stand-alone (and small) and it was easy to config SAP to call the copy instead of the original.
ROS_PRESCREEN is a larger BSP so I don't really want to copy the whole thing. Can I just copy/amend the relevant view? How do I make SRM pick up the copy instead of the original?
I can find loads of information for doing this in CRM via the ICWC but nothing relating to SRM. Is the procedure the same? Is there a similar framework for SRM?

Before making any changes to the BSP application - ROS_PRESCREEN, I strongly recommend you to take a back-up copy of the same.

check OSS note 869197. to Configure BSP, refer note 895183.
When you are using the Internal ITS,you need not run the report W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES.(only SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INT )
ALso pls check the foll:
-->activate the services through SICF tcode.
> Go to SICF transaction and activate the whole tree under the node Deafult host>sap>bc>gui>sap>its.
>Also maintain the settings in SE80>utilities>settings>internet transactuon server-->test service/Publish.
Check in SICF for ROS_PRESCREEN service settings.
Do not give any language in logon settings. Check which all languages this service is available (you can see language field after 'Service name'). You can use this service in all those languages.

Changing HTML templates for Standard SRM screens!!!!!

Hello SRM gurus,
I have to modify the standard SRM PO screen. I have modified the screen and added the requirement tracking number field but on activation it gives me message to adapt the HTML template manually.
How to change HTML template assigned to the screen? Also what more needs to be done for the field to appear on the SRM portal?
I am not aware even of the transaction code to be used.

Hi,
You need not chnage the Standard SRM screen nor the HTML template to add a custom field in the PO sceen.
Please check these notes:

There is an additional note for req tracking no not available in SC but in your case you want the field in PO so wont be relevant.

The tcode for PO is BBP_POC.If you ever need to modify the HTML template for this screen/trascn,goto SE80.select Internet service as BBP_POC.There you can see all the HTNL templates and each of which corresponds to some screen in the trascn BBP_POC(PO trascn).

we are using SRM 7.01 and Standalone scenario
1.Please give me standard SRM SUS process Steps
2.If the SUS supplier cannot meet all the terms specified in the original PO, Supplier changes them (items, quantities, delivery date, and so on),what is the next step for Purchaser?
3.If Purchaser approve the changed POR we r getting Change PO. But it is not triggering again for PO Response ?is it standard ?
4.If Purchaser reject the changed POR we r not getting Change PO.is it standard ?
5.what are possibilities for Change PO creation in SRM for SUS?
6.How can Vendor submit Response again and again till both parties agree on the terms of the PO?what changes does need from Purchaser/Vendor?

How to change standard text in(me33k)?

How to change standard text in me33k (under Reference data : Dept/Proj Manager) field. I tried it changing in CMOD - under Goto in Text enhancements in Keywords then Change . I did this change and in table ekko-verkf I can see the change, but in me33k I cannot . Appreciate if anybody can reply back soon and help me solve this issue? points awarded for sure.

If u are talking about the text related to a Contract by (Trx ME33K --> Header --> Texts --> Text Overview).
Then u need to use the FM create_text and then put the import parameters as
Text Name     = (contract number)
Language       = EN
Text ID        = K00 Release order header text put K01 for first item text K02 for second item text so on
Text object    = EKKO       Purchasing doc. header texts
and then call bapi_transaction_commit
u ll be a ble to find the changes

Sorry, the font is not user selectable in Safari on iPad, like it might be on a desktop. You can change the font size, but not the actual font.

You can do that using the method i have mentioned in
my earlier post to change the descrptions. Mostly these
will be used for Product Attributes in Material Master
to give meaningful names as per our business. You can
find the same if you go through the documentation
following the below path
IMG -> Sales & Distribution -> System Modifications ->
Create New Fields( without Condition Technique).

Change standard price after executing CKMM for materials.

Dear all,
I faced a problem: right after MM period switching, I execute CKMM to switch 2 to 3 for some materials and after taht I changed standard price for these materials by releasing future price.
After material ledger closing (T-code CKMLCP), there is non-zero balance on account for price differences in FI report FAGLL03. This non zero balance occurs just for the materials, which standard price was changed.
Could you please explain me why this happens?

Hi Van,
The process follows: When Material Master in 3 (i.e) ML effect (when you release the std cost estimate "no Entry will post revaluation gain/loss" it will r evaluate @month end you do CKMLCP..with difference post to price difference.
Posting to re valuate inventory is non ML process.
Or can you test in testing server by changing std price with 3- no accounting doc will generate.

How to make Standard SRM fields as display fields on the screen

Hi,
I would like to make standards SRM field "PRODUCT ID" as the display field under the "BASIC DATA" tab.
Is there any way to control the standard SRM fields on the Basic data of the SC?
I have done it with custom fields with the BADI-BBP_CUF_BADI but it would not work for Standard SRM field.

OK here is the solution.
Create a Transaction variant via SHD0 Tcode
In the transaction screen variant make the field display only.
activate the transaction variant

Production order - change standard screen

Hi Gurus
Please advise.
User wants to use
Start Time (CAUFVD-GSUZP) and Finish Time (CAUFVD-GLUZP) on Production Order Creation screen (transaction CO01). In standard these fields are closed (only displayed as 24:00 for Finish time and 00:00 for Start Time).
If we open these fields (change standard screen) and enter the values - what are the impacts?

Standard SRM reports excluding SAP BI in the landscape.

Kindly give the standard SRM reports available other than SAP BI.
My system landscape doesw not have SAP BI. We are working in SRM 7.0 classic scenario and we dont have BI.
Is there are any standard reports available for SRM7.0.

Hi! Thanks for the reply. I am aware that these reports can be accessed from the GUI. However, they were also available on the browser in the previous versions but I cannot find them in SRM7, via the portal and hence the question whether they are no longer valid. At the moment, I can see one of those reports appearing under Reports but I encountered error running it.

BPM- Change Standard Monitoring Object

I have few queries in BPM:
1). How to change a standard Montior?
     For example, if I want to change Monitoring Object Sales Document (KPSD0001) and add New Keyfigure or add a new
     selection parameter (eg. Plant) for a keyfigure. How do I do this??
2) In which database table/Transaction can I see all the Standard Monitoring Objects available.
3) How can I copy a standard Monitoring Object into a Z Monitor and make the required Changes.

1)As Ragu mentioned, it is not possible to change standard monitoring
object. Code is already fixed to the selection parameter.
2)It is stored in special way in satellite system. (Cluster table).
So it is not easy to check it like via SE16.
You can get list of available monitoring object and key figure from
the list that is available in service market place.
(You need authorization to access service market place).

Launching standard SRM webdynpro from UWL

All,
I am trying to launch the standard SRM 7.0 Create Confirmation webdynpro WDA_L_FPM_OIF from the UWL. I have tried using SWFVISU to create the config but it does not offer enough parameters to be able to call WDA_L_FPM_OIF correctly. All documentation on this area seems to concentrate on calling bespoke webdynpros with only one or two parameters required. I have tried a number of versions of XML config but keep getting short dumps indicating problems with the parameters. I have checked the web dynpro and as far as I can see I am passing the parameters correctly. Please see XML extract below..
