Changing text colour affecting more than one text box

I am creating a word cloud in a shape as a design.
I want to use only 3 colours for the words randomly. Each word is in a seperate text box
I am finding however that when I change the colour of one word it automatically changes a few? I cant work out why?

What I've done in the past is
Find out how many characters per line.
Setup character style called VarLine 1, VarLine 2, VarLine 3 etc.
Set up a paragraph style for your text.
Go to the nested style.
VarLine 1 up to # characters
VarLine 2 up to # characters
VarLine 3 up to # characters
etc.
Set up your Variables for
Line 1
Line 2
Line 3
Then set each one to pick up the appropriate VarLine character style.
This works to a certain extent, it will need tweaking, as each application is different. I'm not sure if it will work in your case, but you never know.

Thanks. That tip definitely helps! You just have to be careful when you use the CNTRL button and not highlight the name of the slide as you try to highlight the voices. If you do that, then the drop down box becomes “unclickable”. Unfortunately, when using the control button, it is sometimes impossible not to highlight the name of the slide as well.

Using more than one BI box in portal environment????

Can we define only one BI system in the portal environment? If we want to define more than one BI boxes what should we do????

More than ones MAIL Boxes in Mail

Hi ALL,
After using Migration Assistant a couple of days ago I notice that in Mail application, in the right column my mail folders tripled. Al the Mail folders I had in Tiger ONES I have NOW 3 times. There is ONE folder called 'IMPORTED' with everything 3 times in it.
Can I just select the mail folders I have 3 times an trash them?
Also in the right column ALL of my e-mail accounts I have I can see as separated folders, in these account folders are ... again folders like draft, sent mail, in, etc ...
A other thing is to notice is that there are little white en blue folders mixed up in the right column.
I need a good reliable advice in this otherwise I louse ALL the mail I have.

i had a problem like this... i know others also who had this type of problem...
in my case, the messages appeared to be duplicated 2 or 3 times in the same mailbox... the mailbox count was more than double the expected number of messages... i checked the number of files in the actual mailbox directories for each mailbox in ~/library/mail/... each mail message is stored as a separate file in a directory with name of the mailbox... the file count matched the actual number of messages i had expected and not the inflated number that were appearing in the mail program...
using "rebuild" from mailbox menu caused mail to hang part way thru... after restarting mail the problem was worse, but the actual file count in the affected mailbox directory was still correct. in my case, i rebooted and retried it and the mail.app rebuilt mailbox successfully...
when this didn't fix the problem for the other's that i know, their solution was to move the mail directory out of ~/library/mail... always make sure mail is not running when moving anything in the ~/library/mail directory... after restarting mail, mail.app made a new, pristine ~/library/mail... then they quit mail and copied back the mailboxes from the old library/mail directory into the new ~/library/mail. afterward, starting mail, you will see mailboxes, but no messages in them. that is because the database file hasn't scanned the mailbox directory yet... use the mailbox/rebuild command on each mailbox... this effectively makes a new version of the database file that keep track of where each mail file is...
if it is any consolation, the 6 or 7 times i know of this happening was always around the time of importing and transferring mail from another program...
if your issue is that you have duplicated mailboxes, then do look inside ~/library/mail to see what is actually there... if the mailboxes are actually duplicates and have the same content, i'd expect you could remove the duplicates without problems...
i imagine there are other ways to deal with this...

How to change the columns in more than one playlist

I am trying to change the columns in my playlists for all of my audio books. I have over thirty books on my computer with a play list for every cd adding up to over 500 playlists inside of folders for each book. I want to change all of the play lists to have audiobook related columns only. I was wondering if there is any shortcuts besides going into every folder and every playlist and manually changing them all.
What I already know: Changing the view options of a folder containing a playlist or other folder doesn't change the view options of all containing folders and playlists.
Doug's Applescript "Assimilate view options" is for changing all of my playlists to match the view options as the library and I cannot change the library because I have over 1500 album playlists.
If anyone could tell me how to change that I would really appreciate the help

There is no need to delete/inactive those entres.
It is the funtionality provided by SAP to store the short texts for catalog in multiple languages.
If you go to QS42 transaction with another language key selected during login. You can find another language short text.

Changing a length of more than one audio file in same time

Hi! I'm searching a way to change a length of the several audio files at the same time (this applies to ads that will be broadcast at the radio. The sounds need to have same time accurate to milliseconds). Let's say I've got 20 audio ads, which were originally meant to have 30 seconds, but each of audio file has small differences reaching less than a second. I would like to do a one-off activity, that will change length of each file to equal 30.000 seconds. In a word, is there a way to stretch several audio files, which have different time, to the same length at a same time ?

I've got some AFI that shows up as A.F.I., and some AFI that shows up as AFI. There are a ton of songs with each spelling. Is there any way I can tell Itunes to convert A.F.I. to AFI?

Highlight all the ones you want to change. Right click - get info, then change the artist to what you want. Changes all of them

Having more than one mail box, how do I define which will be the one to send e-mails?

I have 5 mail boxes and always when I send an e-mail, it sends automatically from one that I don't use much. How do I change for my preferred e-mail?

Mail preferences under Compose tab. Set which account to send mail from, or set it to use the highlighted account.
You might also verify in Mail preferences under Accounts, that each account has it's own SMTP server. Be sure the correct one shows for each account. I would also check the box to use only that server for that account, which will insure that the correct server and only that server will be used for the account. Otherwise if the SMTP server for the sending account fails, it will just switch to another account's server.

Does BT support more than one Vision+ box in one h...

My teenage son was given a BT Vision+ box for Christmas for his own room. As a family we already have a BT vision box in the living room. But The new box seems to have 'taken over' the older box. All of our recordings disappear and reappear on the new box, we are unable to both watch 'on demand' at the same time as one locks the other out and it's generally causing mayhem! Does anyone have a solution that would help us both to watch and record our own programmes?

Unfortunately 2 boxes on the one line is an unsupported configuration. As you're finding it can be done, but there's weirdness. The problem is that things like the recordings list are kept on the server and synchronised with the box, so if there's 2 boxes this can all go a bit wrong.
There's no real fix which doesn't involve frequently fiddling around with cables behind the scenes, and since BT don't support the configuration they can't help you.

For apple tv 3, I"m using a hdmi convertor box to component and only get the apple symbol at first, then it disappears, tried more than one convertor box

Tried converting hdmi into component, two different converter boxes, one worked at first and then stopped. Any suggestions? I know the apple tv is working because I tested it on another tv using the hdmi cable to tv.

Some users with DVI have managed to get their TV's to work with DVI-HDMI cables. DVI carries no audio, so alternative connections need to be explored to enable audio. DVI doesn't necessarily support HDCP as well as other standards used by HDMI (which may or may not be an issue)

There are hardware converters that will convert HDMI to various other types of output, however there are some issues with doing so that you should be aware of.
HDCP
HDCP compliant converters will not allow you to watch HDCP protected content such as that from the iTunes Store. Non compliant converters exist but we cannot discuss them under the Terms of Use for these communities.
Resolution and aspect ratio
I'm not aware of any converters that will scale the output from the Apple TV, any TV or projector which is used will need to be widescreen and support resolutions of 720p (Apple TV 2), 720p/1080p (Apple TV 3)

Custom UIInput with more than one bean bound value

I'm creating a custom component which will act as a search bar (thus it will contain a text input area) and which contains a css dropdown menu from which the user will be able to select the type of search. In other words this component should have two value bindings, one for the search string and one for the selected search mode. I've managed to get the search working by extending UIInput and binding the search string to my component's value attribute, but I can't get the selected search mode to reflect in the bean. In my decode() method I retrieve the value from the post and it's correct and everything, but if I call the setter on my component that value is never propogated to the value binding and thus the bean.

If you ask user about which are their favourite fruits,
You can use checkbox for selecting.
If you ask user about their gender,
You can use radio button.
You can even use more than one combo boxes for displaying result.
Could you describe your requirement in detai? If we do not know your choice for selecting, you cannot suggest which

Using colorTrans:ColorTransform on more than one movie clip

Hi I am very new to Flash and action script so please bare with me...
I would like to be able to change the color of more than one movie clip in the same layer in the same frame. Basically I have place two different movie clips with defined instances,i.e. body and shoulder onto the canvas in one frame on the timeline.
I have created three different buttons (red_btn, blue_btn, and yellow_btn) to use to change the color of say the body or shoulder. I would use red and blue to change the body and say yellow and green to change the shoulders. These are also on the same layer and same frame on the timeline as the movie clips.
The problem I am having is how would I declare the two movies or variables to change independantly? Would I need to place one movie clip on one layer and then place the other on a different layer so that when I press the button I want i.e. the red button, it only changes the body and not the shoulders.

body here is my declared variable wich is the body of a shirt that is one movie clip. When you place both clips on the timeline ontop of each other, you basically get a shirt with different color shoulders and body.
I need some help to know if this is possible first of all, and then what would be the best way to delcare the variables in one actionsript.
