Changing the banner on the bubble in UPK

Hello everyone,
Within UPK, you can change the bubble background and text with going to: Options>Bubble and making the modifications.
But does anyone know how to change the blue banner that says "Try It" "Know It" etc?
I hope I am clear.

You most certainly can make changes to the colours. I assume that you are referring to the "Try It", "Know It" banner when you click on the play.exe file?
To make the changes, navigate to the following within your UPK library:
1. System --> Publishing --> Styles --> <content> --> Player
2. Double click on Player, and you should see a number of files.
3. Navigate to the Skin.css file and open it.
4. The properties .navCellOff and .navCellOn defines what colours the buttons are. Change these values as required.
5. Save the change in the text editor.
6. Press the save button in UPK.
7. Publish topic to see changes.
8. Access play.exe and you will see the changes. I hope this is what you are looking for.
Also, have a look at the Content Development manual provided with UPK - spcifically the section "Customize Player Mode Buttons" on page 362 of the document.

If you are having trouble reading your texts you can increase the font size until it becomes clear. Put in a feature request for the colour change though, it won't happen unless people ask for it.

Changing the banner ....

How can I change the banner in the pages like :
- the page behind the link 'customize' where i can add portlet, and so on ...
- the page behind the 'customize' link in the Favorites portlet where i can add favorites, create group of favorites..
In particular how can i change the logo displayed without changing the physical image in the portal30/images directory.
I would like to change too the style of the all page: the 'blue' color of the horizontal column, that display the 'Adding Favorites' is really distroying the graphic chart of the site.
I would like that this page uses the style i have defined for the all page.
If anyone knows some tips to make these changes,

The apps you have were probably purchased/downloaded from the App Store with your ex-wife's iTunes account. Any updates to these apps will want to be downloaded using this account. You will need to redownload/repurchase these apps. In iTunes on your computer delete the app. Go to the App Store and redownload/repurchase them. Now sync your iPhone with iTunes.
Note that if you are using a new computer (no longer your ex-wife's) you may lose what is on your iPhone.
In iTunes on a computer you can check which account was used for dowloading/purchasing an app. Select the app. From the File menu choose Get Info. The account will be listed in the Summary tab.

Yes. Well, sort of: instead of a "path", set the pen tool to "shape" in the tool properties. Then set the fill colour to transparent, and the stroke colour to the colour you want. You can also set the stroke width.
Not perfect, but at least you can see the path more clearly - the anchor points and handles still remain the default colour. Open the path panel, and right-mouse click the path shape to create a selection based on that shape. The Paths panel menu also allows you to create work paths based on that shape.
Unfortunately when you try to move the handles the black thin outline appears again until you release the mouse button.
This is one of several things that works better in Photoline: in Photoline, once the path is set to a specific colour, editing the path uses the actual colour and stroke width. which is extremely handy for creating path based selection with awkward background colours and/or a high resolution screen. In Photoline the handles and bezier points are also much, much larger, which makes it rather simpler to work with as well - especially on a higher resolution screen. And when selected the handles and points are a clear red with a black outline - again easier to spot and identify. I just works better, in my opinion.

Change the colour of message bubbles

Is there a way that I can change the colour of my text bubbles. Or will they stay green.. Or is there a way I can customise the colours?

There is no way to change the colour. If you message another using with an iOS device running iOS 5 or later and you are messaging them from an iOS device running iOS 5 or later it will be sent over Apple's iMessages network and the text bubbles will be blue. Just thought I would share that.

Is it possible to change the colour of the text bubble in Preview? In the Help section it seems to indicate you can but following the directions only puts a border around the bubble in the colour you have chosen. The interior colour of the bubble does not change.

No, unfortunately not...
Green means SMS and blue means it's an iMessage but it's not customizable.

Speech bubble colour cannot be changed. SMS is green and iMessage is blue and that's it I'm afraid.

I have a report where in a bubble chart needs to be shown with different colors for bubbles available in the chart. I cant find any option to select individual bubbles and format the color options.
Any guidance or suggestions solving this would be much appreciated.

Thanks JB for your reply, I see in format chart data there is are two sections:
1. Positional
2. Conditional
In Positional - I have the type and color changes for the bubbles but if I change any color in that all the bubbles are simultaneously getting the same color code.
Not sure if there is any other setting. Please share me your thoughts on this.

You can't remove the bubble. You can remove the picture. Launch the contacts app and locate your own contact information. Tap the edit button at the bottom. Tap and hold down on the the picture associated with your contact and tap remove photo or change photo or whatever you want to do ... From the pop up menu. Tap Done when you are finished.

My question is this : How can you change the banner of the FTP-server on the Linksys WRT610N ?
At present it says : "Welcome to WRT610 Router's FTP service" which gives away the type of the device.
Which is a clue I would rather hide. Besides that I would like to change it to something more personal.
But how do you do that ?
The UG is silent about this.

* Login as admin
* Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager
* Expand FTP sites (from tree view)
* Right-click on the particular FTP site, select Properties
* Click on the Messages tab
* Setup new message
* Save the changes

It sounds like you may be running Acrobat 11.0.07, is that correct? If so, please choose Edit > Preferences > General. In the entry Scale for Screen Resolution, choose 100%. Save your changes, and restart Acrobat. Did that do the trick?
