Changing the double click to single click

Hi All
It is required to change the functionality of the double click to single click only,while creating sales document types. Kindly help by providing path, TC, progrrame, userexit etc. to achieve the objective.

This is w.r.t. already configured document types. It is additional functionality the user is insisting for. This is required only to the sales orders. here the user wants to use the output header for typing the notes for their specific customer's order.while changing form header to header note 1 or vice versa they dont want to use double click while changing over the the above tabs for text typing.

You can associate files from the Bridge level and the Desktop level.
In Bridge CS4, go to Preferences > File Type Associations and change it to Photoshop CS4 for the file types you want.
If you want to open files from the Windows Desktop in CS4, these are the instructions:

If you want your image file to open in Photoshop and it doesn't, right click on it and choose
Open with > Choose default program… select Photoshop CS4 or CS6 and checkmark "always use the selected program to open this type of file".

The double click is not working so cannot navigate. Do you think this is a fault or have the setting been changed

It is probably set too fast or too slow. Go to System Preferences from the Apple menu. Click on trackpad and adjust the double-click speed here.

Did the double click to open a file or folder go away with the Magic Mouse?

I see that you can set up the right or left "secondary click" and when you click o a folder or file you get the menu to open, etc. But I really perfer to just double click on a file or folder to open it. I see there is a "Double-Click" option at the top of the preferences, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I am on an iMac running 10.6.7

Okay, I am officially embarrassed. I thought I had changed enough things around to see if I could get this to work. I had the “Double-Click’ in the preferences set to the far right to be “fast,” the same way I have “Tracking”and “Scrolling,” and those two work fine. I decided to move the slider to the left a bit and it now works. So, if anyone else has this problem – here’s the solution!

I was trying to put code into a Double Click event in Adobe LiveCycle Designer, but couldn't find the Event. There is a "Click" event, but that won't do.
Am I missing something here?

Hi Jen,
I was surprised the double click was missing but I use the following code in the click event, just replace the "[my double click code ]" and "[ my single click code ]" with your single and double click code. This code delays the single click event for 400ms to see if a second click is coming, you might want to play around with the 400ms as you have to balance the responsiveness of a single click with the double click.

In iPhoto the double click to enlarge a photo is now a ! in a triangle and I am Unable to print from iPhoto. This has just happened out of the blue.

In iPhoto I have lost the double click that opensup photos, the double click now appears as a ! in a triangle. At the same time I have lost the print facility in iPhoto. This happened out of the blue and I have been unable to reconcile either problem. Can anyone help please.

The ! means that iPhoto has lost connection to the origianl file.
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

Cannot use the double-click in web applications

In firefox mobile, the double-click ask for a zoom on a specific part of the page.
The double-click is used by many web applications (like webmails to open a mail in the list), but the event seems not to be sent to the application.

For 10.8.3, it's in System Preferences > Accessiblity > highlight Mouse & trackpad on the left. The Double click speed slider shows on the right. Moving it to the left gives you more time between clicks. Moving it right gives you less time.

Bug: Lost the double-click minimize, Mac OS 9 like collapsable windows?

I have no idea what happened to my system, but every time I try to minimize any open windows of any application using the typical double-clicking of the title bar, it doesn't go to the dock but rather collapses in a Mac OS 9'esque view that leaves only a slim sliver of the title bar.
The minimize yellow button does send it to the dock still, but for some reason, even with the "Double-click a window's title bar to minimize." checked in Preferences, I can't double click the title bar to do the same task.
How would I go about fixing this?

How do i change the secondary click from starting up mission control to standard right click

Downloaded lion but i can't seem to changes the secondary click. The secondary or right click opens up mission control instead of the standard right click menus

I had the same problem with my 2010 MBA. I plugged in a mouse and changed the preference on the right button to secondary click in the mouse preferences. For some reason it changed the setting on the trackpad from mission control to standard right click as well, even after the mouse is unplugged. So if you have a mouse you might try that. Hopefully Apple will fix this with an update.

If the track volume automation curve is enabled, the volume slider for the track will move with the automation curve.
Click the automation curves disclosure triangle in the track header and disable the volume automation.
