CHANGING THE FPS IN ELEMENTS 10?

Recently i have been using Adobe Premiere elements 10 and have been planning on making a timelapse or stopmotion film i have about 1000 images and need to set the frame rate to around 15fps or 10 fps i have no found these options only options for video like 25fps whick is too fast so i need to know how to do this, i have tried going project settings and general and tried to do it their but with no triumph i would be very grateful if someone could help me here on this query that baffles me.

You cannot change the fps settings of any project. That is pre-defined for each project setting in PRE.
But as Bill and Steve said, what you want to do is, change the duration of your still images. Before importing all your images, first change the still duration setting Preferences->General. then import your images.
If you want to have different duration settings for different images. You should import images in group.
Say, among those 1000 images, you want to import 500 images of 3sec duration and the other 500 images of 2 sec duration, what you should do is, first set the still duration to 3, import first set of 500 images and then change the still duration to 2 and then import the next set.

The simplest way is probably to implement ur own listmodel and then supply the listitems in the order u want. Example:

Hi Everyone,
Could any one of u tell me how to update the value of elements in an XML file, using java? The reason is i want to use an XML file as a data source (i.e. more or less like a database), without using any RDBMS, for simple applications such as to read a record and update the record. By the way, my XML file will have only one record, such as the current weather information, with fields such as temperature, humdity etc. for 1 city only.

Cannot change the FPS of the Camera in Flash Media Encoder 3

Hi,
I am using a Sony HVR-A1 as a Webcam as we need good quality video streaming for live video feeds.
It does work well.
the only query I have is that the only choice offered on the FPS section is 29 frames per second.
I would like to be able to reduce that as it is too much for streaming.
Is their something I can do?

I faced the same problem with my Swann cameras. My understanding is that FMLE won't capture from a device at an unsupported frame rate, and it sounds like the only framerate supported by your camera is 29fps.
I suspect the only way you could change this is to use another capture card (or software) that supports multiple frame rates between FMLE and the camera

Want to change the cost element for a activity type (KP26)

Hi,
I want to change the Allocation cost element for an activity type in KP26. I have already changed the cost element in the activity master data in KL02. Now i want to change it in KP26. I am trying to delete the existing line item in KP26 to create the new line item with the new cost element, but system not allowing to delete the existing one. It throws the error message ""Allocations with XXXXXXX/XXXX (Cost center/Activity type) exist ; deletion not possible". Can someone please help me to change the cost element?

Thanx for you people for helping me. i havin gone doubt here. If i am deleting the existing line in KP26 and create new line with appropriage cost element will it be cause the existing datas? I don't want to go for another activity type, because our process is a complex process exist all over the world in more than 300 company codes. So i want to use the existing activity type but want to change the allocation cost element alone. Is there any possibility to change the cost element alone?

Hi Gopal,
Try this one.
1. Create Only one message type of target type.
2. Go to XSD tab and export the "XSD" of the message type.
3. Change the <xsd:sequence> element to <xsd:all>
4. Then import the "xsd" in external definitions.
5. Use the imported "xsd" and create Message mapping. Give both source and target the same message type from XSD.
6. just Map one to one.
Now you can get ur required target structure. Since it is <xsd:all> it will accept ur input file.

Change Appearance Color in Elements 6

Hi,
New to Elements 6 and what a surprise. My eyes can't get used to working with a black background. I'm told there is a slider somewhere that will change the appearance of Elements 6 from Black to Gray in both the editor and organizer similar to Elements 5. Would someone please tell me how to access them?

I just upgraded to Elements v7 from v4. I HATE the balck background. Is there any way to change it to a lighter background? Dear ADOBE, why would any company purposely make its product hard to read and more difficult to operate by making the background black? Besides, over 95% of all photo uses (webpages, printed documents, newsletters, etc) are printed on white or ligher colored backgrounds. Why wouldn't you allow us to work with an image in an envornment it is goign to be used? Ever hear of testing the product with focus groups of users. I can't remotely image that users prefer the black background. Idiots!

thanksFirst off, you do not have an array of any dimension.You have a Vector that contains Vectors that contain Objects (you should provide a more specific type in your declaration).
To change the element at position x in the y'th Vector, get the y'th Vector and change the x'th element in said Vector.
As a side note, you should be using ArrayList instead of Vector these days.

You actually cannot edit the current template.
The process is as follow:
create a brand new project site from the existing template,
edit the site configuration (list, column, webparts, image, logo, theme...),
save it as a template,
associate it to an EPT.

I recently had some 8mm film transferred to DVD. I am trying to edit the film clips using Premier Elements 4.0. so I can reburn the films on a single BluRay disc. Some of the film clips copy into the project but others don't. I tried copying the VOB filed onto my hard drive and then changing the file extensions on the VOB files to MPEG but this was no help. Some of the VOB files contain numerous film clips but my software does not appear to be able to recognize them as such. I need to know if replacing my old Premier Elements with the new Version 13 would solve this problem or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What do you have now.....
What computer operating system do you have?
We can go into the finer points of source and your intentions, but for now it would appear that you are using SD 4:3 source media to get to a HD 16:9 result. Lots to discuss in this regard.
What was given to you on the DVD disc? DVD-VIDEO 4:3 or something else?
If DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc, you should expect to find on the disc a folder named VIDEO_TS. That is your target for your video files.
If you were given a DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc, then all you want from it are the video files, specifically
VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, and so on through that series until possibly getting to
VTS_02_1.VOB, and so on. How many files you have beyond the VTS_01_1.VOB file will depend on the size of the DVD-VIDEO.
Does the above scenario apply to you?
The alternative might be someone giving a DVD disc (data disc) which contains just the VTS files mentioned which were copied from
the VIDEO_TS Folder. So, you do not get the whole VIDEO_TS Folder, just the essential video files. Does this scenario apply to you.
I see no need to replace your Premiere Elements 4 with a later version unless you have a huge project and need a later version that will be a 64 bit application running specifically on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit computer.
Consider...Premiere Elements 4 and if you have DVD-VIDEO on DVD....
1. Place the DVD disc in the burner tray
2. Open Premiere Elements 4 and set the project preset for NTSC DV Standard (assuming you are working in a NTSC setup)
3. Go to
Get Media
"DVD, Digital Camera, Mobile Phone, Hard Drive Camcorder, Card Reader"
"Adobe Premiere Elements - Media Downloader" and its Advanced dialog.
Set the Source in the latter dialog for the drive which has your DVD disc inserted in its tray
You should see your VTS_01_1.VOB thumbnail in the "Adobe Premiere Elements - Media Downloader" Advanced dialog.
With this VOB selected, click on Get Media to get the file from there into the project.
Should work fine.
Complications may be involved if the people who processed your footage gave you something other what is described above.
Please review and consider, and then we can plan our project strategy accordingly.

I'm not affiliated w/ the developer, just a happy user that gave up fighting the apple podcast app a while ago. I used to have a bunch of smart playlists in itunes for my podcasts, and come home every day and pathologically synced my phone as soon as I walked in the door, and again before I walked out the door in the morning.
Since my wife was doing this too, we were fighting over who's turn it was to sync their phone.
Since I've switched to Downcast, I no longer worry about syncing my phone to itunes at all. I can go weeks between syncs.
Setup a "playlist" in downcast (ex., "Commute") and add podcasts to that playlist. Add another playlist ("walk" or "workout") and add different podcasts to that one.
Set podcast priorities on a per-feed basis (ex., high priority for some daily news feeds, medium priority for some favorite podcasts, lower priority for other stuff). Downcast will play the things in the priority you specify, and within that priority, it will play in date order (oldest to newest).
Allegedly, it will also sync your play status to other devices, although that is not a feature I currently use and can't vouch for. It uses apple's iCloud APIs, so to some extent may be limited by what Apple's APIs can do.
