Changing the size of images displayed when a thumbnail is clicked

In an Aperture gallery, how do I change the size an image is displayed when a thumbnail is clicked. There are sliders for changing the size of the thumbnail; I can't find an adjustment anywhere for the size an image is displayed when the curved arrow in the upper left hand corner is clicked.
Help!
--Kenoli

Hi Kenoli,
In an Aperture gallery, how do I change the size an image is displayed when a thumbnail is clicked.
Do you mean "double-clicked"? In "Browser" mode, when I click on a photo, nothing changes. However, when I double-click on a photo, it switches to "Viewer" mode.
However, I'm missing the curved arrow that you mention. I can't find any photos with a curved arrow over them in any mode. In fact, the only overlays are the badges in the lower right.
Can you be a little more specific about exactly what mode you are in?

  • How do I change the size of images for a collage?

    I am trying to create a collage in Photoshop CS4.  I have found info on this and know that I need to create the background layer and then drag the images I want onto the background layer, then free transform the images to make them the sizes that I want.  However, when I do this the image becomes distorted.  Is there some way to make the images smaller and still retain the integrity of the image?  As it works now the people in my images are getting stretched out one direction or another.  Any information, or direction to information would be greatly appreciated!!  Thanks!

    I'm not the most experienced yet, so there may be an easier way.  But, first, the images and the background should be the same resolution...which you can check/change by going to Image-->Image Size.  Then after dragging to your background use the free transform from the corner, while holding down the shift key.  This will keep it proportional.

  • How to change the size of a printout when printing through email from phone to 8630?

    I have this printing fine but it's printing a 1/4 page. I'd like the picture to print full or at least halp page. I don't see where there might be a setting for this. I don't want to make a default for normal printing just eprinting.
    Hope this makes sense.

    Hi,
    If you're emailing through a photo then the default size will be 4x6 so if this is printing out an A4 sheet, that's the reason why it looks like a 1/4 page print. Unfortunately there no way to increase the size of the photo printed via e-mail as the default is set to 4x6.
    For more flexability in terms of image size etc. I'd suggest that you download the HP e-Print and use this to print from your phone. I've included setup instructions below:

  • Changing the size of images with a Mac

    Hi, I've became a Mac evangelist after I visited Apple's website for the first time last year. Finally I bought my new MacBook, but I'm not yet using it, because I find it difficult to shift.
    I'm a webmaster and my website developer told me that I should upload images in the 300 X 350 pixels image size. Now how do I do that on my mac? Suppose I have an image of the size 800 X 750 pixels, how do I make a 300 X 350 pixels version of it to upload on the website?
    Thank you

    If you got a new Mac, I presume you got iLife with it, so you can use iPhoto. Your problem is that if you REALLY have to have exactly 300x350, you are going to have to recrop your images, because I doubt much of anything is going to have those proportions, as well as reduce the pixel dimensions. You can do both in iPhoto. The Crop tool allows you specify your constraints, you can make custom constraints, and then drag the crop box around and resize it in the image so you get the part that looks best selected, without distortion.

  • How do I change the search engine that displays when opening a new tab-Bing comes up and I want Google.

    I'm using Firefox 15 on a Mac and there don't seem to be any extensions affecting this. Thanks!

    Is that about searching via the build-in the about:home page?
    Reset the <b>browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone</b> pref via the right-click context menu to the default on the <b>about:config</b> page and close and restart Firefox to restore the about:home page to its default.
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/about:config
    #Open the <b>about:config</b> page via the location bar
    #Type in the Filter bar: mstone
    #Right-click the browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone line and select: Reset
    #Close and restart Firefox
    If this didn't help then delete the delete the chromeappsstore.sqlite file in the Firefox Profile Folder and repeat the above.

  • How do I change the size of iframes?

    I use a questionnaire on my web site. It is provided by a service called responsomatic. There is a button on the bottom of the page that does not appear when using firefox, but does appear on Safari. The questionnaire is all put on my page as a web widget (html snippit). The tech folks have identified a problem on my page (not in the html snippet) that could cause this and they said I need to reduce the size of my iframe. Since I can't view the actual html using iweb, how can I address this issue?
    thanks in advance!

    thanks, but I tried that. The problem is not with the html snippet, which I can view and alter. It is with the iweb page itself. I can't change the size of that. When I view it in iweb, everything looks fine. Also, as I said it looks fine in Safari. Firefox is another story. Several of my questions towards the bottom, along with the "submit this form" button do not appear. Interesting that the "made with a Mac" is still there, so the page bottom is there.

  • Change the XP revision code displayed using winver

    Hi
    I need be able to display/change the XP revision code displayed when running 'winver.exe' under Embedded 2009 Standard. Does anyone know which component/setting I can use to change the revision code (or part of it) to my own version number?
    I have no control over the program that will run on the system, so I need a way of having a revision code that can be displayed to a standard user using standard windows mechanisms, either computer properties or 'winver.exe'
    Many thanks
    Steve W

    You can create an C:\WINDOWS\system32\OEMINFO.INI file, this information will be shown in the "System" control panel the file may look like this:
    [General]
    Manufacturer = Your company name
    Model = MyDevice 1000, SW V1.00
    SupportURL = http://www.yoursite.com
    [OEMSpecific]
    OEM1=Your company name
    I don't think that there is a (official, of course) way to change the versions shown in winver.exe.

  • What is happening when I change the size of the image in the program sequence window?

    I noticed that I can change the image size of my exported file. I imported a 720 x 480 DV file into CS5.5. I went to my program sequence window and changed the settings to show the smallest image in that window. I then clicked on the image and used the handles that appear to make that small image large enough to nearly fill the screen. When I exported my final file and played the resulting WMV, the image on my screen was nearly twice as large as it would have been if I had not previously altered the image size in the program sequence window. I had to do this alteration for each clip in my timeline, or the unaltered ones would stay at the smaller size. The quality did not seem to be significantly impaired. I learned about this on a youtube video. The person who did the video claimed that this was a simple and quick way to upgrade standard video to HD. Of course this is not true. He was only changing the size of the resulting video. Does anyone know what is really happing when you do this procedure and why it changes the size of the exported  video?

    The size (resolution) of the exported video is not affected by anything you do while editing.  It is dependant solely on the resolution set in the export settings.
    Ideally you want to edit in an sequence that matches your media\, which will be the same size or larger than the required export.  In other words, the same or smaller is OK.  Making things bigger in post is not the best option.  If you need things bigger, shoot them bigger.

  • Is there anyway to change the size of the font in images in slideshow

    You seem to be able to change the size and style of the font in embedded Image Gallery, but is there a way to change the size of the font, that is displayed in the full screen slideshow mode? Small white font over black bars are very hard to read.

    Yes. Hit the Edit button top right of the EXS24. Should be selfexplanatory after that.

  • Can you change the size of the preview images on an Apple TV without changing video resolution?

    I have a 32 inch LCD TV. My room is relatively large and I can't easily see the preview images or read the text on the TV across the room. Is it possible to change the size of preview images in the menu screens without increasing the resolution of the TV itself? I think this should be possible, but can't seem to find a way to do it.

    No that's not something you can do on the Apple TV.
    If you have any suggestions that you think might enhance the Apple TV you can send Apple your feedback here.

    picture size...in putting together a book I can move photos onto a page and enlarge the picture but is there a way to reduce the picture size? some cases I want a smaller picture and if I change the size of the picture box I only get a portion of the image. I want to reduce the image to fit the size of the box.

    If you right click on the image on the page in the context menu select photo box alignment and then select one of scale to fit {centered, Left-aligned, Right-aligned}
    That should do what you are loking for.
