Changing the sync email on all contacts

Hi
I have a Nokia Lumia 925 running Windows 8.1
When I first set-up my contacts I linked them to a corporate email account. I now want to change them to a personal email account but there does not seem to be an easy way to do this.
any thoughts?

Assuming both accounts are Microsoft accounts you can export from one and import to the other using http://people.live.com
Alternatively (or If one is Exchange and the other your Microsoft account) use Outlook to move contacts between accounts.

Hey,
My Blackberry has inadvertently decided to sync all of my personal contacts to a work Gmail address. My actual device won't let me change the syncing address directly on the contact edit page. Is there a way to change the Gmail address where these contacts sync without having to re-enter all of my contacts?

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
The contact sync will only sync to the gmail address that it is integrated. If you add another gmail address, then you can sync to that other address.

On your phone: Settings>General>Usage>Music...tap the Edit button...then the red minus sign. This will delete all music on your phone.

How to change the "from email id" of all the notifications in the instance

Hi,
I have a requirement to change the from email address of all the outbound notifications in an instance.
Presently our notifications are having from address as R12 Workflow Mailer ["[email protected]"]
We want to change this to ABC. So that all the outbound notifications will have
ABC as from email address.
How do we achieve this ? Is there any mailer level setting for this ?

Hi,
The 'From' value in the email notification is derived from 'From' parameter value, but the actual email address used for 'From' field is the 'Reply-to Address' parameter value that is specified for the mailer. If you want to specify a different email address you can change the 'Reply-to Address' parameter value.
You can also specify the From value based on the kind of notification you send, you can do it by defining the #WFM_FROM message attribute as specified below
• #WFM_FROM - Define this attribute for a message to specify the value that appears in the From field of the message header when the e-mail notification message is delivered to a user. If the #WFM_FROM message attribute is defined for a notification, the notification mailer that sends the message will use the #WFM_FROM attribute value in the From field for that message, overriding the mailer’s From parameter value

There may be several that were bought with your Apple ID. but somewhere in the updates there must be one associated with that other ID.
You can update one by one, until you find the one that requires the other Apple ID.

None of the spreadsheet apps that work with Excel files offer anything like full native support in iOS. Apple's own Numbers app pairs down features for the iOS version. The hardware is simply not up to what a true computer is capable of, so all apps like QuickOffice, DocumentsToGo, Numbers and so forth offer reduced features from their computer-version counterparts.
I think a custom app will be your only real choice, be it a fully standalone app, or something built in filemaker or some other db-based platform.

Not without creating a new iCloud account. If you want to do this, create a new ID with the email address you want to use, then go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on your device. (If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also open your iWork apps and turn off iCloud syncing and choose to keep the documents on your phone.) After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up a new iCloud account using your new ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to your new account.
This will not move your photo stream, however. If you have photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll and that you haven't backed up anywhere else you will need to save these before deleting the account. To do this, open your photo stream album on your device in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos to select them, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. You can then delete the iCloud account and your photos will stay in your camera roll.

HT1386 Suddenly iPad, Mac and iPhone do not sync emails, though all on iCloud

I have MacAir, iPad and iPhone. All with iCloud.
a. When I open sync on iCloud, all contacts are duplicated on my Mac
b. All of a sudden (since last week), my emails are not longer synchronized. When I delete them on my Mac, they stay on the others.

I'm having the same exact problem.
The iCal on my MacBook does not update any changes or addition done on the iPad's iCal.
I dont have this problem with my iPhone 4.
I tried everything you did and some other suggestions as well.
It is very frustrating that the app I use the most is so poorly designed.
It does not sync, nor cut, copy, past or drag appointments.
I could do those things with my black and whit Palm one century a go.
Now I have a iPad 2, that runs iMovie, but doesn't have a decent calendar that stands up to a 2004 Palm.

I just moved from the US to the UK and purchased a new iPhone 4S. When my contacts migrated from Outlook to the iPhone they did not include the country code in the US and therefore all contacts numbers are now listed incorrectly. How can I add the country code to hundreds of contacts painlessly?

International Assist is activated. Upon further review this appears to be a case of the original country codes not being added when the contact list was constructed. iOS has not figured this out and thus when changing countries I've been forced to add the country codes to every contact record manually. Disappointing and very labour intensive. If only Apple allowed for a macro that simplified the mass change.

Adobe Reader for iOS doesn't set the default email address when you email a PDF.
It's found in the Settings app:
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Mail > Default Account

Is it possible to change the "From Email Address in workflow"

I have a created a task list and set a workflow for the list.
Workflow Actions:
1. Send a Email to the "Assigned To" user whenever a task is created.
2. If the Task is due, send an reminder Email and even if its not completed, send a Email to the higher Management.
Workflow is working fine.
Issue:
The Email from address is the Email Address that has been entered in the SharePoint central admin Outgoing Email address.
I would need the from address to be of whomever has assigned the task to the particular person.
Let me know if its possible?

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to change the From email address in workflows.
The from address is set in the outgoing e-mail settings in Central Administration.
There is no OOB way to change it in workflows.
As a workaround, I suggest you develop your own workflow activity to do it.
Or, there is a CodePlex solution, it contains a Send Email Extended action which allows you to specify the sender, you can take a look at:

maybe be more specific...
you can sync multiple devices to the same itunes account on the same laptop. Simply plug in the new iphone 4s and check off all the settings you want to sync (apps, music, playlists, books, videos, etc).
If you want your iphone 4s to look exactly like your 3gs...
1. do an icloud backup of your 3gs
2. restore your iphone 4s to factory settings
3. when setting up the phone, choose "restore from icloud backup"
4. choose the most recent icloud backup (should display the date and time of the 3gs backup you just performed
5. phone will load everything just as it is on the 3gs... onto the iphone 4s

Navigate to appleid.apple.com using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
After you've validated your identity by correctly answering your security questions, click Edit to the right of your rescue email address.
Once you've finished editing your rescue email address, click the Save button directly below the email field.
If you can't remember their answers and you have access to your current rescue email address then steps 1 to 5 should let you send reset info to it.
If you don't have access to your current rescue email address then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.Contacting Apple about account security :

When they've been reset you can then use the aboe steps to change your rescue email address for potential future use.
