Changing the text size on a contact sheet printout

don't ever get old! I am using iPhoto 9.5.1 and for some reason the font size of the info associated with an image I am printing out in "contact sheet" format is very small and hard to read without reading glasses--especially in low light conditions. It was a larger size in my previous version of iPhoto. How can I default to a preferred font size? thanks,

I don't know of any want to increase the font size for a set number of columns. It appears that if you use fewer columns the text gets bigger but you get fewer photos per page.

Cmd brings up dashboard, can I change it? I used to use it to change the text size in Pages

Upgraded to lion and all is good. However, cmd+ has been hyjacked by the OS to bring up the dashboard. I use cmd+ and cmd- to change the text size in Pages. Is there a way to change the Lion keyboard shortcuts to get the functionality back for Pages? The cmd- still works to reduce text size in Pages, so it's even more frustrating that cmd+ does something else.

Well on my MBP running Lion 10.7.2 Command+ or - does not do anything, and that is using either Command+ or Command(+ shift)+. I do not have pages installed.
The point is that Command+ and Command- should control the text size in Pages (we're not talking about any othr program, just Pages). Those are hard-set (programmed in the software) keyboard commands for Pages.
In Pages, Command+ should increase the text size, and not bring up the Dashboard. And that is the OP's problem - that command is bringing up Dashboard, which it should not do. Apparently there is some setting somewhere that is causing Command+ to do the wrong thing - and that's what we're trying to find.
So at least on my MBP Command+ certainly does not bring up the Dashboard....
Good - it's not supposed to, nor is that what the OP wants.
By the way, if you use Safari and/or Mail, you'll find that Command+ and Command- adjust the text size in those programs. Ditto Numbers, TextEdit, Bean, and many other programs - it's a fairly common assignment, hence not one which usually needs to be added via Keyboard Shortcuts.

Text size with the Text Touchup Tool. Line spacing is a NO. What you want to do does not fall into the category of what PDFs are created to do. If you are just doing it for screen reading, use the zoom.

How can I change the background color of a contact sheet?

I'm making my contact sheet just fine but it's on a white background, and I'd like to change it to a darker gray. This functionality existed in an earlier version of Bridge but I'm not seeing it now that contact sheet is now in Photoshop. Any ideas? Thanks!

Anyway in Photoshop’s Contact Sheet II just don’t check "Flatten All Layers" and you can then add the intended background to the resulting files.

How do I change the text size in a PDF fillable form in Preview?

I'm trying to fill out a PDF form I downloaded from my bank and would like to use Preview to fill out the form. No problem typing in each field until I got to where it asks for my e-mail address. My e-mail is too long for the form's provided area and I'd like to reduce the text I'm inputting into that field so it can fit. Before I do it with PhotoShop or just and inkpen, does anyone know of a way to selectivly reduce the font size of the text for a too-tiny-field? I've tried to open the fonts menu but it does not seem related to the fillable text field.

Use the Positioning tool to select the entire Multicolumn Listbox. Then use the Text Settings in the LabVIEW toolbar to change the font, style and so on. You will see that the font of all the items in your Multicolumn Listbox (including its label) are changed at once.
If you want to change only one item, than you can use the Text tool.

If you're speaking in reference to Safari, check out Apple menu > Safari Prefernces > Advanced > Under accessibility, check the box that reads "Never use font sizes smaller than" and choose a larger number. Try 14 to start.

On some documents in Adobe Reader when I wish to enter text using the T button, I am given the option of the font and size of text. However, on other documents, a very small text size is used with no option to change it. How can I change the text size or bring up the option window?

Press Ctrl+E to open the properties bar, where you could set the font size.

I can't change the type size in a link with contribute

When I edit a web page with Contribute and create a link, it changes the text size in the link. Nothing I can do will let me change it. I have looked at page properties, changed the font, etc., nothing works. Please help!

The links may be controlled by the sites CSS file. Have you looked at that?

I want to make 4x6 study notecard/flashcards, how do I change the page size to fit the cards I need, I want them to print on a standard size paper, but keep the text in a 4x6 margin, new to mac please help!!

The Idea is to set my paper size and page layout to a pre-screened 4x6 layout, which I can add and insert txt/pictures, when I need to print, I should be able to fit 2 per page, if not that's okay, but when I print them I will cut off the excess paper and glue the rest to a notecard, any ideas, NEW TO MAC PAgES

Menu > File > New from Template Chooser > Sidebar > Page Layout > Blank > Blank Canvas
If you need to have two cards on one page then just set up one using text boxes and images to the 4 x 6 (inches?), group them and option shift drag a second copy down the page so you then have 2 and alter the copy as you need.
Change the text and images to placeholders, capture those as a Layout and then save that as a template.

1. To make the individual card follow the instructions for Labels & Business cards but use your size:

Looks like you didn't get a reply on your post, but it is still a problem. Font size is supposedly changeable via "Accessibility" in Settings, but it doesn't work. You can turn on "Zoom".
