Changing the Theme color?

Is it possible to use an existing theme and change the colors? For example, I wanted to use the "Fun" theme for a Christmas presentation and wanted to change the orange color layout to a red or green. Is this possible or do I have to create my own or download a different one?

Hiya!
I just finished something, but it is only goiing to be available until January 1st.
It is a theme developed based on the Fun Theme included with Keynote, but with a slight twist. It is super-modifiable. That means you can change the color of the backgrounds and frames for the photos all within Keynote.
Pretty cool, huh?
This is done using a greyscale image of the original Fun Theme background, inside a big old square rectangle, set with a tinted image fill. Set your color to 50% and you should be good to go.
The other thing which is different is that all the photo frames are shapes, so you will be selecting them and using the image fill on them as well, setting them with your chosen image. It should work, but have fun with it anyways.
(yes, I know. some of the shapes don't close properly. I was in a hurry. turkey leftovers are waiting, after all)
The nicest part of all this is that these items will all work in Pages as well. You can copy/paste your framed photos into that program as well.
Cool, huh?
This file will only be avilable until January 1st, after which I shall hide all evidence it ever existed, just in case the nice people at Apple get cranky. But for now? Enjoy.
go get it.

    Yes, You can have your own themes and you can change the colour of the existing Theme.
    Connect to BAM->Architect->System->Views->Chart Themes.
    You can edit the colors of the existing Theme or You can create your own theme here.

  • Can you change the theme color in iMovie for example from its current color of blue to red?

    Can you change the color of a theme in iMovie ?- example: the sports theme is set to be blue and I would like it red.

    No. And that would be nice in your type of example.
    I would recommend that you could TRY to use the "Map, Background & Animatics" earth icon> (next to transitions tool tab), scroll down> add RED background, and ADD Transitions inside some. That might help your example out.
    Hope this helps. Cheers

  • How do I change the font color for numbering in a matching question slide?

    I have a grey image on a question slide, but the numbering for the answers in a matching question is defaulting to grey so learners can't see to match up.  How can I change the font color of these choices?  Thanks.

    You probably edited the master slide without changing the theme colors? Check the Object Style for Answers in the Object Style Manager. The numbering takes the same color as the answer text.
    All depends on the Theme colors palette that you are using. Normally Question answers use the darkest tint of the fourth color. I started blogging about color management, but description of the use of Theme colors will be published later.

  • In Pages 09' how do I change the background colors on the templates?

    I have been trying to change the background on one of the templates from red to green for a while.  I can't figure it out and i can't find answers online any where that are helpful at all.  I just need to changes the background color to what I want it to be and not what the programs sets them too.  Any ideas?  I'm totally stumped!
    Thanks for the help!

    Hi Burke,
    Here's the result, using Peggy's suggestion:
    Process:
    Click on the thin strip of red to the left of the title ("THE THOMPSONS") to select the background.
    You'll see the small x in each corner, indicating the object is locked.
    Go Arrange > Unlock (or press option-command-L) to unlock the object.
    Click on the Fill Color well in the format bar, and choose a new colour from the palette.
    Go Arrange > Lock (or press command-L to re-lock the object.
    Save the result.

  • How to change the background color of a button when the button is emphasized

    Hi,
    I have a button that is in the "emphasized" state, I realized there is a default color "light blue" when the button is emphasized. is there any way I can change this default color? so if mu button goes to emphasized state I can control which color it should be
    I am using "Halo" for the theme, and I was not able to change the Focus color through the "Appearance Window" in Flash Builder 4
    any help would be appreciated

    Take a look at the accentColor flag of <s:Button>. It looks like you can do it there. But, it also looks like emphasized needs to be "true" and that you may need to interrupt the button's automatic update event... I've never tried to do this though. And, I imagine you only need to listen to button state changes if you want to dynamically control the emphasized color. If you just want to set a static value other than the default, it looks like setting emphasized to true and the uint of the accentColor will do the trick...

  • How can I change the background color in the inbox?

    The background color in my inbox (well, all mailboxes) is white. A yellow background would make the existing black text a lot easier to read. How can I change the background color in the inbox?

    Themes work in Thunderbird - duggabe was not refering to Firefox.
    Another useful addon is theme and font changer:
    * https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/thunderbird/addon/theme-font-size-changer/
    However, Thunderbird allows you to modify all sorts of things.
    Make hidden files and folders visible:
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Show_hidden_files_and_folders
    Help > Troubleshooting Information
    Click on 'show Folder' button
    a window opens shwoing profile folder name
    Close Thunderbird now - this is important
    In the profile name folder, Create a new folder called '''chrome''' - note the spelling
    It should be in the same place as the 'Mail' folder.
    see first image below.
    Open Notepad
    Can be located : Start > Programs > accessories
    Copy everything shown between the lines below.
    Paste into Notepad.
    Save as '''userChrome.css''' - note the spelling (edit updated - this was a typo error)
    This should be saved in the '''chrome''' folder.
    see second image below.
    Restart Thunderbird.
    I have chosen a yellow for you
    <pre>
    #f6f58c = a yellow....it is a hex code for a colour.
    </pre>
    You can change it if required. Remember when updating anything in the profile folders, you must close Thunderbird first.

  • How do I change the Background Color of a Shape in iWeb?

    I am adding a comment bubble from the Shape menu for one of my photos. Everytime I try to change the background color of the bubble I end up changing the entire background color of the Web Page.
    How do I only change the background color of the shape?
    G5   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

    Hi Kyn,
    Perhaps you (or anyone else!) can help me with this too: is it possible to change the color of the border styles that you choose for the thumbnails on a photo page? There is no "fill" option in the Graphic pane of the inspector when I select one of them. I love some of the styles but would like to be able to match the color better to my pages. See here for an example:
    http://web.mac.com/mousie/iWeb/Site/Recount.html
    The twirly border is a little too orange for my taste.
    Thanks in advance.

    You can add a solid color theme to change the color of the top of the browser window, which includes the Menu Bar.

  • How do I change the default color in pages.

    How do I change the default color in pages.  Everytime I try to copy and paste a passage, I am unable to do so because it seems that the ink is always white on white.  Sometimes I am lucky and can change it using the color box in the format bar, but it's a rarity when I'm able to do it.

    What version of Pages & what version of OS X are you using?
    A problem with an early Software Update for Snow Leopard caused a lot of problems. The problem is not whether or not your system is the current version but how it got there. You must use the combo updater, not the one from Software Update unless it specifically states it is the combo. Software Update will only offer the combo if your system is two or more versions behind.
    If you're not running the latest versions of the iWork apps & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. If you installed from the downloaded trial or the retail box, they must be in the iWork '09 (or '08 if that's what you're using) folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '09. If it doesn't have the '09 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work.

  • How do I change the default color (gray) that 'Edit - Find' uses?

    When I search for a key word in a PDF file viewed in Safari web page using Edit -> Find
    It defaults to highlighting the text it finds in light gray which is very hard to see. I would like to change the highlight color to something much easier to see on the page - like red for instance.

  • Can we Change the backround color of an Input field in Webdynpro for ABAP.

    Hi Experts ?
    Can we change the background color of an Input field in WebDynpro for ABAP based on results we receive from any function module or BAPI?? .
    Thanks in advance .
    Regards ,
    LAS

    Yes. We can change the background of an input field. The way you do this is by editing the theme that webdynpro application uses. To edit the theme, you will need to install NWDS PLUS the theme edit plugin (Available for download from SAP).
    Once you have edited the theme, you will need to upload your theme back to application server. You can use the program : BSP_UPDATE_MIMEREPOS to do this.
    Bydefault, the theme used by webdynpro applications is :
    /SAP/PUBLIC/BC/UR/nw5/themes/sap_tradeshow
    You can apply another theme by calling the webdynpro application with a theme parameter. For example, if my webdynpro application name is "zgopaltest", then
    <i><b>http://<server>:port/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zgopaltest?SAP-EP-THEMEROOT=/SAP/PUBLIC/BC/UR/nw5/themes/sap_tradeshow</b></i>
    will apply the sap_tradeshow theme.
    Likewise, you can apply diffrent theme. There is another theme that SAP provides. Its called : sap_hcb. Hence, you can apply the theme to the above application by:
    <i><b>http://<server>:port/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zgopaltest?SAP-EP-THEMEROOT=/SAP/PUBLIC/BC/UR/nw5/themes/sap_hcb</b></i>

    Hi,
    CSS is interpreted by your browser, so server cache seems unlikely in htis case. There is however some hierarchy in CSS, so parts of the APEX CSS, theme CSS or page CSS might overwright or block yours.
    Does changing the CSS on runtime affect your page? Eg, run the following in your browser console and see if your page turns black: $('#uBodyContainer').css("background-color","black")
    Also try moving up your css in the hierarchy labeling it as important:
    div#uBodyContainer {
      background-color:#000000 !important;

  • How do change the text color in the variable screen ?

    Hi Experts ,
    I would like to know about , How do change the text color in the variable screen ?
    Using web templates (Analytical) can get the output. It has the variable screen contains 6 fields (Company code, Country , Region , COB, Plant and Purchasing Group). I want to make RED color text on Plant. Please help me .
    Thank you ,
    Prasad.

    Hi,
    I am looking for nearly the same. What I have found is that it seems to manipulate the SAP theme that is used in standard when template is executed in the portal. Just display the source code of the HTML and there you will see the included SAP theme (normally SAP_TRADESHOW). Then you have to go to the SAP portal and change this stuff. But for that you have to know where to find it and what impact this change has.
    I am not pretty sure if this is the right way. But as I want to change the standard layout of a whole template to a customer specific layout I think there is no other way in BI7.0.
    Regards,
    Peter

  • Can I change the theme of the bookmarks menu?

    Can I change the theme of the drab gray bookmarks menu? How?
    I had a small image of the booksmarks menu, but your server won't load it.
    Thanks

    Maybe there's an add-on for this? But if not...
    You can use custom style rules to modify the appearance of many parts of Firefox's user interface. Here's an example of a custom style rule applied using the Stylish extension's preview feature (see attached screen shot).
    @namespace url(http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul);
    #bookmarksMenuPopup, #bookmarksMenuPopup menupopup {
    -moz-appearance: none !important;
    background-color: rgb(255, 255, 204) !important; /* Pale yellow background*/
    #bookmarksMenuPopup menu, #bookmarksMenuPopup menuitem {
    color: rgb(0, 0, 255) !important; /* Blue text */
    font-weight: bold !important; /* Bold text */
    I'm not saying that's pretty, but it's possible. You will need to be guided by your own color sense.
    References:
    * Stylish: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/stylish/ (after installing, click its "S" icon on the toolbar and create a blank style, then you can paste the rule and click Preview)
    * If you don't want any more extensions, you can apply custom style rules to the UI by creating or editing a userChrome.css file.
    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/userChrome.css
    * To get color codes, you can use: http://www.visibone.com/colorlab/ There also are sites that show colors which coordinate well together if you can't find a combination you like.
