Changing the TO Priority in LRF1

Hi,
We need to change the TO priority from LRF1 monitor. When I try to highlight the TO and drag up or down, it is not moving in the ALV and changing the priority. It worked for me in my previous projects. Do I need any other additional authorizations for this functionality? I have authorization to LRF1 and I could move the TOs between the queues. But I could not change the TO priority from LRF1. If you have any inputs, please let me know.
Thanks

Hi,
Do you see any value in the Field "TO priority" Colomn, after changing the order.

GK.

  • How to change the unload priority of a table in SAP HANA?

    Hi Experts,
How we can change the unload priority of a table in SAP HANA? I know by default the priority is 5. Is there any way so that we can check the unload priority of a particular table in HANA studio? Is there any SQL statement to get the same?
    Please suggest.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Arindam

    Hello Arindam,
    Just for the future:
ALTER TABLE - SAP HANA SQL and System Views Reference - SAP Library
    To check before hand:
    select
    table_name, unload_priority from SYS.TABLES
    where table_name = '<Your Table>'
    To Make the change:
    alter table <Your Table>unload priority <Priority You Want>.
As you have asked in the BW on HANA section I assume you're on BW and you could also have checked this with tx SE14.
Hopefully the above gives you everything you need.
    Kind Regards,

  • CRM 4.0 ABAP Changing the Delivery priority of an Order

I tried changing the Delivery priority of an Order forcefully through the program  which I was able to do successfully using both the function modules CRM_SHIPPING_PUT_OB and CRM_SHIPPING_MAINTAIN  but when I tried changing the Delivery priority forcefully through the ORDER SAVE badi method-change before update using all the three function modules CRM_SHIPPING_PUT_OB, CRM_SHIPPING_MAINTAIN and CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN it didn't work. I also tried to change it using the shipping BADI but it didn't work.
    Please Advise !!!!

    Hello Gerwin,
Maybe you have to change the start event of your action to another one that occurs outside the CRM_ORDER_SAVE.
There is another thread in the forum called "CRM BADI" where Aidan create an action that save a document.
He is facing some problems too, but it seems that it is not a recursive call problem.
    Take a look at it...

  • BADI to change the PDS priority in ECC

Need to change the priority of the PDS during CIF. Please suggest the BADI which can be used in ECC side.I guess BAdis /SAPAPO/CURTO_SNP and /SAPAPO/CURTO_CREATE.can be used in APO. I need to change PDS value in ECC side while doing CIF or CURTO_CREATE..
    With thanks & regards,
    naveen

    Hi Naveen,
As far as I know, in ECC the PDS is represented by the Production Version.
We don't have a priority to be assigned directly in the Production Version in ECC. The PV determination in ECC can be managed by the locking indicator, the lot sizes, the validity periods and the sequence in which the PV was created.
It can be possible to assign a priority thru a Quota Arrangemenet.

  • How can we change the Job priority in the Source system

    Hi All,
We are facing an issue with the process chain execution in the Production system. We have a process chain which runs daily in BI system and the chain is designed in such a way, that as soon as the chain starts in BI system,  a corresponding job is triggered in the Source system (ECC  6.0system).
Now the issue is that after we have our Source system upgraded the memory allocation for the particular Job (FIGL )is reduced and due to which the FIGL job is failing frequently. When we have consulted some experts. They  advised Us to increase the Priority of the Job in source system to A/1, as of now the job is running in B/2 priority.
Please let us know the way how we can increase the priority of the Source system Job, so that when the process chain triggers a job in source system and that particular jobs  should run with Priority A/1.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Chandra.

    Hi Chandra,
First please find the job name in SM37 for FIGL and check the job status to be in "released" status. Select that job and go to job menu and click on change. then it will take you to the job screen where you have "job class". Here you can change the job class to "A" to get to high priority.
If you are unable to edit the job then create a new job with the same variants by clicking STEP button in the Job screen.
Try these steps, let me know if are able to do so.

  • Changing the job priority of scheduled job

    Hi gurus,
Please let me know how to change the priority of a already scheduled job.I mean to say if a job is scheduled with priority A,now i want to change it to some B or C .How can i do that. Please guide in step wise.....
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Rakesh.

A little tip which might help you in future: If the user only has the authority for object S_BTCH_JOB and not S_BTCH_ADM... then they will only ever be able to schedule class "C" jobs.
When you trace or debug SM37, do not be mislead by the check on S_BTCH_ADM... the user does not need it with the correct S_BTCH_JOB authority. It is only being checked to over-ride the S_BTCH_JOB authority for admins!

  • Is it dangerous to change the priority of a process

i bought a movie in hd but the frame rate gets really bad whenever im playing it with my mba even if dont have any other app running in the background so i want to change the priority of quicktime to -20 but whenever i use the command this message pops up
    sudo renice -20 1134
WARNING: Improper use of the sudo command could lead to data loss
or the deletion of important system files. Please double-check your
typing when using sudo. Type "man sudo" for more information.
and makes me always regret my decission just as im about to press enter, is there any big risk by changing quicktime's priority to max?
    also
is this permanent or would i have to always set priority whenever i feel like playing a movie?

SFC priority is set when an SFC is released in a shop order. However if shop order priority is updated later on the SFC priority stays the same.
As a solution you may create custom functionality to change the SFC priority and then expose it as a web service or UI.
Unfortunately there is no public API to change the SFC priority. We have an OSS ticket with SAP requesting this method in API.
Temporary the workaround is to use domain services to update the priority.

  • Is there a way to change the pinch-to-zoom feature?

Is there a way to change the behavior of pinch-to-zoom in Safari 5.1.4 on Lion?  It seems to have adopted the iOS zoom (where it's a zoom into an area on the page) and I would prefer that it emulated a Command-+ type of page zoom.  When using pinch-to-zoom in a site like Gmail or Google Reader, the content ends up requiring horizontal scrolling if you pinch-to-zoom... while Command-+ increases the size of everything but keeps it within a single screen.
Can this be done?  Is there the equivalent of the about:config page from Firefox?
Apple... can you fix this (or offer an option to determine how pinch-to-zoom works in Safari)?!?!
    Thanks!
    - John

    Thanks for your response.
I have searched for a solution to change the order of my tags and haven't found it.
I add multiple tags to my emails and the color at a glance means something to me - if I add an earlier, more up the priority ladder it shows that color instead of the one that I want. I'm rambling but the fact remains that I would like to be able to change the tag priority.
    Have a great one!

  • Change the order within the navigation panel

    Hi everybody,
within my navigation panel i have two iview, the detail navigation and an own iView (Web Dynpro within the dynamic navigation of a page). Until now the detail navigation appears at the first position in the navigation panel. How can i change the order within the navigation panel so that my own iView will be shown at the first position?
    regards,
    Sid

    Hi Raji,
iviews can be ordered alphabetical. You can set this function in Systemadministration -> Service-Konfiguration -> Applications -> com.sap.portal.ivs.iviewservice -> iViewsSrv. Then you can set this value to ture (sorting true).
You can also change the sort-priority value in the property of each iview to 0..n.
I hope this will help you.
    regards,
    Sid

  • (How) Can I change vi execution priority at runtime

    Hi all,
I am using Daemons (free running VI's) and I communicate to them through Queues.
They are part of my device driver architecture and use a producer architecture (For Acquisition) or a consumer Architecture (For Control)
I have a single Daemon VI to which I deploy a "Device Object" using a Polymorphic class implimentation.
This implimentation has one subtle shortfall,
I am not able to change the execution priority at launch
There is a property node that taunts that it is possible but the help (And run time Error message) says it not available at runtime.
Does anyone know of an alternative method?
Here are what I have thought of to-date:
    1. Have 5 different daemons each with a different priority [Distasteful for Code maintainance]
    2. Make Priority Low, and ensure that at least 1 VI in the driver has a high priority [Not sure if it works, obscure implimentation]

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Ben,
I debated wheter or not to put more information in my post, I didn't want to bore my potential support Sensei's.
    Here Goes:
As I hinted in my initial post, I am devoloping a set of drivers for my large application.
I am using a compact Field Point and am under some fairly aggressive rescource pressures.
Heavy RS422/485 Serial Comms @115200, Digital Acquisition and some heavy data processing.
My understanding of this type of system (Jump in if you have any improvement suggestions):
Priority #1 [High Priority](Producer) is to get data out of the Acquisition Buffers and in my case, perform Writes/Outputs/control activities as demanded.
So any "Hardware" Device Driver Daemons that I lanuch need to be run at high priority.  The drivers should do as little as is necessary so as not to hog this thread. Event based architecure is preferred over polled.
These drivers tend to be launched as Daemons so that they can run in a different priority and are not affected by other activities, they are inherently asynchronus.
    Priority #2 [Above Normal Priority](Consumer->Producer) Protocol/state interpretation/Data Filtering.
Now that the data is out of the buffers, what does it mean? is it a valid communicationss message, was there a button pushed, is there an object in the transducer field.
These functions may take a bit longer (but not too much) to execute, but as they are on a lower priority, buffers can continue to be emptied.
These "filters" tend to be launched as Daemons also so that they can run in a different priority and are not affected by other activities they are inherently asynchronus.
Priority #3 [Normal Priority](Consumer) Number Crunching, Heavy Lifting , Control determination..
An event has occurred and some caculation interpretation and potentialy control needs to be performed, Do it.
Tend to be event based and as there are multiple stimulii tend to be best managed by an event structure.  This allows for interaction with the front panel as well (should the need arise).
    Priority #4 [Low Priority](Slip-Scheduled) User interface/User Data/Report Generation.
Who Cares if it is a bit late, Work away in background.  In the case of user updates, they can slip later and later, no need to catch up.
For others reading this thread, I found This Module Help invaluable in understanding how Labview manages execution priority.
Theory Done, I am essentialy a lazy programmer, and don't like to write and maintain too many different .vi's if I can help it, <Rant> ESPECIALY IF THEY ARE THE SAME VI WITH A DIFFERENT PRIORITY! </rant>.
So I have written one Daemon and one Daemon manager (to rule them all). For each driver I require, I launch a Daemon, passing the "Base" Class object to the Daemon prior to Run, I rely on the override capability of polymorphism to choose the correct methods.
My "Base" Driver class contains all of the functions required for operation.  I use it as an enforcable template for future driver development (It also auto fills in my Icon's wich is great for a Lazy Programmer like me).
I have established that my protocol driver (Priority #2) is compatable with the same daemon Architecture from above, Instead of looking at hardware, it monitors a Queue/Notifier/User Events from the lower level hardware driver.
I was very smug when I figured that one out, until.... I realised that they would need to be launched at different priorities to respect the RTOS, and thus my question.
I am not trying to change priority per-se, but to choose one prior to launch and then to leave it.

  • How a switch conveys that the brige priority is made lower compared to the present root briges ?

If there are there switches connected in a full mesh topology say A ,B, C having same bridge priority . After stp convergence  A has become the root bridge
if i change the bridge priority of B , how this information will be conveyed, to my knowledge other than root bridge no switches will generate bpdu by themselves it will simply relay by changing the sender bridge id once stp convergence is over .? can you guys please let me know

    Hi,
It depends most of the STP protocol you have running; BPDUs packets are sent in different times (for example, RSTP is faster than STP because it has only 3 states). According to this, switches sent BPDU packets in a certain time. When hosts discover another switch with best priority, STP run again in order to re-converged the network and elect news root, designated and block ports
I hope it could explain, if not, maybe I could do a little topology.
    Best regards.

  • Is it possible to change the priority of emails in my income folder?

    Hey everyone?!
I want to change the priority of mails in my income folder.

You could put a "flag" on it for high priority and then filter by flagged mails.  More generally, you can create a "smart mailbox" (Mailbox menu) and use it to filter the high priority messages.

  • Dynamically change the Priority Group of Logical Table Sources in OBIEE 11g

    Hi All,
I have 2 Logical Table Sources(LTS 1 and LTS 2 for a Logical Table in BMM Layer).
    Example: Logical Table : Sample
LTS Source 1 : Sample 1(Priority Group Set to 1)
LTS Source 2 : Sample 2(Priority Group Set to 0)
I have set the Priority Group of Sample 1 LTS Source to 1 and Priority Group of Sample 2 LTS Source to 0.
I need to dynamically change the Priority Group of Sample 1 LTS Source to 0 if my role is DEVELOPER where role is a column in database.
If my role is not equal to DEVELOPER then the Priority Group of Sample 1 LTS Source will remain same(1).
Please suggest how can i achieve this.
    Thanks,

  • Unable to change the thread's priority at linux jdk6

i try to set the thread's priority to value like Thread.MIN_PRIORITY
i observe the thread's priority by "threadump"
the setting is ok at windows (XP + jdk5 build 1.5.0_12-b04)
but not at linux jdk6 (build 1.6.0_04-b12)
at linux, i see all threads at my server are with priority "10"
(e.g. gc, finalizer, http listener etc)
i am using tomcat (running as root), i have tried to set the "default thread priority", but still can't change the thread's priority
and i have tried to add jvm options to "turn on" thread priority:
    -XX:+UseThreadPriorities -XX:ThreadPriorityPolicy=1
    but still no use
so i guess this should be a problem of "linux" or jvm
is there any hint if it is about jvm problem?
    thanks

  • How to change the priority of workitem

im using the task to trigger the work item.
normally the work item is coming with priority 5 that is medium. can i trigger the workitem with the priority decided by me in the method?
generally who will decide the priority of the work item ?
    please suggest.
    Raghu

You can change the priority at runtime using Function module
    SAP_WAPI_CHANGE_WORKITEM_PRIO
    or
you can define the priority in the Workflow step from the OTHER or MISCELLANEOUS Tab.
