Changing the UIScrolView animation speed on setContentOffset:animated:?

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to change the UIScrollView animation speed when calling setContentOffset:animated:? I would like to control the speed of the scrolling animation, but I am not sure how. Also, I am wondering if it is possible to stop the animation before it has completed?

    Not in Premiere Elements.
    You'll need to use Premiere Elements to burn the DVD files to a folder, and then use a program like the excellent, free ImgBurn to burn the VIDEO_TS folder to a disc at a slower speed.

    I have an overclocked 700MHz (now 900MHz) eMac, with a 100MHz system bus speed, and I am wondering, is the only way of messing with the processor speed overclocking it? And if you CAN change the bus speed, will it make the eMac feel any faster? Since the processor is at 900MHz, I would like the bus speed to be around 750-850MHz. Is that even possible? I've tried googling this kinda thing, but all I get is how to overclock it. (I got that part already, I just want to know if I can change the system bus speed too.)

    I'm thinking that, with two months of viewing, it either isn't possible or offeres too much risk of turning the computer into an expensive doorstop.
    The Beige G3's bus speed was controlled by jumpers, relatively easy to tweak. Newer Macs tend to be hardwired

    I have a MSI GTX 760 and I would like to change the default fan speeds. I can do this in MSI Afterburner, but this is a multi user pc and I want the fan speed to be for every user?

    Hmm guess best answer is, Just dont get a msi display card. If there not going to fix a problems with fan speed's.
    And MSI gaming app in OC mode makes the fan go no faster than 35%, click normal mode and go's higher.
    Just use Gpu-z run test and watch the temp increase. 1 of the ways i have tested.
    I feel quite let down as this is not the first time I have reported this and asked for help.
    This thread just seems to be for UEFI bios.

  • IK Bone Tool - How to change the picture of a bodypart in animation?

    I don't know how to word this any better. I have a puppet and all ready for animation. Now the question is how can I change the picture of a body part? Example on how I thought it would work: I have a walking puppet, and I can change the picture of the foot for example, when it steps on the ground. Or I can change the picture of the hand, by adding another keyframe and select that one. I could for example change the weapon the character has in his hand while walking, or the picture of the eyes from open to closed, for just 2 frames of the animation. How do I do that? I can't find a way. Simply adding another keyframe to the hand-movieclip doesn't work, it just plays both of these back all the time then.

    But swapping it through the properties windows swaps it for the whole animation. That is good for getting animations with different objects in the characters hands, but its not exactly how I want it. I only want it to be swapped for the frames in which I set it to something else, and then it goes back to normal.
    Like the character runs and closes his eyes while running, so I wanna switch the picture of the eyes for those few frames. I don't exactly understand how you mean that.
    I'm not sure how you mean that with the adding frames in the timeline, maybe that is exactly what I mean but I dont understand it. Do you mean in the main timeline? I don't get it. If I put another frame in one of the movie clips (for the hand for example) it plays the whole time, so it changes between the two hand versions all the time while he is walking.
    And to the video link above, that only seems to explain the basic bone thing, not my question. I already have a skeleton set up.

  • Change the speed of keyframed animations over time???

    First and foremost, allow me to present the caviat that I've spent the past couple hours searching the Forum as well as help documents and Apple's site trying to crack this nut.
    I have an image of a heart that I've animated to beat like a real heart by applying keyframes to the fisheye filter on the image. I want the heart rate to progressively increase as the video plays out, but to change the increments between every single keyframe seems pretty ridiculous to me. Scrub-mapping (or whatever you call it) won't work in this case, already tried it. Doesn't seem to apply to animations like that, unless I'm not doing it right. Is there any way I can make this work without having to render the heart out as a video and then re-import it into Motion and apply scrub-mapping, or should I just grit my teeth and render it out by itself and speed it up from there? I'm afraid I'll lose the smoothness of the animation if I do that... help!

  • Changing animation frame rate when rendering in photoshop does not change the length of the video?

    I made a walk cycle animation in Photoshop CS6 and want to render it into a quicktime format. I'd like it to be 12 fps, but when I rendered it at 12 fps the video seemed to be missing frames, and the video was 3 seconds long. I have 98 frames to my animation; doing the math, at 12 fps it should be 8 seconds long. Not 3.
    I was confused and for curiosity's sake I rendered the video at 6 fps, trying to really slow it down. The video ended up being STILL 3 seconds long and only maybe 20 frames. I was missing literally 70 frames. I'm so upset with this rendering thing, I could chuck my computer at the wall.
    Does anybody know of a solution to this?
    edit: If it means anything, I've tried rendering it straight from the frame view and the timeline view. Each time I render it I have the timeline frame rate match the rendering frame rate as well.

    Changing the frame rate should not change the length of a video timeline. It should just change the number of frames that are rendered.  To change the length of a video you need to change the length of the video timeline.  If you increase the length of the timeline and there is audio I'm quite sure there will be a problem with it,  The Video part will most likely be better then the sound. The required number of extra frames can be generated however the video may look like slow motion. If you decrease the length the motion will speed up.  The length of a video is normally done be editing video clips which are trimmed and stitched together to get the desired duration. Not normally done by altering the duration of a clip.
    The duration a of Frame animation is the sum of the times each frame is displayed.  In a frame animation the length of time a frame is displayed can be varied it not a normal motion picture video.  To have a smooth frame animation you need a sufficient number of frames that are different from each other to show smooth motion.  You can use Photoshop Frame animation tween feature to have Photoshop manufacture frames to help with a smoothing the animation.   Once you have a frame animation the length with the motion you want you can have Photoshop convert it to a video timeline and render a normal motion picture video.  It will not have audio but you can add audio to it.

    Keynote 6.1 is stable and works perfectly well for new presentations, continuing to use Keynote 5  for existing projects is a well accepted workflow.

    Yep your are right its not possible to change the frame rate of Animate content timeline.
    But you can have the same symbol at different timeline durations and play one of them based on your parameters to give illusion of  symbol playing at different frame rates.

    If you import your still images using iPhoto, then the time you set for each still, using FCPX Perferences works.
    You can set the durantion from 1 frame to as long as you want them view.
    If you do not use iPhoto to import your stills, the default is 10 sec's.
    FYI: This issue was brought up within a month after FCPX was released. They found out by using iPhoto, you had better control of the amount of time your still was viewed.

    Does anyone know how to change the default colour of the animated container box that indicates the selected comment in a PDF's Comments List.
    I get PDFs back from clients with sometimes with 30 small changes indicated per page. As I go through the changes in the Comments List, I tick of the boxes as I complete the changes. So as I select the comments in the list, I'm then looking for the area in the design that's being referenced so I can jump into InDesign and make the change. I find that on copy-dense pages the light blue animated line (shown in the attached photo) gets lost and I'm sometimes scanning all over the page looking for it.
    If I could change it's colour to something that would jump off the page more (say bright red or green), it would make my life a bit easier, and make the flow of processing changes a little faster.
    Does anyone know if/how I can do this? I looked all through the preferences and could not find anything.

    Hopefully they'll make that customizable at some point - will make the workflow smoother for sure. Seems like it would be a simple thing to implement...

  • How to control the speed of an animation in Flash Catalyst

    I had created a simple slide show  in Flash and published as a .swf file. The slide show contains few  images and the animation takes about 45 seconds to run at 8 frames per  second. When i imported it into Flash Catalyst, the animationa runs very  fast, taking only about 15 seconds to get through the whole slide show.  I re-adjusted the animation in Flash to make it run slower but when i  imported the new version into flash catalyst, it runs at the same speed,  --still very fast.
    Is there any way for me to control the speed of my animation and make it runs the same speed as I set up in Flash?

    It takes a little effort in Flash Builder. but it should work. I am assuming your custom component goes from state 1 to state 2, and all the effects occur in the timeline?
    The other option is to go back to Flash Profession and have it do the looping.
