Changing the version of the project

Dear All,
I would like to change the project version from 2 to 1. Can you please help in providing the steps? I've searched the forums regarding the solution but i did not get it.
Regards,Sudha.I

Hi,
I am assuming you are talking about the "Project Version" concept and looking to view details in individual versions. If yes; you can see the same in CN41 report where in you canpull up project versions from "Evaluation" menu option.

Is there a way to change the project timecode in FCPX?  So that my sequence can start at 01:00:00:00 or am I stuck
    with it starting at 0?

I guess you could, but that would be an hour long gap clip before your sequence which would make for a very
unweildy sequence.  Especially since this cut will be only about a minute.

  • How to restrict the user to change the project structure but not the documents?

    Hi,
I have created one project assigning different users in Solution manger. I want to risitrict some of the users to change the project structure but simultaneously allwoing the project documents to be created, edited or deleted using solar01 under Project documentation tab. For that I have followed the steps provided in the follwoing link.
    http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/SM/Howto+Restrict+Changes+to+Project+Nodes+to+Assigned+Team+Members
I am able to restrict the users to change the project structure, but I am not able to allow access to the project documents. It gives me the message "You are not authorised to change the project". This fulfills my one of the requirements. But, Is there any way  to restrict the user to change the project structure but not the documents?. Any help will be apperitiated.
    Thanks,
    Rutvik Uapdhyay.

    Hi Rutvik,
Basically there are 2 different authorization role ...you should look for and customize as per requirement in Z* namespace.
    role  - SAP_SOLAR01_ALL
this take care of objects in Solar01 like tab access etc
    role -SAP_SOL_KW_ALL
this takes care of entire documentation within solman
    hope this helps

  • Prevent a user from changing the Project ID in P6 EPPM 8.3.7

Does anyone know if there is a Global or Project Security Profile privilege that will prevent a user from changing the Project ID on an existing Project?  We are using Primavera P6 EPPM 8.3.7
    Thank you,
    Eric

    Hi,
Below project security profile may help you,
    Edit Project Details Except Costs/Financials
Determines whether the profile will enable users to edit fields in General, Dates, Defaults, Resources, and Settings tabs in Project Details. To assign a project baselines, users must also have the "Assign Project Baselines" project privilege assigned to their profile.

On a side note, 'projects' do not have as aspect ratio, sequences and footage do.  And a project can contain any number of sequences or footage.

How do you change the project calender without changing the individual existing activities?

    Hello,
To modify an existing calendar, go to Enterprise > Calendars. Then click on the calendar to modify and hit 'Modify', and make the desired changes.
To assign a different calendar to an activity, click on that activty, go to the General tab in the Activity Details on the bottom of the screen. Under the General tab, on the right hand side, there is drop down menu for Activity Calendar. You can change the assigned calendar for that activity with this menu.

  • How to change the project's language?

    Hello,
When creating a new DynPro Project you need to choose the Project language when you set the Project name. The default there is: "American English".
Let's say I've created a project based on a certain language. Is it possible to change this language later on in the project? If yes, then where?

    hi Roy,
Do u want to change the language in which the application is displayed. In that case u can creat .xlf files for the same and add it in the project.
The language can be changed in the web browser. The appropriate xlf file data will be picked then.
For  creating .xlf files u can chk this link
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/04/ee8b8b0d23b746854897adc5611c1d/frameset.htm

I would be least surprised if this doesn't fit ur requirements. coz am not sure if this what u want.

  • I would like to change the project page layouts, but setup option in Project Superuser are not available. How can I change the selected page layouts?

    Hi
I updated the page layouts for a project in Project Management. Now I woujld like to change those chosen page layouts, but the setup options for the project are no longer available for me to change. How can I update the original chosen page layouts (for performance management) to different layouts or change the chosen layouts to the default (blank) layouts?
    Thanks

    AppleMan,
It all began inside the settings of my Sanyo VPC-HD2000A when somehow the selection got switched from 1280 x 720 to that other setting with so-called 25fps. Also, I don't know whether the mishap occurred before or after I took my new footage.
I edited the clips last night and now they are on my blog and channel and they seem ok but slightly fuzzy.
I used a Sanyo VPC-HD2000A .7x wide angle lens with macro and I notice that when I zoomed in to the little sun conure, the picture blurred. I think that might be something that happens when one zooms the focus.
Also, I was born and raised to a teenager in Hawaii, but now Southern California has me in its grip.

  • How to change the project which is always loaded at startup?

    Hi all,
when Logic Express (7.1) starts, it always automatically opens an "Untitled.Iso Arrange" window. The first thing I have to do is to close this and open my own arrangement which I have configured as some sort of starting point for me. Is there any way to tell Logic that it should open this file instead of its generic one when Logic starts? I know that I could start it by double-clicking my "start project" in the Finder, but that's not what I'm looking for...
    Thanks
    Björn

    Autoload Song
Logic allows you to define one template that is automatically loaded each time Logic is booted. This template is called the Autoload Song.
To create your personal Autoload Song:
1 Customize a song to meet your requirements (more on this is discussed in the following chapters).
2 Choose File > Save As Template in Logic’s main menu bar.
3 Ensure that the Song Templates folder is selected in the dialog box that launches.
4 Type “Autoload” into the Name field.
Your Autoload Song will be opened automatically the next time you launch Logic.
Logic allows you to create and save any song as a template file, which can be used as a basis for new projects. The Autoload Song is an example of a template file, but you may wish to create several templates for; scoring tasks, audio only projects, MIDI only projects and so on, as your personal needs require.

  • Project creation when the project number is changed

    Hi,
The project number has been changed by the user, for the same project(eg.AC-200) project version is also created and commitment items are also there.
Could some one tell me how to solve this problem, since it is not allowing to change the number of the project again. It throws out a message saying that, project version is created.
    Thanks
    Arun.An

    Hi,
On creation of Project, there will be project version created in back ground. It will be difficult to change the project numbers  after completion of the complete projects. However project number hierachy can be changed.

  • How can I change the tempo (and the snap grid) of the project without altering the duration of the original audio clips?

This question is for Logic Express.
I have many very short audio clips that I recorded into my project.
I want to adjust the project tempo so that I can use the snap grid to make a beat out of my short audio clips. But when I change the project tempo, it automatically adjusts the lengths of my audio clips.
So how can I change the tempo (and the snap grid) of the project without altering the original audio clips?

The reason some files sound funny and others don't is because audio is handled a few different in Garageband depending on it's source (audio your recorded vs Apple Loops vs non Apple Loop pre recorded audio). Each of these have different color regions with different properties.  I just found this thread that might better explain it:

    I hope that helps!

  • HOW DO I CHANGE THE PITCH OF A MP3 TRACK IN GARAGE BAND 10.0.02

HOW DO I CHANGE THE PITCH OF A MP3 TRACK IN GARAGE BAND 10.0.02 , i could do it in old version looking at the you tube video, now the screen looks different cant find how to do it. Can some one put up a video please
    Thanks

    There are three ways:
Use an AuPitch filter on the track
Or turn the audio region into a loop
Enable "Follow Tempo and Pitch" for the track and use the transposition slider (that does not always work reliably)
    To add an AuPitch filter:
Enable the audio Units in the GarageBand Preferences and then open the Smart Controls.
To add the AuPitch filter audio unit, click the Audio Unit button and enlarge the Smart Controls pane by dragging the dividing line to the Track Area upwards.
click the Audio Units Brick and add the AuPitch filter:
Type the pitch change in cents (100 cents per half note step) into the text field below the pitch control.
To create a loop from the audio file:
Select the region in the track and use the command "File: Add region to Loop library".
Set the current key and tempo, name the loop, and save the loop.
Now add it from the loop browser to a new track and delete your old track. The search field in the Loop browser will help you to find the loop quickly.
You will be able to transpose the sample like a regular loo by changing the project key.
