Changing the viewing order of ipod

When I click on a playlist on the ipod it shows the name of the song playing, but I would like to have the album name shown first then the name of the song. Is there a way of doing this? I found that I can change all the columns in itune but the name column will not move. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thank you for answering. It would of been nice to put the album title first. The reason I wanted to reverse them was I had a bunch of (coast to coast) talk radio programs and coast to coast is displayed in the name catagory. I suppose I could go in to (get information) and change the layout but that is a lot of work.

I can't change the view/order of music on my iPhone in iTunes.

So, my iPhone is plugged into my MacBook Pro. iTunes is open, the iPhone is in my left column. I select the "Music" sub-cat under my iPhone, which shows me the songs on my iPhone. I cannot change the view or order in which the songs are listed. So I can't sort by name, or artist or album. It appears to be locked on genre, and only the standard list view is available.
I've restarted the phone. I've changed all sorts of setting in iTunes preferences. I am able to add songs, but I can only delete if I go into the "manually added songs" list.
I think this was an issue before I upgraded to Lion. Any ideas?

To Reset your Photo Stream, follow these instructions:
From a computer browser, go to icloud.com and sign in.
Click on your name on the iCloud home page (this is the page that shows all the app icons). If you do not see your name, click the cloud icon in the top left of the page.
Click Advanced.
Here you will see the Reset Photo Stream button. Clicking this button will remove all your Photo Stream photos from iCloud. Once removed, they cannot be recovered, but you can re-upload any photos you'd like to restore to your Photo Stream from a Mac or PC.

To change the ID:
For iMessage, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive (Receive At in iOS 5), tap the ID sign out, sign back in using the other ID.
For FaceTime, do the same thing in Settings>Facetime.
For Purchasing, do this in Settings>iTunes & App Stores (Settings>Store in iOS 5).
For iCloud, you'll have to delete the account, create a new account with the other ID, and migrate your data to the new account. Before deleting the account, if you have any photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else save these to your camera roll or you will lose them. To do this, open the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On iPod. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.

I've recently hit a problem with the Save and Open dialogs in Mavericks. Some how I have changed the sort order within the Column View so that it sorts by modified date and no longer by name. Unfortunately I can't work out how that happened or how to get it back so that it sorts by Name.
Please could anyone help?

How do I change the PDF order in a portfolio?

I have been creating a PDF portfolio and would like to know how to change the specific order of the files as they appear in the carosel. I have tried all of the view modes, dragging and dropping doesn't work, renaming and adding 1,2,3 or a,b,c doesn't work.
I just want to be able to place the pdfs in a specific order. Any help would be appreciated.

Why does this (i.e. support at Apple.com) not explain how to change the sort order? I can "arrange" by Date Modified for example but it won't let me switch to use most recent dates first. Also, what is Apple-speak for arrange versus sort anyway? It seems I used to be able to click on a column heading in finder and get a drop down arrow allowing me to change the sort sequence.

Arrange roughly translates to "group the items in the folder." Sort is how each group is ordered. If you have arrange set to none, you can sort by anything. However, there is no way in the Arrange/Sort menu to choose the direction. The only way to do that is in the List View, and you must have Arrangement set to None.
I've submitted an Enhancement Request to allow choosing sort direction from the Arrange/Sort menu, but I haven't ever gotten a response, which is good and bad. Good because they will often respond that they have considered it and don't plan on implementing. Bad in that they've haven't implemented it.

I'm doing a video showreel and need to change the running order of movies that I'm using. My menu page lists the 4 movies in a vertical list, which is fine, except I'd like to move the last one up the running order in the menu.

You can drag the sub-item (movies) back into the parent item and it will place the item you dragged into it at the "end" (on the right looking at it in the top-down tree view.) You cannot put the first item on the end, but you can get around this by putting it into a child node and then back into the parent node.

How to manage pages without changing the view?

Often, at the stage of creation of the project such as the logo I create many similar pages for each of the mutation idea. Usually, at the end, leaves me a few dozen versions for further work. At this stage I want to make the ordering party and that in the name artboards. To this end choose the larger falling all pages in a single view.
Unfortunately, any change in the name of the page, or even click on a page in a palette Artboards to move it to the list to change the view to fit the page.
As a result, at this stage, a simple arrangement of work varies annoying, constantly changing view of the views of all parties.

If the only output you have set up on the AppleTV is to the television via HDMI, of course not. The TV will only play video/audio based on the selected input. If you use the optical audio output to a receiver or amp, then yes. This bypasses the TV altogether. I use this when listening to music and control it via the Remote app on an iPad, or Airplay from something like Spotify.

There are different methods of doing that, you can either create a view on that table which will retrieve the columns in the correct order, or you can copy and rename the table using CREATE TABLE AS SELECT ..., or you can use the online table redefinition functionality if your using 10g.

So it's 2009, I'm 25 and a big fan of technology, but it was only yesterday that I bought my very first iPod. I'm loving it, but I have a small (very small) issue.
I transferred a CD to the iPod using iTunes, but it put the very first song at the end of the album, instead of the beginning. Everything else is in order, and none of my other CDs did this. Is there a way I can change the playing order of songs on my iPod so that it's correct?

When you right click on a file and go to "get info," you'll then go to the "info" tab. Once you're there, there's a field where you can type in the track # (it'll say track __ out of __). The second blank should be filled in with the number representing how many tracks are in the album. You go from file to file typing in the correct track number.
Once you've done that if they still aren't showing up in the proper order in your library, you just right click the bar that labels the sections (like name, time, artist, etc.) and a list will pop up with all the different sections you can have displayed. All the ones that are already being displayed have check marks next to them. The second to last one is "track number." You'll want to click on this. Once you're looking at the album again in your library, you'll see the new section added. If you click on the bar that's labeled "track number" to highlight it, it should put all the songs in the right order. If it flips everything backwards, starting with the last song first, just click on the label again and the order will be reversed.

Views for list web parts. Is there a way to allow users to change the view for a list web part without being redirected?

Hi,
I added a list view web part into a SharePoint 2013 page and it is working as expected, except for one thing.
I have enabled the option for the user to change the view for the web part. However when the user changes it, the user is redirected away from the page containing the web part, to the URL of the list itself.
Is there a way to circumvent this issue so when the user selects a different view it updates the listing in the web part itself, rather than the user being redirected?

Hi,
Please understand that one page can only display one view. You could find it out by observing the Address in browser when switching among different views for a list.
If you would like to change the view of a list web part, you could go to web part propertites > Select view and configure it.
