Changing UoM in PO which is defaulted from Contract

Dear MM experts,
I have a Contract with a UoM UGL and now want to create a PO with reference to this contract, but I want to create with UoM UG6. The system does not allow it in PO as the field is grayed out. Is there a standard way by which this UoM can be changed in PO.

Hi,
Since you are creating the PO with reference to Contract, the data in contract gets copied into the PO. Hence you can't edit the UOM in PO.
If you want to change the UOM, then edit the same in contract itself so that it gets copied at the time of PO Creation.

I want to change a column value based on my calculated field value. I have a column which is coming from DO which is based on External Data Source. I have a calculated field in my report. When there is any change in the calculated field then the column which is coming from DO needs to be changed. It means the DO needs to get updated when there is a change in the calculated field. Or like if the calculated field meets some condition then I need to change/update the same in the DO. This has to be done on the fly. the report should not submitted for this. when there is a change in the calculated column the DO column needs to get updated.

Changing UoM of Item which has a transaction

we are going to change UoM of one Item in inventory, But this Item has transaction in system , and also some onhand. how we can do this task by consider the cost and quantity?

Dear Farhadn,
It is not possible to change the items UoM once there are transactions linked to the item. This is the current system definition of SAP Business One.
However, you can use factors (in the item master data) and Base units in marketing documents as workaround.

How to change the price in sales order copying from contract?

I am creating a sales order with reference to contract & the same prices in the contract are flowing. But the validity of prices are expired & I am unable to edit the prices in the sales oerder level.

The configurational setting for changing the pricing flow from Contract to Sales Order is in Copying control. Go to the T-code VTAA and select your relevant Contract and Sales Order. At the Item level itself, you shall find a control called PRICING TYPE. Select the option as B or C.
Please try out this approach so that your issue related to pricing flow can be avoided.

Why is information defaulting from Contract and not from PIR in the PO?

Hi Gurus,
As far as I knew, the information in the PIR (Purchase Info Record) should get importance, while getting defaulted into the PO. The planned delivery time in PIR is different than that in the material master and the price in the contract is also different from that in PIR. Now, when I am creating a Standard PO (doc type NB), and putting the contract and line item in the outline agreement column, and hitting enter, the price is pulled up from contract. Although, I can see the info record in the correct column, but price is not defaulting from there. Again, the delivery time is calculated based on the planned delivery days in the material master (GR processing time = zero) and NOT from the Planned delivery time value in the Info record.
I think, I am doing something wrong or there is something wrong in my understanding. Please help.

Hi Kumar,
If there's 2 source in the PO (Contract and Info record), the system will take the source from Contract, as its SAP standard design that contract has a higher priority then PIR. To make sure it, check to your Contract document as well , if the info update is updating the condition or not.
You can perform a simple test also, create a PO with only PIR and a PO with Contract and PIR, you will see the difference.

I have Created a PR without material (i.e for Projects) and entered UoM as EA
I have created a PO w.r.t PR and saved it.
Now i want to change the UoM from EA to AU but system is giving me error.
"Order unit AU not convertible into unit EA of requisition"
So i tried changing in PR but in PR the UoM field is disabled so i cant change the UoM there also
Can you plz guide me what could be the solution to resolve this issue.

UoM cant be changed...
It can be chaged only if..
If there are no stocks of the material in the current period and in the previous period
If there are stocks in the previous period, you can clear them as follows:
a) Post the stock in the previous period to the current period (for example, using movement type 561) so that the stock for the previous period is the same as the stock for the current period.
b) Clear the stock with the posting date in the previous period (for example, using movement type 562).
If no purchase requisitions, purchase orders, or scheduling agreements exist for the material

Automatic pricing in Purchase Order from contract

Dear Experts,
In a po if there is no contract available the pricing should be able to key in manually.
is there any provisions to maintaining price list or any other method to get pricing automatically in to po?
If there is contract exists, the pricing is coming automatically. But it is in changeable mode, our requirement is it should not be allowed to be changed manually.
Is it possible?

If thinking logically, then its bettwe to not to change the setting for displaying the price in the PO which will flow from contract..this is because thecontract is the internal doc while the PO is first external doc...In which all the req. changes like qty, value etc shd be possible ....because if it goes wrong, then whole process may get affected, so its suggested taht you don't change the setting...
Secondly, If you don't use the contract then its better to go for Purcahse info record, which contains price of vendor material combination and which will also flow...

Default sloc determination in OBD which is created from STO

In case of STO, if supplying plant has 2 sloc lets say 001 and 002. If we want picking should happen from 001 or sometime 002 then how we can make this sloc defaulted in OBD? Please note u2013 we are creating the OBD from STO
In short my question is, How to make desired sloc defaulted in OBD which is created from stock transport order?

Hi,
In SPRO>LE> Shipping>Picking>Determine Picking location>Assign Picking Locations> , you maintain the proper entries.
Enter the storage location that you want to be defaulted in OBD against Shipping Point/Shipping Conditions combination.
Wehn you create STO PO, you can change the proposed shipping conditions or shipping points. You can aslo do it in ME22n befor generating delivery in VL10B.
In PO's Shipping Tab, Shipping condition arrives from customer master.
Loading grroup arrives from Material master : sales view 2.
Shiping point will be determined from the config done in LE> Shipping>Basic Shipping Functions---> Assign shipping Points.(entered against SC/Lgrp/Plant Combination).
Later, you enter picking storage location(To be defaulted in OBD) in above given path for the correct combination of Shpt/Plnt/SC.
If you maintain settings properly in above 2 SPRO path and Loading group in Material master (SD veiw) and Shipping conditions in customer master properly, this results in proper determination of shipping point in shipping tab of ME21N and hence the OBD will be created with Default Storage location as you desired

3rd party email addresses have to be deleted on every synmced mac product, although I have 1and1.co.uk and my imac updatetes the mails in that account from mac mail.
Yahoo etc is a 2 step deleting process but good to get your emails pushed when on the go.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. Thank you. That works when I double click a RAW image, (opens in ACR then when I open from there it goes to CC) but when I double click a jpg it goes straight to CS6. I'm hoping there is a way to change the default, but haven't found yet. I don't want to remove CS6.
