Changing WLSE e-mail sender ID

I can´t find how to change the WLSE e-mail sender ID, and it uses the default account. How can I change this parameter?

Currently there is no way to change the email sender id.

  • Changing the default mail sender name in Application server

    Hi,
how do I change default mail sender name in application server.
    It is administrator@application by default.

Does the email send from the operating system (sendmail ) or from the IAS?
If its from the ias , then its in the httpd.conf.
If its from the Operating system then I dont rememeber
If you have a non windows platform (like unix) easiest way will be to do a grep for "administrator@application "

  • For FaceTime, can you add an additional e-mail that is not your Apple ID e-mail?  Everytime I try to do this on my iPad it sends me a verification e-mail saying I am trying to change the e-mail address associated with my apple ID and wants me to verify.

I am trying to add another e-mail address to FaceTime, but do not want to change the e-mail address associated with my Apple ID.  Everytime I try to add the e-mail address in my FaceTime settings, it send me a verification e-mail asking me to verify that I want to change to this new e-mail address for my apple ID.  I do not.  I just want to have an additional e-mail address for people to contact me via FaceTime. Does anyone know how to do this?

You can have multiple addresses associated with your apple id. You will have to verify any changes before they can be added and this is done by sending you an email. This is to protect you from someone else makeing changes to your account.
You can make any changes and view all your info here:

  • My ISP tells me I need to I need to change the port to send/receive e-mails, but I can't remember my Mail password to add an account. How can I proceed without the password?

My ISP tells me I need to change the port to send/receive mail, as the current port is going to be disabled for security reasons. But I can't remember my Mail password to add an account. How can I add an account when I don't remember my password? It's been several years.

your email password is with your ISP so they can help. but if it is saved in the email app you can just change the ports in the preferneces without a password.

  • Mail Sender - Encoding (I need to change from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1)

    Hi,
I'm getting data from email (in ms exchange) using the Mail Sender Adapter.
In the e-mails exists characters as ç (ccedil), ã (atilde), õ (otilde) and others. The XI cannot read this characters because the encode in XML is UTF-8.
How I do to change the encode in XI from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1 ?
    Thank you!

Unfortunately most mail server do not apply the codepage to the content type of a mail.
In this case you have to set the content type with help of the MessageTransformBean:
    Transform.ContentType      text/plain;charset="ISO-8859-1"

  • Change mail send to: to Thunderbird

I would like to accomplish two things if possible
    1. When I ctnrl click in finder, is there a way to have the service mail to come up?
    2. When i click on Mail to: is there a way to have it go to/ open thunderbird rather than apple mail? I am not sure where I would set this up.
    Thanks

ok, I go into Finder and highlight a file
    In Finder I go to
Finder > Services > Mail > Send File
This automatically creates an email with the attachment already in the email. When I do that now, it automatically goes to Apple Mail and creates a new message, rather than creating a new email in Thunderbird. I made the changes that you previously suggested, but it still opens Apple Mail when I perform the above sequence.
I would prefer for it to open Thunderbird. It seems like this should be possible to set what application the "Send File" menu items opens, but I can not figure out how to do it.
I suspect that most of the services under the Services menu are offered by the individual programs themselves. If that is true, then it appears that the Mail application offers some services but Thunderbird does not.
There may be a way to modify this behavior, but in the time I spent looking for it I was unable to find any trace of the mechanism that controls services.

What happen?  How do I correct this?

    Hi Nuch1,
I found an article that is contains very thorough Mail troubleshooting steps:
OS X Mail: Troubleshooting sending and receiving email messages
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3276
You can use that article to figure out what part of the email "ecosystem" is the cause of the issue, and it can also help you attempt to resolve it.
    Hope that helps,

  • Change of ISP password stops mail sending from iPad

My ISP has a glitch in connecting to hotmail.  They have incorrectly claimed to have fixed it but, in doing so, advised that some domain mail would not work without the domain mail password being changed.
I have changed the password in my desktop but changing it in my iPad mail has killed sending mail.  Not only from my domain mail but also my personal mail and my gmail.
Failed mail goes into my personal mail, outbox.  Very odd.
Nothing will go and the ISP help desk seems to be at a loss.
I can't check the outmail server settings on the iPad, though the in-mail is still correct.  (How can I check the out gate, BTW?)
Anyone have a solution?  To think one change - the domain mail password - could damage all mail.
    Grateful for solutions, please.
    Thanks
    Ron

As noted, yes there is an easy way to check the Outgoing server settings.

  • How do I change the hostname used when Mac Mail sends EHLO

    Hi All,
I work for a tech support group and one of our clients is experiencing some trouble sending emails. When they connect to their outbound mail server Mac Mail sends the EHLO command with a hostname like 01:23:45:67:89:ab.home
Another Mac on the network sends a hostname like 00:A0:C9:14:C8:29.home2
So they appear to be the a Mac address for the computers NIC followed by a generic location in this case .home, not sure if thats a generic Mac thing or something they chose to configure but because the hostname is not an ip address and contains ".(dot)home" the outbound mail server our client uses believes it to be a domain so then rejects it as an invalid domain when a lookup on it fails.
I've changed the hostname of one of the Macs using the command "cutil –-set HostName new_hostname"
This has changed the hostname when checking it by the hostname command in a Terminal but Mac Mail still persists in using the old hostname. We've tried rebooting the machine and rebooting the machine with the left shift key held down as I believe this does some kind of rebuild of configuration files, but still the old hostname is send when Mac Mail sends EHLO.
How can I force Mac Mail to pick up the new hostname or is there something else I need to do to change it?
thanks for any assistance you can provide,
    Martin

    Replying to myself:
You can sign out from the account in iBooks and then sign in to another one.
From the menu bar, choose:  Store->Sign Out
Then sign in again with the desired ID: Store->Sign In
