Hi,
I have a .aspx page and its devided into some zones and in zone there is some webparts. But Now I have to change the position of all the zone . How Can I achieve it?
Shubho

Zones are defined in page layouts. If you have to change the positions of zone then you have to modify page layout using SharePoint Designer.

  • Messaging tracking logs filename format changed in Exchange Server 2013 sp1

    Hi,
I have noticed that the file name format is changed for exchange server 2013 sp1.
Now it will have hh attached to it like
    MSGTRKMSyyyymmddhh-n.log;
    MSGTRKMDyyyymmddhh-n.log:
    MSGTRKyyyymmddhh-n.log.
So the "hh" will goes from 00 to 23 for single day.
So Lets say at 24 april 2014 first fill is created @7.30 AM, so the first file name will be
MSGTRK2014042400-1.log. Now exchange server will create new file every hour by incrementing hh part of file name. Now the last file i.e
MSGTRK2014042423-1.log will be created on 25 April 2014 at 6.30 AM.
I am not able to understand why exchange server is creating the file with old date on next day ( with 24 April on file name time stamp on 25 April).
And also how it will be decided to create the first file @ 7.30 AM.
Can anyone explain to me about this ? Why it is happening like this?
    Thanks
    Sandeep Gupta

    Hi Sandeep,
This could related to the time difference. What’s the time zone of your server? In my lab, many files in the last day were created in the next day. For example, files in 20140410
    were created on 20140411.
Also, as you mentioned, the file name format is as:
    MSGTRKMSyyyymmddhh-n.log;
    MSGTRKMDyyyymmddhh-n.log:
    MSGTRKyyyymmddhh-n.log.
However as I know, the format is like
MSGTRKyyyymmdd-m.log, it will not have “hh”(you mean hours) in the behind and the file is not created every hour but create a new file when the old is full. So please capture some screenshots of the message tracking files
and the date/time information of the file to verify.

  • User Password change fails in OWA 2013

User Password change fails in OWA with this error: Your password couldn't be changed. Make sure the old password you typed is correct and that the new password meets the minimum security requirements.
We are migrating from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013.  Have mailboxes in both environments.  OWA 2007 password changes succeed (user mailbox is still in Exchange 2007).  When the user mailbox is moved to Exchange 2013, password changes fail
    with the above error.
We have the Exch 2013 servers are on Windows 2012 and we are running Exch 2013 CU3.   We have made changes to the Default Role Assignment Policy to prevent users from changing Contact information and setting user photos, etc.  We are not exactly
sure when user password changes stopped working, or even if they ever did work, although we recently installed our Prod Exch 2013 servers alongside our 2007 servers without any RBAC delegation implemented and a quick test of a user password change was successful.
I reversed all the changes to the Default Role Assignment Policy but the password change still fails.

    Hi,
Please try the following steps in your CAS server:
    1. Click Start > Run and type regedit and click OK.
    2. Navigate to the "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchange OWA" key.
    3. Set the ChangeExpiredPasswordEnabled value from 1 to 0.
    4. Close regedit and re-open it.
    5. Set the ChangeExpiredPasswordEnabled value from 0 to 1.
    6. Close regedit.
    7. After you configure this DWORD value, please reset IIS. The recommended method to reset IIS is to use IISReset /noforce from a command prompt.

  • Change Language in LYNC 2013

    Hi,
Windows 7 Enterprise Edition is installed in the machine with Office 2010 Professional Plus 32 bit German Language. LYNC 2013 is installed but it is in French language. How to change the language to LYNC 2013 to German.
    Regards,
    Boopathi S

    Hi,
How did you install Lync 2013? From which portal did you get the Lync installation resouce?
If you installed it from MSI, a language-neutral core MSI package is combined with one or more language-specific packages to make a complete product. Your language package might be French and that's why Lync was installed in French. You can check
your installation resource to verify this.
If you have the German language pack, we can customize language setup and settings. To specify one language to install on a client computer, refer to the article below:
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd162397.aspx#BKMK_SpecifyLanguagesToInstall
Read the section "Specify which languages to install" to learn how to configure the Config.xml file to specific the language you want to install.

  • Price Changes from 5 January 2013

BT Broadband Option 1 increases from £17.80 to £18.85
BT Broadband Option 2 increases from £22.50 to £23.80
BT Broadband Option 3 increases from £26.80 to £28.35
BT Infinity Option 1 increases from £21.00 to £22.20
BT Infinity Option 2 increases from £26.80 to £28.35
The standard line rental price increases from £14.60 to £15.45
The Unlimited Anytime Plan increases from £4.90 to £5.15.
What if I'm unhappy with the price changes?
We're sorry you're are unhappy about how the price rises affect you and would rather that you stayed with BT as we believe we offer fantastic services and products. We've kept a number of our key prices frozen since December 2011 and will be freezing many of our prices again from the 5 January 2013 until 2014 at the earliest. However if you contact us directly within 10 calendar days of receiving our price change notification you may cease your services without penalty.
Well I for 1can not afford to pay anymore than what I'm paying so I'm off.

    It's lunacy.
Just had "the email" myself and I'm wondering just how many millions BT must have spent in their fight with SKY for advertising that customers come to BT for phone, broadband and vision and how many, including me, will be staying.
I can't afford these price hikes.  We are in a recession in the UK - or hasn't BT noticed?
Going to have to change provider.  Shame on BT to them and to the customers who have already been paying a lot more than the competions prices - and I wonder how they will explain the (massive) migration from BT to other providers in January to the shareholders
I am going to apply for my MAC in December, so I am not in the pile up!

  • Change Color in Spcolor File but Color Not Changed in Site - SP 2013

I have changed the color in the spcolor file that is associated with the theme selected for my site, but when I save it and upload it to the site again, the color does not change on the site. Is there another way colors can be changed that would override
    the spcolor file?

    Hi Tracey,
Please download the orginal spcolor file for particular composed look/theme from that site collection themem gallery, then change the color value with Notepad application, then upload it back to theme gallery to overrride spcolor file, check out and check
in this file, then see if the custom color could be changed for that particular composed look for your site, please try this in a test site collection firstly.
Also you can try creating a new custom composed look with custom spcolor for your site per the following articles, see if it could work.

  • Changing zone interface while zone is running

i need to change the interface for the running Solaris zone in E2900 system.
now the zone interface is ce0:1 now i need to change the interface to ce2.
whether i need a reboot of the zone or not.
if reboot is not needed the following is ok or not
    :my-zone> add net
    :net> set address=x.x.x.x
    :net> set physical=ce2:1
    :net>end
    :my-zone>verify
    :my-zone>commit
    ^D

Well, you'll want to do that anyway for the next time you start the zone.
For the immediate changes, I think you'll need to go into the global zone and unplumb the interface. Then plumb up the new one into the non-global zone that you want. Ifconfig takes a 'zone' keyword to specify it.

  • Changing zone password..??

    Hi all,,
I got a problem which looks simple...but i found no solution for it in internet search...The problem is
I created a zone in my system few days back...and now i forgot the password of it...and i am not able to change it using passwd ..as it considers the zonename as username and giving an error message as "user unknown",Permission denied..
I thought we can change by 2 methods...
    1) As a root we can change using zlogin again for the zone.{{.but zlogin will ask for whole configuration only at the time of installation of zone..}}
2)Secondly, same as breaking password for root...i thought to do breaking zone password,,, but i didn't found any entry of zone password in /etc/passwd or shadow files..
I request all the readers to suggest a solution...
    Thanks in advance...

If you are logged in as root, zlogin zone_name should give you a root login. From there, a simple passwd command allows you to update root's password.
((Edit fix)) Oops, it's zlogin zone_name that works without a passwd ;-)
If that doesn't work, the following does it with a sledgehammer.
    1) From the global zone... Copy the zone's password, shadow, group files...
    cd `zonepath`/root/etc
    cp passwd passwd.old
    cp shadow shadow.old
    cp group group.old
    2) Copy the global zone's passwd, shadow and group file. This will synchronize your user files.
    cp /etc/passwd .
    cp /etc/group .
    cp /etc/shadow .
Then you should be able to log in to your zone with the current zone's root password.
    1) If you need to, you can then move the ".old" versions of the passwd shadow and group files.
    # zonename
Make sure the command comes back with the name of the local zone. If it comes back global you aren't logged into the zone.
    2) Manage your ID files
    # cd /etc
    # cp passwd passwd.gz
    # cp shadow shadow.gz
    # cp group group.gz
    # mv passwd.old passwd
    # mv group.old group
    # mv shadow.old shadow
    3) Change root's passwd on the local zone
    # passwd root
    THere you go.

  • Change Status Manager MSPS 2013 PWA

Can Status Manager be changed in MSPS 2013 PWA? If so, how can this be accomplished.  I was told this was possible but haven't found the right security combination to do this.

    Hello,
You can do this in Project Pro 2013. Don't think it is possible to update the Status Manager in PWA, you can only view the Status Manager for a task.

  • SSRS subscriptions in default zone of sharepoint 2013 are not showing in intranet zone and vice versa.

one of the Sharepoint 2013 site collection has alternate access mappings created. Default site is .com and intranet is .local.
So when we add SSRS subscription in .com - they are not showing in .local and vice- versa. How do we fix this so the subscriptions are same in both .com and .local.

    Hi spanda,
Per my understanding that you have configured the alternate access mappings which Default site is .com and intranet is .local. But the subscription in one of the site will not list in another mapped site, right?
Actually, if you are on a different Alternate Access Mapping other than the Subscription was created on, we will get no subscriptions, Because we are using the method "Microsoft.ReportServices.SharePoint.UI.ManageSubscriptionPages"
to deal with the logic by creating the value for "m_reportUrl" using the current context of the URL the user is using and passing that to the "SubscriptionListControl".  You can find the code in this article if you have some
    knowledge of development:
SQL Server Reporting Services ignores Alternate Access Mappings When Checking for Report Subscriptions
I recommand you to submit an feedback at
    https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/
If the suggestion mentioned by customers for many times, the product team may consider to add the feature in the next SQL Server version. Your feedback is valuable for us to improve our products and increase the level of service
    provided.

  • Debug Message Options: Not able to change in Compact embedded 2013

    Hello,
I am using COMPACT Embedded 2013 with a AM33x BSP from Adeneo and I'm trying to disable the output  of Process ID and Thread ID on the serial console.
    My output looks always like:
    PID:032D000E TID:032C000E My message
Normally this should work with the Debug Message Options, but it don't!
I can't uncheck any checkbox in the Debug Message Options.
I have done some analysis to disable the output of Process ID and Thread ID and I found the code where it is added to the output. At this code (which is in \WINCE800\private\winceos\COREOS\nk\kernel\printf.c) there is no condition for printing out the process
and thread id. I can disable the output by commenting out the corresponding lines in printf.c build the nkmain.lib and do a clean sysgen. But I don't think that this is the right way to switching this off. Does anyone know a different solution?

To disable the PID/TID below is what you have to set
     g_pOemGlobal->pfnWriteDebugString = NULL;
But i have observed earlier that during suspend & resume any debug prints during OEMPowerOff will use the NULL function pointer and cause the
    system to crash.
The solution is to restore the kernel to use the default serial debug during OEMPowerOff()...
    VOID BSPPowerOff()
// If OEMInit() cleared g_pOemGlobal->pfnWriteDebugString to remove VID/PID
// from debug output, g_pNKGlobal->pfnWriteDebugString will now be NULL (see
        // NKPowerOffSystem() in WINCE700\private\winceos\COREOS\nk\kernel\kwin32.c)
        if (NULL == g_pNKGlobal->pfnWriteDebugString)
// Set kernel pfnWriteDebugString so that debug prints in OEMPowerOff()
// do not crash the system.
// NKPowerOffSystem() will restore the orginal value following return
            // from OEMPowerOff()
            g_pNKGlobal->pfnWriteDebugString = (PFN_WriteDebugString)OEMWriteDebugString;

  • Copy DVD, change Zone

I live in the US and share videos, etc with people in Europe.
Too often I have a German/European-zone DVD that refuses to play in my DVD player here.
Is there a way around this? Copying into my Mac the European DVD, then burning a new one?

Is this a commercial dvd or something authored through iDvd? I'll assume it's the latter (but if not then please see apple's terms of use on the right hand side of this page).
Q: Did they burn the Dvd through apple's iDvd or something else? ... most burned dvd's are region free. However commercially pressed dvd's are an entirely different story.
Most Burned dvd's are universal playback. There shouldn't be any issues whatsoever when played back on a mac or pc regardless of location. Should play fine in Europe and the USA on most macs.
But if your German friends happened to burn a PAL version which they use throughout Europe (as opposed to NTSC) then that may be an issue when played here in the US on a dvd player purchased here since not all such devices can read PAL as opposed to NTSC (in terms of playback on dvd players purchased here in the US). They on the other hand can likely playback both.
Keep in mind that region codes are mainly important for commercially pressed dvd's which are then mass replicated and in most cases copy protected. And if they're Copy Protected, then we can't help you.
