Changr HU quantity generated via PRoduction order confirmation

Hi gurus,
I have created GRN of 112 quantity via production order confirmation.
My plant andstorage location is Handeling unit managed so with GRN handeling unit gets generated.
but packing had done for 1 quantity only.
now how to change this quantity?  I tried HUCANC t code and gave the HU number but system is giving error that HU can not be cancelled.  first cancelled material document
but GRN has made 112 quantity which is correct then how HU got packed with 1 only?
I stuck up pls help

when I am trying to change Hu in humo i am getting following error
Storage type 111 does not allow repacking - HUs cannot be changed
also getting following error if I am changing the quantity or emptying the Hu
Handling unit 10016000800120555 has status "cannot be changed" - Process cancelled

  • Cancellation of Production Order confirmation (CO13) not generating TR/TO

    Hi,
We are facing a typical issue in the PP-WM interface. When we create an order and confirm it (partial confirmation), the Goods movement happens (261 mvt type) as desired and the TO is created and confirmed in the background.
But, when we try to reverse the movement type (cancelling the production order confirmation using CO13) then there are no TRs or TOs generated in the background (for movement type 262).
When I manually try to post a material document for 262 movement type, it creates a TO in the background (as per the configurations that I maintained) but this does not happen when movement type 262 is called using PP interface.
The movement type configurations are all done for Automatic TR and TO generations - this works with normal IM process (when we manually post using MB1A transaction) but not with the return Goods movement happening with PP.....here, the material comes back to the interim storage type 914. We then need to create a TO manually and confirm it to take the stock back in to the original storage type and bin.
We want that when a process order confirmation is cancelled then the materials should be posted back in to the original storage type and bin (from where the material was issued against the order).
For Info: COGI shows no errors during the 262 movements, also, material document is generated for 262 movement type but no TR/TO generated.
Is there any configuration that we have missed?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Shankar

    Hi,
Yes, you are correct in the understanding that the system creates quants in 914 when the production order confirmation is cancelled. But, it does not generate any TR or TO in the background to post the stock back into the original storage type.
Can we not use the put away strategies so that the system determines where to place the material? My query is that despite all the configurations for automatic TO creation and confirmation for movement type 262, it does not generate a TO (or TR) in the background when a production order confirmation is cancelled using CO13.
However, if I manually post a material using MB1A for 261 movement type and reverse it using 262, it generates a TO and confirms it as per the setting in configuration.
The same thing does not work when we run it through PP (CO11N and then CO13).
Any suggestions on how to approach this and where to check for missing configurations?
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Production order confirmation via BAPI

Hi, I'm using the function module "BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR" called from an external system.
I fill the parameters "ORDERID", "YIELD", "SCRAP", "FIN_CONF" and "EX_CREATED_DATE" in the "ATHDRLEVELS" table for each production order i'd like to confirm. (That should be the only parameters I have to fill)
I get the "DETAILRETURN" table back with the message type "I" (Information) and the message "Confirmation of order xxxxxxxxx saved".
The production order is confirmed, so why didn't I get a "S" (Success) message type? Why can I confirm as many times as I want (only the confirmation counter is increasing).
I would like to get an information that make me sure that this confirmation is done (or not)... so that the external system can retry the "bapi call"  for instance.
Can someone tell me if there is a configuration, a solution or explain me  what happens?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Caetano,
    Thanks for your reply.
I tested BAPI_PRODORDCONF_GET_HDR_PROP and it proposes goods movements according with open quantity of the production order. In this case, would I have to adjust all movements with actual quantity?
Is possible to propose goods movements according with confirmed quantity?

  • Production order confirmations to BW

    Hi,
Does anybody know if it is possible to take production order CONFIRMATIONS (Fertigungsauftrags Daten auf Ebene Rückmeldungen) to BW via standard routines? In LBWE (with 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL, ...) it does not work.
    Would appreciate any idea ...
    Thank's Markus

i don't think we are getting that from standard DS. I will tell you our set up. Workcenter will assigned from the Planed Order.
Comming to your cases... check the DS once again. I will check it out. If you are not getting the values for work center where it is confirmed.
Create a Generic DS. i can guide to generate a DS and for delta handling.
    1. Create a Generic Extractor for Master Data.
    2. Provide Table Name "AFRU".
    3. save the DS. click on Generic Delta Provide the field "ERSDA" and select the Calender Day. it will pick up the Delta records.
Any questions let me know. If you reslove this with creating Generic DS please update the thread.
    All the best.

  • Batch Split during GR for Production Order Confirmation

    Hi All,
We need to do batch splitting during GR for Production Order Confirmation. We are using CO11N for confirming the Production Order and in the PP settings auto GR is activated once the Confirmation is done.
Currently it is generating only single batch number for the complete quantity, but our requirement is that we need that system should create separate batch for each piece.
For ex.: Production Order is for 100 pce, when we do Production Order confirmation, system is automatically doing the GR by 101 movement type and it is creating one single batch for full 100 pce. But we want the batch number should be generated for 1 pce i.e. we want to split the 100 pce into 100 batches with 1 pce each.
Please let me know what can be done for this requirement.
    Regards,
    Ankit

    Dear,
In OPK0 you need to active the screen Mill: Goods Receipt (8485) for confirmation profile for the single-screen entry.
Best way is use BAdI /SAPMP/SPLIT_CO11N for the Enter Time Ticket for Production Order transaction (CO11N)
you must activate BAdI implementation /SAPMP/SPLIT_POPUP and/or /SAPMP/SPLIT_CO11N for this BAdI
I have use the same BADI it will ask you number of split according to that it will split the GR line item.

  • GR quantity less than Production Order quantity

    Hello all
I am working at a client where they produce Make-To-Order items specific to a Sales Order by triggering an Assembly Order (Production Order).
Now I am facing a tricky situation & hence want some advice from you guys.
In a generac scenario when an order comes for a MTO material ABC, a Production Order is triggerred for that item.
I can navigate to this Production Order from the Sales Order > Schedule Line tab (Just FYI)
Now once the Production Order is confirmed for each Operation on the floor using CO11N, the material is receipted in the Inventory & the requirement gets fulfilled.
Now sometimes the Production Order is Goods Receipted for a Lesser quantity as compared to the Production Order Quantity.
e.g. Sales Order Quantity = Production Order Quantity = 3 EA & the Delivered Quantity (GR qty) = 1 EA
In such a case, in MD04 the system still shows an open requirement for 2 EA on the same Production Order Number
Is there a way to trigger another Production Order for the remaining quantity automatically ?
If anyone can share their thoughts proposing possible solutions to handle such a scenario, it would be a great help.
I am an SD consultant & hence cant think ways to handle the scenario & propose it to the Business.
    Any help will be appreciated
    Thanks
    Vin

    Hello
    Thanks for all your replies.
As of now the 1st scenario is no more an issue. The business process is modified to fix the problem.
Now my main problem is the 2nd scenario which I will explain better here.
In our scenario MTO items when placed in a Sales Order triggers a Production Order.
This Production Order needs to be confirmed for each operation & at the final step the MTO item is pushed into the inventory.
The Production BOM & the operation overview for the MTO item is as shown below:
    E.g.
    Operation Overview:
    Operation            Work center                  Control key
      0010                    Prod                               PP01
      0020                    Pack                               PP01
      0070                    Confirm                          PP03
    Routing:
    Item                Material             QTY        Unit            Operation
    0010               ABC                  100         G                0010
    0020               XYZ                  10           G                0020
Now as shown above, the business users who produce the MTO item will confirm operation 10 & consume raw material ABC at the Work Center = Prod.
Then at the Work Center = Pack, the packaging material is used & operation 20 is confirmed.
Finally after the packing is done, at the Work center = Confirm, the operation 70 is confirmed when the MTO item is receipted in the Inventory.
Before it is receipted at the Confirm work center, a user monitors the quality of this produced item. If it is good only then it is receipted in the inventory.
Now depending on when the Sales Order is fulfilled, this MTO item will be shipped.
    Issue:
Now when the MTO item produced passes thru the high level quality check, it gets receipted in the inventory at operation 70.
However in a case where the some or all the qty of the MTO item ordered doesn't pass the quality check, they will be scrapped physically.
Thus my understanding is that e.g. 3 qty of the MTO was ordered & 1 got rejected, then the user confirming the step 70 will enter YIELD = 2 ea & Scrap = 1 ea and do the final confirmation.
This means that the original demand of 3 ea is still incomplete. 1 Ea still need to be made as a Sales Order Stock.
Now the function needed is that the system should automatically generate a Production order for the remaining 1 Ea as a Sales Order stock.
I dont know if this can be achieved by receipting the 1 EA as REWORK on the CO11n screen at operation 70.
Also I am not sure if Production Order Split case would work in this case.
I would need some input from all the PP gurus. Any solution which be close to what functionality is needed will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Vin

  • Change Work Center during production order confirmation

    Dear All,
I must to modeling this situation:
I created an production order. In routing I used an work center A.
After I confirmed a half of quantity, the work center A was damaged and I must to change it, with the work center B.
The system allow this change, but when I checked the costing, the situation isn't real. The system counted the costs just for the work center A, and no for work center B.
My question is: it's possible to change the work center, during production order confirmation and the costs updated with new cost?
    Thank you for your answer!
    Regards,
    Marian

once a Order is released, the Process order detaisl for that order is frozen.
however if you want to do it, change the order status to CRTD after reversing the Movements done.
Do READ MAster data , this will copy the new Work center , redo the previously done Moevements.
if the change is long term.
    or
Just manually add the new work center and do the processing. if the change is temporary.

  • GR quantity check against Production Order in MB31

    Hi Experts,
How to check GR quantity against Production Order (101) can not be greater than Confirmation quantity for the Production Order in MB31.

  • Measuring point update by production order confirmation

    Hi friends,

    Please suggest the solution.

    Hello Sir(s)
i have gone through entire post for the subject related to measuring point auto update from production order confirmation.  I have tried the same but i dont know what i am missing.
if i put some value like 1 or 2 and appropriate UOM then only my measuring document is being updated with the same value not with the actual confirmed quantity..  i have already maintained standard formulla in prt view.
my basic requirement is to get actual value of produced quanity as counter update. means if 20 pieces have been produced and confirmed in co11n, then counter must bhe updated with the value of confirmed quantity.
please advice what value should i put as usage in routing master to get actuall counter update.
Will Highly appreciate your quick reply.

  • Price difference on cancellation of production order confirmation

    Hi,
We are having a material which is maintained at price control "S". We have created a production order for the material. In due course of business, we did confirmation for say 100 pcs of the material. However, immediatly on confirmation, we realized that we do not need to do the confirmation & hence we did the cancellation of the production order confirmation using CO13.
On doing the production order confirmation cancellation, we observed that the system has posted some amount to "price difference account"
We also observed that once in a while this kind of entries do get posted.
It is requested to please let us know in why system is behaving this way?
We have checked SAP Note no 216080 "Price difference when reversing GI for S-Priced material" & SAP Note no 215980 'Price difference during GR for the production order". However we are not convinced that these could be the reason for the price difference.
    Thanking you in anticipation

    Hi,
Yes, you are correct in the understanding that the system creates quants in 914 when the production order confirmation is cancelled.

  • Production order confirmation problems

My production facility has been having problems for years centered around the production order confirmation process.  My colleagues and I are considering submitting an OSS note to SAP, but figured that we should present our problems in these forums before making that next step.
Here are some individual issues which I believe may be related.  All of these issues occur off and on at random.  They will typically occur when more users are working in the SAP system or when SAP is running slow.
    - When an order is confirmed and a label is printed, sometimes the quantity on the label will be incorrect.  Sometimes no label will print out at all.  When the order is unconfirmed and then reconfirmed again, a label prints out with the correct quantity.
    - When a confirmation is unconfirmed, the unconfirmation will not backflush the associated materials correctly.  Sometimes this error will appear in CO1P for us to re-confirm, but not always.
    - Sometimes confirmations will only backflush certain materials and not ALL the components within the production order.  When the confirmation is unconfirmed and then reconfirmed again, the confirmation will backflush all materials correctly.
These problems occur at random intervals and never present the user with an error.  Close to 100% of the time all the confirmation issues will be corrected by simply u201Cre-doingu201D the confirmation as we did the first time (no changes in the process).  Only the second time around there will not be any issues.  This leads me to believe there is some internal issue with SAP, perhaps involving which tables CO11N pulls from when a confirmation is made.
Any and all help is appreciated.  We currently run the AFS version of SAP.  This is my last stop before submitting an OSS note.

    Hi,
I have not worked on AFS, so consider the below as a pointer which might help:
When you post confirmations & notice that the components are not being backflushed, check in COGI it could be that there are some incorrect goods movement. You will be required to clear these entries from COGI.
I suspect that you notice these because, the confirmations are being posted even before the stock for the same has been received & hence the issue with labels as well.
Do a check on the above, if it resolves the issue, then i would suggest re-design the process to ensure you do not have COGI or COFC entries.
Also do a search in OSS for AFS specific notes on confirmation.
    Hope it helps.
    Regards,
    Vivek

  • Production Order Confirm/Label Printing problems

I am currently having issues printing out labels for production orders.  Whenever I confirm an order, our printer will print out a different quantity or no label at all.
Here is a brief history of production order confirmations today....
    Entered                Printed
    80                           40 (2 labels of 20)
    20                           No Print
    20                           No Print
    40                           No Print
ALL confirmations were accepted by SAP
SAP WILL often drag during a normal confirmation when correct labels are printed
SAP will NOT drag when a confirmation is entered and no labels are printed
Yesterday I had a confirmation for 10 print out a label for 19.  All of the quantities in SAP are correct, it's only the printer that is creating labels for different quantities.  If all the lot sizes in SAP are correct, what do you think the issue might be?

    Hi,
Based on what i understand of your query, would suggest to work with your technical person to have a look at the print program. The delay you notice or the incorrect data being printed might have to do with the program.

    Vivek

  • Production order confirmation document

    Hi All,
After carrying out production order confirmation, material document generated is not displayed at the front end.Instead we get messege that "confirmation of order XXX is saved".We have to view that in MB51/COOIS .
How to display confirmation material document number ( Not confirmation number ) in the front endscreen. This is required as user can write down document number at the time of confirmation for his record.
    Whether there is any option?
    Regards,
    Milind.

    Hi,
Do the below given settings to print your confirmation document after you confirm the production order.
Go to OPJ8, check on print confirmation.
Now you do the confirmation. You will get the confirmation slips.
    Thanks

  • GR qty showing less than production order confirmation qty

    Hello Experts,
    Greetings.
My issue is while doing production order confirmation(CO12),for some materials it shows less GR quantity than the confirmation qty.I m wondering how it can be possible?
    What could be the problem?
    Plz advice.
    Thanks
    Nitin

Confirmed qty of each operation and delivery qty at the header are two different fields.   Confirmed qty will be the same with the yield to conf. during confirmation.  Whereas, the GR qty is equal to the total sum of quantity received from the order.
Check whether during confirmation you create auto GR or not.  If yes, then check the COGI t-code.  There might be some error log of goods receipt in there.  If no, then check GR qty in document goods movement compared to confirmed qty during confirmation.
    Hope it helps.
