How to disable Beta channel updates?
Beta updates disable my Trusteer Rapport which often does not support the update. How do I remove myself from the beta update channel?
You likely installed what was a Beta build of a version at time and have been using it since as 34.0b3 is the current Beta. The easiest way to get back onto Release channel is to install the current Release which is 33.0.1

Arabic and other international channels update
Hello,
Just wondering if there was any news about new Arabic channels (this was announced as forthcoming in 2011 !).
Thanks.Wow, thanks for the insight. I was debating the additional channels (now 9.99) but now I think I will pursue other options. It looks like Dish only offers 3 channels or so. Many friends from China just watch over the net. I think I will work on a internet to TV solution for those Chinese channels.

How fast will the NI 6723 update 32 channels using LabView
How does one figure up the updata rate? Is LV Real Time needed to update 32 channels within the microsecond range?
You shouldn't need to use LabVIEW Real Time to achieve 32 channel updates within the microsecond range. The 6723 manual provides two specifications for maximum update rate on 32 channels. If you are using the onboard FIFO = 204 kS/s. Using Host PC Memory = 45 kS/s. Either of these update rates should be fine for you. These numbers can change however depending on bus activity.

Fieldpoint engine not updating after first value
I'm using an FP-1000 and an FP-TC-120 with two thermocouples attached. I've successfully set everything up with Fieldpoint Explorer and the data updates perfectly. The problem is when I try and read the tag values using a VI in Bridgeview. I start the VI and it starts the Fieldpoint Engine and reads the first value from it. This is the only value it will report to the VI and I can't figure out what the problem is. The only way to get a new value is to restart the engine, and once again it only reads one value and then doesn't update anymore. The VI continues running and getting data but it's always the same as the first time. I tried searching for a problem similar to mine but I wasn't sure what exactly to search for and I couldn't find much help.
Thanks. There are several items in the tag configuration that you should check as they may cause extremely slow updates. First (and most likely), check the Update Deadband. If I recall correctly, it defaults to 1%. With an FP-TC-120 set to -270 to 1770 C, that is 1% of 2040 C or 20.4 C. This means that the engine will automatically filter out changes that are less than 20.4 C from the initial value. Next, check the tag update rate. You should set it for an interval of 1.13 seconds (All Channel Update Rate of the FP-TC-120). Finally, check the group update rate.
Edit: A more appropriate deadband would be 0.05% or 1.02 C with the -270 to 1770 C range.

Trouble installing Flash player update 14.0.0.177 for Chrome
I tried to help my mom update her flash player. She was running flash version 14.0.0.145 and having problems with it. I was checking things for her when I saw there was a newer version, 14.0.0.177, so I downloaded it. For Chrome you have to enable it in the plugins page, but the only version showing up was the old one. As far as I know, that is how it is installed. She has a windows computer with os windows 7. Is there something I am missing here, or something I should try that could help her get the newest version of flash running? Thanks!
Hello,
The Flash Player version integrated in Chrome is updated by Google, not Adobe. For this Flash Player release, it appears Google released Flash Player via a Chrome update (versus a components update, which they sometimes do), as per this page Chrome Releases: Stable Channel Update, which indicates 36.0.1985.143 as the version that contains the Flash Player update. You can navigate to chrome://chrome to trigger the update (or Tools > About Google Chrome which goes to the same page).

This morning we have lost all the BBC channels on BT Vision. Originally BT Vision wouldn't show any BBC channel, then tried a channel rescan, now channels all listed but just show a black screen with 'channel unavailable'. All other channels operating normally. Any suggestions why?
Firstly, check ukfree to see if there are any engineering works in your area.
What signal strength/quality are you getting on the other channels.
If you're in a cusp area it may be a good idea to turn off the automatic channel update. The downside of this is that you will have to scan manually if the channel lineup changes, but you shouldn't lose your channels overnight anymore. It won't help you see their content, though.

I am working on deployment with over 600 3502i APs. The client device chosen for voice on this network is the Ascom I62. This device does not like to roam to APs using UNII-2 channels 52 - 64. I have removed these channels from the channel plan on my 5508 controllers under Wireless>802.11a/n>RRM>DCA and invoked a channel update.
A day later, I still have dozens of APs using these channels. Is there another way to remove these channels from the APs short of reassigning them manually? I tried rebooting the APs and they still retain the UNII-2 channels.
Thanks!
Posted by WebUser Tim BarnhartWe have the DCA globally set to freeze. We set it to auto and then went into each AP that was on a UNI2 channel and set it to custom, then saved, then set it back to auto and it refreshed the channel to a non-UNI2 channel. We could have probably left it on auto for a period of time to let them change automatically.
Thanks for the suggestions though.

Hi!
I try to configure a Cisco 5508 Wireless controller and 25 Air-lap1041 to use as VoIP and data. I read documents, manuals, etc, but the AP doesn't charge the configuration, or not conect with the Wireless Controller, why? No Radius server present, only WPA security.howto, please...
I try to put a static ip in the LAP, with lwapp or capwap command, (LWAPP/CAPWAP ap ip address direccion mascara) and the AP returns "You should configure Domain and Name Server from controller CLI/GUI." and i can't change the name of the AP (Command is disabled).

Hola:
I buy a gigabit switch. I connect the service-port to gigabit switch, and laptop to gigabit switch. I used 192.168.1.x ip address (192.168.1.157 to service-port and 192.168.1.233 to wired port on laptop, well, the laptop has two ip adress, 192.168.1.233 and 209.165.200.2, and the laptop works ok. Ping to 209.165.200.230 -ip address of management interface- and ping to 209.165.200.203 -ip address for AP, is assigned by DHCP of WLC. And i connect the ap to gigabit switch, and the wlc assigns well an ip direction.
I post the run-config and sysinfo log. The gigabit switch is tp-link model tl-sg1005d, no configuration.
Before the logs, I see this message from AP:
*Apr 19 23:10:20.211: %CAPWAP-3-ERRORLOG: This AP is not supported in controller
version 6.0.199.4 ---->What's mean that? Is it compatible the ap with the WLC? ¿Es compatible el AP con el WLC?
Hola:
He comprado un switch gigabit.
*Apr 19 23:10:20.211: %CAPWAP-3-ERRORLOG: This AP is not supported in controller
version 6.0.199.4 ---->What's mean that? Is it compatible the ap with the WLC? ¿Es compatible el AP con el WLC?

12/03/2013 - Beta - AIR 4.0.1240 Runtime and SDK
Adobe AIR Beta Channel Update
This beta release provides access to the latest AIR runtime and SDK (with compiler) for Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android.
With this release, we are introducing a new numbering scheme for our product versions. Adopting the pattern set by Google with Chrome and Mozilla with Firefox, we will simply update the major version number with each subsequent release. In other words, beginning with the release of "Jones", Flash Player will become Flash Player 12. With each new major release, roughly every 3 months, that number will increase by one.
This change will also apply to AIR and the AIR SDK, albeit not right away. Our "Jones" release will be numbered AIR 4 and AIR SDK 4; however, with our "King" (Q2 2014) release, the version number will be synchronized with the Flash Player version at 13.
Below are some of the key features and benefits of AIR 4.0. Please see our release notes for full details.
New Features:
iOS - Improved Packaging Engine
We're very excited about this new feature. The new packaging engine we're working on can improve iOS packaging time up to 10 times over the current packager! However this feature is still early in development and we'd like to get your feedback. To enable this feature, please use "-useLegacyAOT no" in the ADT command, before the signing options.
Graphics: Buffer Usage flag for Stage3D
We've added a new enum Class called Context3DBufferUsage which defines two constants, STATIC_DRAW (default) and DYNAMIC_DRAW. These constants specify how buffers will be used in Stage3D. We've also added a new parameter, called "bufferUsage", to the constructors of VertexBuffer and IndexBuffer. This "bufferUsage" parameter uses one of the constants form Context3DBufferUsage, which will allow you to select the appropriate buffer type according to your needs.
Android Workers
Introduced as a beta feature in AIR 3.9, we're continuing to improve this feature based on your feedback in preparation for an official release in AIR 4.
Android - Support for native resources access by R* mechanism in native extension
Currently, to use the native Android resources in the Android Native Extension one has to use getResourceID() API while typically to access the resource IDs developers use the R.* mechanism. AIR 4.0 onwards, apps developers will be able to access the resources by R.* mechanism. All the dependencies need to be specified in platform.xml as following and all the dependencies and resources to be packaged in the ANE.
Supplementary Characters Enhancement Support for TextField – EXTENDED BETA
This is a desktop enhancement for supporting surrogate pairs in the TextField control. Now, characters out of the Basic Multilingual Plane(BMP) with Unicode code points between U+10000 and U+10FFFF will work correctly in the TextField control. It greatly enlarges the code point range we support and includes characters like emotion symbols (emoticons) and complex CCJK characters. This feature is being introduced in the AIR 4 beta but will go live in a subsequent release. Due to the sensitive nature of text display, we would like an extended test period to ensure no bugs are introduced.
Stage3D Creation of Context3D with Profile Array
We've added a new interface to Stage3D.requestContext3DMatchingProfiles(profiles:Vector.<String> ) which will create a Context3D with highest level suitable profile that is in profile array, based on the current hardware. A developer can check the newly added property 'profile' to obtain the current profile that was chosen by the Flash Runtime.
Support for Android 4.4 (KitKat)
We've completed our support testing with AIR against the latest Android 4.4 release. Please let us know if you encounter any problems.
Known Issues:
Timeline animation does not play properly in Air 3.9. [3647538]
Hunger Games Adventures become unplayable after 10 min on iOS7 [3651083]
Text field stops updating on iOS 7 after giving voice input. [3658462]
Fixed Issues:
[iOS] Context3D 'drawToBitmapData' does not adhere to device orientation changes. [3638742]
[Android] ANE gives error on calling System.loadLibrary() method when APK is packaged in target apk-captive-runtime. [3676327]
[Android 4.4] No events are honored on microphone object. [3668138]
[Workers] AIR 3.9 for android, can not load file in non-primordial worker. [3643406]
[iOS] Rotating app to landscape on iOS 7 pushes view off screen and shows status bar [3648197]
[iOS] Unable to compile an application in Flash builder using -useLegacyAOT switch [3676175]

We encourage you to let us know what you think on our AIR Labs ForumOk, just figured this out. The cert I created was somehow malformed. I simply created a new one with the Flash IDE which worked fine. Any other method of creating the cert that I tried failed, including the keytool command line utility.
