Channels missing

Hi
I installed BT Vision a couple of days ago.  Everything is working fine - including getting access to the two sports channels using a viewing card - but I can only receive a few of the other channels.  I can't get any of the BBC channels, ITV 1, ITV 2 or C4 etc. - when I type in the relevant channel numbers, a message on the box appears saying 'unavailable'.  The only ones I can get are ITV3, ITV4, Film 4 and a handful of shopping channels!
I know my aerial is fine, as it is less than 3 years old and I can get all the channels on my TV's tuner and the tuner on my HDD recorder without any problems.  I've tried re-booting and re-scanning a number of times without any change.
Is this a common problem?  I'd be grateful for any suggestions!  Thanks in advance.

i hope you have more luck than i am having i use to get all the hd channells and the extra channels but mid july they stopped i am now waitng for someone from "level 3" to get in touch but not holding my breath 1 thing you could try next time you phone is ask for the level 2 direct line no AND THE CURRENT PIN NO it will save you ages waiting for someone to talk to,,,, best of luck

  • Many channels missing/not loading

Many of my SD and HD are not loading or are missing. When I tune to the channel I get a blank screen which eventually kicks to a verizon service agent screen that "checks for blackouts" and then comes back to tell me the channel is not available. This is happening on too many channels to list. I've reset the box twice and worked through the online trouble shooting to no avail.
Verizon, get this fixed before I cancel on you.

hi, are you in calif? i am, and so far mine are all o.k.

  • Jetta and Iphone4-music but one channel missing

I have a 2012 Jett. Bluetooth works, hardwire too. However music plays only one channel, like it's missing one of the stereo channels. Does the same thing when hardwired thru the cable. It does the same thing with my other iphone4. Anyone else have this? I'll be bringing this up at the dealer at the 10k mile checkup. I'm betting it's the VW.

I've got the same issue over Bluetooth, but the hardwire works fine.

  • Communication channels missing

In performing some cache refreshes, all of the communication channels have gone missing from the communication channel monitor.  They still show up in the integration directory though.  Can someone help me on how to get these channels back into the monitor?
    Thanks!

    Hi
You may please follow below steps and as per i see nothing went wrong.
    1. If you have not yet performed full CPACache refresh...you may please perform once again
    http://<PI system name>:<http port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full
    2. after, please execute below URL to re-initialize your RWB (runtime work bench)
    http://<PI system name>:<http port>/rwb/rtc?op=init
    3. If still you do not see any change, then my last take would be....in ID, please open all your communication channels one by one and put some dummy entry in the description field and activate the channel. You need to perform this for all channels.
    revert back if problem persists.

  • Apple tv - one audio channel missing

Hi, I have some weird problem with my apple tv. I have connected my apple tv with a HDMI cable to my Denon amplifier and I'm having a really weird problem. If I try to hear music, I only hear one channel, the other one is missing. It sounds for the five speakers but I can't hear one of the channel. For expample if you are hearing one song and there's one guitar on the left side and one solo guitar on the right side I just can hear the guitar without the solo...
I'm sorry for my english.. still so bad :P

My Onkyo amp has a multitude of output settings that affect which speakers are active. You might try different settings on your Denon until you find the one that gives the best result for the ATV.

  • Comm channel missing in comm channel monitoring

    Hi,
I have created sender and receiver communication channels of adapter type XI. I am using PI 7.0 version. But I don't see these communication channels in RWB comm channel monitoring.
I was going through the help.sap.com and in
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/5c/22ee41c334c717e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
In this it is mentioned clearly as "The XI adapter as part of the Adapter Engine gets the required....."
if this is part of the adapter engine then it should show the communication channels registered for it.
Moreover if SAP doesn't want to display these XI adapter  com channels then why they have XI adapter type in the drop down box to filter the data.
Please provide your guidance in this regard.
    thanku
    bk

    Hi Bhargvi,
XI adapter is in-built in the integration engine............in RWB in comm channel monitoring, you can view all the comm channels which are at adapter engine...................so this is why you cannot see your XI, IDOC or HTTP adpater in comm channel monitoring because these adapters reside in integration engine directly..................but to tell integration engine regarding the target system you have to configue thier comm channels in ID.

  • Adapter types & comm. channels missing in comm channel monitoring

    Hello All,
We recently created a new sandbox XI system from a copy of our XI Test system
system. We used the SAPinst system copy process for ABAP+JAVA to create
this new XI sandbox system. We have followed all of the XI/PI post copy procedures listed in the system copy documentation and almost everything is working except when we going into the runtime workbench for XTX and go into communication channel monitoring for the adapter engine. When we get
here we do not see any adapter types where we should be seeing types such
as JDBC, BD, CIDX, FILE, JMS, etc We also do not see any communication channels in the communication channel monitoring if we select use filter to display all.
    Any ideas?
Any help on this would be much appreciated
    With regards
    Steven

    Hi,
First check in Integration Directory. Just create any dummy Communication Channel, if you are able to select your adapter for your communicatio channel then this is a cache issue. Just refresh the CPACache by this url.
    http://<server name>:<HTTP Port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full
Else you are not able to select any adapter for your communication channel then you have forgot to import the SAP BASIS Software Component Version into Integration Repository.
You can find it from your installation DVD's, and if you are not able to find then you can download it from service market place as given below..
    [Click on this URL|https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=00200682500000001943&_EVENT=SEARCH&HIDE=&SEARCH_SPAT=X&SEARCH_BPAT=X&SEARCH_CD=X&SEARCH_P=X&SEARCH_PV=X&SEARCH_C=X&SEARCH_CV=X&SEARCH_TA=&SEARCH_V=&HIDE_EXPERT_SEARCH=X&SEARCH_MAX_RESULT=20]
In Search Term Enter SAP BASIS 7 or 3.
    Now click on XI CONTENT SAP_BASIS 7.00 (if u r using PI else select SAP_BASIS 3.0) -
    >
    Database independent -
    > SAPBASISxxxxx-0888.ZIP (this file should be based on your SP level)
Just save this file on your machine and unzip it.
Now put this in the import directory: \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import\
Now login to Integration Repository and from menu TOOLS ---> Import design objects and import it.

    Sarvesh

  • XI communication channel missing in communication channel monitoring

    Hello partners,
I have a problem with communication channel monitoring.
I have defined a communication channel of Adapter Type = "XI" in the integration directory.
I have also sent messages successfully via this communication channel.
But the communication does not appear in the list of available channels in the selection list of the communication channel monitoring.
Can someone tell me how I can get monitoring info of an "XI" communication channel?

    Hi,
From SP17, you have a new feature
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/44/46d1a56faf52d3e10000000a1553f6/content.htm
<i>The Runtime Workbench has the following new functions:
&#9679; Component monitoring: Communication channel monitor
In component monitoring, you can use the new communication channel monitor to call information about the status of your communication channels and the corresponding adapters. You can also administrate your communication channels.
Unlike the adapter monitor, the communication channel monitor also provides current runtime information about the communication channels of individual adapters, as long as they are registered for communication channel monitoring.
To monitor adapters that do not provide runtime information to communication channel monitoring, continue to use the adapter monitor.</i>

  • Audio surround channel missing - Please advise?

    Hi,
I am using DVDSP3 to compile a DVD-V with 5.1, AC3, Apack encoded Dolby Digital Surround sound. The problem is when I playback the session all audio channels playback correctley except the rear left surround, which doesn't playback at all.
I have tried to pin point the problem with the following: -
    1. It works fine in Pro Tools where the piece was compiled. I have re-imported the discrete surround stems bounced from Pro Tools back into Pro Tools and all is well. (Audio track can be seen and audio is present)
    2. I have encoded the stems with A.Pack and decoded them in A.Pack to see if there was a problem there and that works fine also.
As soon as I bring it into DVDSP, during playback, during simulation and during export DVD image (TS_Video and TS_Audio files) the Rear Surround channel is just not there.
I have tried various combinations of build and format settings in desperation,, in case it was a glitch but with no success.
There are no menus on the DVD, all I have done is configured it to start straight away on playback.
Please can anyone help offer any advise, I need to get this sorted quick and am running out of ideas!
    Thanks in anticipation.

    Hi Kassey.
Do you mean rear surround as in 6.1 configuration? A.Pack does not provide for inclusion of a rear surround channel. But Compressor 2 and Compressor 3 do include this functionality. Compressor 3 comes with latest FCP Studio2. Unfortunately there is no upgrade path for DVD SP as a standalone application, only as a part of full Studio upgrade.

  • Solved: Channel missing / muffled / switc

I had the strangest of errors happen to me. Basically, the front left channel went muted, but the others seemed to be o.k. For a while, at least the bass for FL was still outputted via the subwoofer, but sometimes not even that. Then the front L/R sound channels were even switched on occasion - WTF? I read the forum, switched PCI slots, reinstalled drivers... nothing!
Then it occurred to me. Someone mentioned there was a way to re-assign the speakers. I had not really found where this option is, but then - IT WAS THE DARN THX CONSOLE!! Basically, when I click on "Assignment", I always thought I was only *testing* the speaker assignment - BUT, if you read the fine print, it says to click on whatever speaker is actually making the sound, and my guess is, the THX setup console dynamically re-assigns the speakers according to your responses. I got all the previous problems because I hadn't seen the fine print, and after clicking "Assignment", I had always clicked roughly the same speaker in the little setup image to get to the next "Assignment Test". I guess thereby I had messed up the mixing/assignment matrix and effecti'vely killed one of the channels.
I would strongly recommend that the THX console be re-designed with one button that says "test assignment" and one that says "software re-assign speakers". It's a case of RTFM, but this was really not very intuiti've.

I just wanted to say, I was *this* close to returning my X-Fi Fatality to Fry's... lol . This was because I knew it wasn't the connections or my amp, since clearly something was being messed with in software. I thought it was driver corruption till I understood this was actually a barely obvious "feature" of the THX console.

  • Weather Channel Missing Local On The 8's and local weather info.

I Have rebooted my box twice and still only get generic/national weather with no local info or maps for two days. According to the Weather Channel: "Your cable provider may be experiencing a technical problem with The Weather Star computer. The Weather Star is a piece of equipment located at your cable system that generates the Local On The 8s graphics for your area. " http://dw.weather.com/interact/contactus/localforecast.html Can someone please fix the box that generates the Local On The 8s graphics for the Claremont, NH area (03743)? Thank you!

Well, it's either coincidence or someone is really on the ball - either way the local came back just 10 minutes after I posted the message above. Thanks!

  • Toshiba 32W1333DN: buttons moving/deleting/edit name for channels missing

    Hello,
I just bought 32W1333DN in Sweden.
But I cannot change the position of channels in the channel list.
Both the Quick start guide that comes in the box with the TV and the online manual has images and details about how to move channels/delete channels and edit channel names in the channel list.
I am supposed to go into
    Menu->Channel List->Edit Channel List.
Once there I select channels and perform tasks by selecting buttons.
But those buttons are not there where I look at my TV.
Instead of buttons for *OK* / *Move* / *Delete* / *Edit name* / *Lock* I only have *OK* / *Lock*.
    What is going on?
In settings, Program version is *V.2.1.4A*, and Software upgrade *V.2.1.9x*.

    Hi
Please take a look into the user manual
    [Toshiba 32W1333 user manual|http://www.toshiba-om.net/LCD/PDF/English/W1333-32-English.pdf]
Page 17 provides info about Channel List, Sorting Programmes and Programme Locking.
For example to move the single channel in the list you should do the following:
The channel order may be changed to suit your personal preference.
Select Channel List from the main menu and press OK button.
Select Edit Channel List to manage all stored channels. Use Up or Down and OK buttons to select Edit Channel List.
Select Move option in the channel list and press OK button.
Edit Number screen will be displayed. Enter the desired channel number by using the numeric buttons on the remote control. If there is a previously stored channel on that number, a warning screen will be displayed. Select Yes if you want to move the channel and press OK.
    Selected channel is now moved.

  • MLB Extra Innings Channels missing from guide?

The two MLB Extra Innings HD channels (1473 & 1474) are not showing for me in the on screen guide. Both can be manually tuned to with the "program information not available" message. Is anybody else seeing this issue?

I have sent you a private message to look into this further.
