Chapter Marker Problem - Similar to post but not solved

This is my first export since upgrading; in the past all I've ever done was create chapter markers, export to QT and import into DVSPro and poof done. Life is good. Now there are no markers in DVSP. I read a thread about this same problem and it was solved with a right-click to "Add Embedded Markers." That doesn't work for me. The green markers appear in the Timeline & Canvas. I did intentionally put markers into the video & audio tracks themselves so that when I added footage at the front of the sequence I knew where to add markers into the timeline. But, again, there are chapter markers in the Timeline that show in the Canvas. HELP.

EXPORT DIRECTLY THROUGH COMPRESSOR from FCP.
It succks but the quality (especially sync sound) is best. The time is SLOW though!
Oh...don't forget when you lay down your tracks to right click on the time line in DVDSP to "show embedded markers.
I guarantee this will work!!!

How can i check for posted but not yet commited changes in a form

Dears
I make changes programmatically in a form then i post it using (Post built in).
If the user exits the form, i make check for any changes in the form to commit it using the system variable :system.form_status
Unfortunately the value of this system variable is 'Query' not 'Changed' because of using the post built in.
Is ther another system variable ( or any another way ) that check for posted but not yet commited changes in the form ?

I had faced similar situation. Using of package variable which identifies, what is the user's latest action.
This is just a workaround.
Capture what the user has performed into a variable say, PKG_VAR.ACTION,
This will be assigned values like List L, and Create C, Update U and Saved S.
If commit is executed,assing the status S to the variable.
So while closing,
IF :system.form_status = 'CHANGED' or PKG_VAR.ACTION in ('C','U') THEN
-- validate the data, n perform commit.
else
-- just close the form.
end if;

Block G/L Account for posting but not for parking

Hi Georg-Stefan,
Directly, you cannot define such a thing. G/L blocking works on every posting level.
You can try, though, to pull a trick with a validation (OB28) checking on the BKPF-BSTAT field if it's not V - then block the posting. The prerequisites will be the G/L accounts, which can be organized in sets for better maintenance.

Troubleshooting a Vobulator Error, Line 332 - Chapter Marker Problem? Is Beginning of Timeline OK?

Hi, I am getting the vobulator error on a Encore CS6 project...
"internal software error: Vobulator\Title Planner|CVOBUPlanner.cpp, line 332"
I have spent a couple hours tonight reading all the forum discussions I can on this trying to troubleshoot my problem.
First question I have is regarding the advice of "no chapter markers on the end of a timeline".
Does the beginning of my timeline qualify as an "end" that I should not have a chapter marker on?
I have one timeline in this project with about 18 chapters in it.
The first chapter is at the beginning of the timeline - seems logical to me to put a Chapter 1 in at the start.
But maybe that is wrong, since the begining of the timeline IS the starting point of the DVD?
But how can you label the start (i.e. I want to lable it "Act 1") if you don't use a chapter marker?
Also I noticed the Chapter 1 Marker got moved in to the 1 second point after transcoding. I set the chapter in premiere pro cs6 at the 0:00:00 point.
Some details on my Encore CS6 Project...
1 Video Timeline in Encore, Dynamically Linked from Premiere Pro CS6
No Menus
No Other graphics
Intent is to Auto play on loading, and stop at end action, with chapters in between for skipping around by user.
I get this error when I try to build a DVD Image. I get no errors when building a Bluray image.
Premiere Pro CS6 Project...
raw video was shot as 1080p24 video from a Canon Vixia HF S21
a few cross disolve transition at beginning and end
a few graphics at beginning (but I have successfully used all of these same graphics in other Encore projects without error).

Yes, not having a chapter marker at the end only refers to the end that is at the end. Not the end that is at the other end.
While logically the question is a good one, Encore puts a chapter marker at the beginning whether you want one or not. And one way to get this problem is to think you've faked Encore out by putting the first chapter marker two frames in.
You can label Encore's Chapter 1. I thought you had to wait till you were in Encore, but in CS6 at least, you can name it in Premiere,
If you are seeing a chapter at one second; you may have 2. In a test, Encore does not move the marker when I transcode.
Be sure you are not seeing a poster frame marker.
And it may be a different chapter marker or some other problem that is throwing the error.
I assume there is only one Premiere sequence on your one timeline, correct?
From your description, I would look for an accidental chapter marker too close to another one.
I would start over with a new Encore project.

Chapter Markers Work in H264 - QuickTime but not MP4

I post this information here in case it benefits anyone else, given the trouble I had discovering it.
Despite some opinions to the contrary, it is possible for H264 exports to incorporate chapters, based on sequence chapter-markers, but only in the context of QuickTime files [.mov]. The chapters are available for selection when such files are played in QuickTime Player (bottom-right-corner) or VLC Player (under Menu:Playback), maybe more. I am not that familiar with Windows Media Player, but was unable to locate any chapter-selection feature within it, corresponding to such files.
I confirmed the above by experiment, going on a hunch, beyond the negative results of my initial websearch, which were as follows:

Chapter markers are for DVD or Blu-ray only.
H.264 doesn't support cue points as used in FLV. It can have marker information in the file header but very few applications take any notice of it.
{Rhetoric Request}: Adobe ADD chapter marker export in h264 its been missing too long, in FCP its easy to add them.
Just to emphasize the point, it is likewise easy in Premiere to export chapter markers for h264-encoded video, but only within wrapper-files of type QuickTime [.mov], not MP4 [.mp4].
Anyone care to add anything further?

I'm not a fan of QuickTime, preferring instead the more universal MP4 wrapper. So I export out a lossless DI and use XMedia Recode to create the H.264 version, which also let's me add chapter points that are respected in several media players.
It would be nice if that were possible straight out of PP. But before that, PP needs to get have the x264 encoder built-in and include all the many user options that encoder is capable of. (Getting x264 is my primary reason for using XMedia Recode, the chapter markers are an ancillary benefit.)

Chapter buttons work fine in preview but not in build

Hi,
I am using video as a back ground and overlaying buttons that highlight when selected. The button routing is fine, default button set up, no overrides and it works fine in preview, however when I build it to disk no buttons are highlighted, cannot navigate or select any chapters. I deleted the menu are recreated it but same problem, anybody have any ideas?,

Hmmm. If there is a mismatch between menu, video and project PARs, it's possible that things got moved around enough during transcoding to make the close-but-not-overlapping button hit areas actually overlap when the project was built. The fact that repositioning the buttons and adjusting PAR fixed the problem is the biggest clue, IMHO.
At least that's my theory...

Magazine marked as INSTALLED in AppStore, but not available on iPad

I bought a magazine in the newsstand App. I lost the network during the download of the issue. I decided to start over. So I double-clicked the Home button, pressed the magazine app icon, and removed the magazine App by clicking on the red minus.
When I wanted to reinstall the magazine, it shows up as INSTALLED in the app store. But it does not exist on my iPad.
I already wiped my iPad (factory reset) and restored the backup. But this did not help. The magazine is missing, and I cannot re-download it.
How can I access my purchased magazine now?

OK. I confess, I am an idiot.
There is not a problem with Apple TV or the content.
I mistakenly thought that I had a season pass. Instead, for shows which do not offer season passes (why is that possible), I mark a show as a favorite, so I can find it later and get new episodes.
This was one of those cases. So the "New" episodes were newly available, but not yet purchased. And thus, of course I can only see the ones I've already watched because I had not purchased all the new episodes.
I apologize for my tone. I am certain that the Shade of Steve Jobs finds my lack of faith disturbing...

SFTP/FTP Proxy Problems - Works for DMZ but not for Internet Hosts?!

we have a strange problem with our TMG Proxy, some infrastructure informations first
So we have the Client LAN with the IP range 192.168.11.x which is routeable to Server LAN 192.168.3.x but not to DMZ LAN 192.168.200.x.. The TMG is a 2 Node Array, 192.168.200.5 is the DMZ VIP. TMG DMZ IP Adress (192.168.200.5) and physical Adresses have
an NAT relation to one Public IP. HTTPS Inspection is active. We dont use (and dont want to) the TMG Client component.
When i use WinSCP, Putty or Filezilla and connect to a DMZ LAN Host (192.168.200.x) with "HTTP Proxy" (192.168.3.108:8080) everything is fine, it works like expected...
When i connect to an Internet Host it fails regardless which protocol i use - ftp, sftp or ssh. The error i get is
"The token supplied to the function is invalid."

ok i found out the problem is https inspection is enabled....
- when i disable https inspection for source, same problem
- when i disable https inspection for destination, problem solved
the root cause why this worked is we had https inspection disabled for dmz destinations.
there is no direct route relation between the lan and dmz.
why is source exception not working in this?

I have PO , with GR amount of 1000, then tried to post IR amount higher than the 5% tolerance limit
PO/GR amount = 1,000
IR amount = 1,500.00
in this case when i simulate and check, i get the message Balance Not Zero , so I cannot post.
But when i use the function in this path EDIT > ACCEPT and POST , i am able to post and NOT Blocked for Payment.
Why is this so?

Please note that in MIRO if you post invoices choosing Edit- >Accept and
Post, then this procedure overwrites all other settings. Your invoice
will be posted regardless of the tolerances, etc.

SAP's explanation on this is as follows:
The system design is such that it only checks the blocking reasons at
the initial invoice verification. This was to avoid the release
functionality being too complicated and hence difficult to design. In
this case, the system still recognises the block as being valid as it
is referring to the initial invoice and it will have to be manually
released only. I hope this has cleared up any confusion you may have
regarding this issue.
In conclusion, it is only possible to automatically release invoices
if their blocking reasons are no longer valid. This can be the case for
invoices blocked due to quantity, price, or schedule variances, or due
to quality inspection.
You can only use the function Release automatically for the blocking
procedure Blocked due to variances.
However, please note that if the 'GR-Based IV' indicator is set in the
line item of the PO, the invoice can not be released automatically.
The reason behind this s that with GR-based IV the system only
makes checks against each individual goods receipt rather than
against the invoice as a whole. If you need to use GR-based IV, then the
invoice will have to be released manually in MRBR.

Receivable Invoice Posted but Not Accounted

I created a Manual receivable Invoice as normaly but when I run the create accounting process it doesn't work well, invoice was completed and posted but the create accounting in GL doesn't create the batch journal and we can't see it in the GL Lines. Can anybody tell me if this trouble is on the GL_INTERFACE and if you have any script to find the wrong validation?

This is not the standard error but due to customized process. Check with your technical team as to why and what validation is there preventing the process.

Hello Pankaj,
There are two mthods, first one is F110 > Edit > Proposal > Proposal List. Another way is SE16 > REGUH > input X selection criteria in input field REGUH-XVORL (Indicator: Only Proposal Run?) to list proposal pending for final payment.

1. Create a blank vi, put a VI filter in the block diagram (this should not be functional as it is not wired), copy it and paste it in my other project. I believe if the filter is the first vi of a blank project, it is funcitonal and then you may copy it wherever you need to.

Very strange error. Actually, there are no required inputs on this express VI, so it should be able to run even without wires. It is not correct as you said: "this should not be functional as it is not wired". Nothing will happen, true, but the run arrow should not be broken.
For some reason, the VI with the Filter express VI fails to compile. I tried it on my computer (LV 2013) and get no error when I add it to a new VI. As was suggested in the linked forum thread, you need to open the front panel of the Filter VI and run it to see the explicit error.
If you do, do you also get the error:
"This VI claims to be part of a library that does not include the VI. The VI might have been deleted from the library. Add the VI to the library again or select File - Disconnect from the library."?
If you do, it seems that you may have a project library somewhere that has taken ownership of the express VI. The ownership prevents you from running or editing the express VI. To free the VI, you need to do one of two things. Either, you need to load the library into memory, or you need to disconnect the VI from the library. Either way, you need to find the project library that has taken the ownership of the VI. As soon as it is released, it should run for you. You release it by selecting File»Disconnect from Library on the VI.
The workaround described in your link (and also here: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/compatibility-problem-labview-2009-2010-2011-quot-This-VI-claims/td-... tells that you can make a copy of the VI and thereby create another instance that is free. This solution may work for you as well, but if not, you may not have created the copy properly. Maybe your copy of the VI also became part of some project library that took ownership. In either way, you should rather find the project library to release the VI before trying the workaround to copy it.
If project library ownership is not the problem, maybe the problem is connected to LV 2011, as most forum posters report that it only happens here.

Having problems copying two sided but not printing two sided of two sided originals

I have no problem printing items two sided with two sided originals using my computer with Windows 7 but cannot copy using the automatic feeder as that option no longer appears when you click green arrow on the two sided of one sided original.

Problems with template working but not working...

Ok, so I have a template I’m using in Dreamweaver 8
– it’s working out well, with 3 editable regions, and
I'm using a couple of stylesheets as well. Unfortunately
something’s happened to the template though – I’m
able to apply it to all my pages, but within DW itself the template
is showing up as being unstylized.... you know how a page looks
when it doesn’t have a stylesheet attached – that plain
white and black? That’s how my template (and all my pages
which use the template) looks
*within* DW. If I open up the HTML files created from the
template, they'll show up fine in Firefox or Safari - but from
within Dreamweaver itself it's like it's not recognizing the
stylesheet in a way. The path is there correctly - just some how my
template is getting in the way :(
Has this happened to anyone? Any ideas on how to rectify it?
I've got a main stylesheet attached (globalstylesheet.css) but I've
never had this problem before. Help!

thanks for posting. Yes, I usually just do a child from the
template and cut and paste - would that be why the template got
screwed up.
This is really frustrating me, since the joy of DW is the
ability to view the code AND the WYSIWYG panel at the same time -
but I have no such luck right now... help!
