Chapter Select; link to chapters will not play video!

Please help!!!! I am desperate - have been at this for weeks now.
I am trying to create a Chapter Select menu separate from my main menu. Okay, I did it; made a main menu and a chapter select menu through photoshop and the buttons work fine.
When you click the button on the preview to see if you can view the video correctly, it only shows a still of the chapter of the video for a second and then returns to the main menu.
I cant figure out how to make the videos play when you click the individual chapter buttons!
Also, if i try to play the video through completely with my "Play" button on the main menu, without selecting a chapter, it doesn't play there either! It will play for 2 seconds and then it stops.
Please help! I cant find a video online to help explain so I'm hoping someone on here has ran into a similar issue.
I had heard somewhere that I have to render the video to watch it play? But I had heard that on a youtube video explaining how to make video buttons (where a clip plays on the button itself) but I just have regular word buttons so I'm not interested in that. Do I still have to render the video to have the videos play when you click the chapter buttons on the menu? Could that be the problem?

The video actually played for 2 seconds and then stopped. Continued to stay as a still after 2 seconds.

My macbook air will not play videos online, like product demo videos, etc.

My macbook air is running on OS X 10.9.5, with i5 processor, and for some unknown reason will not play videos, like short tutorial videos or demo videos for online shopping site. The enable plug-ins is on and I don't know what else to try. Never had this happen before.

If you can't install or update Flash, follow these instructions.

If you're only having trouble with YouTube videos, log in to YouTube and load this page. You may see a link with the text "Leave the HTML5 Trial." If so, click that link.

a. If you get a warning of a "blocked" or "outdated" plug-in, then select the Security tab in the Safari preferences window. In the list of plugins on the left, there should be one—and only one—entry for "Adobe Flash Player," showing the same version number that you installed. Select that entry. On the right there will be a list of websites for which you have specifically allowed Flash, if any. It's normal for the list to be empty. Below that is a menu labeled

From that menu, select either Allow or Ask.
b. If you still get the alerts, then go back to the Flash Player preference pane and select the Advanced tab. Click Check Now. Quit and relaunch the browser.

Delete the following item, or anything with a similar name, if present:
          Flash Player (failing).plugin
You may be prompted for your login password.
Step 7
Re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from the domain "get.adobe.com". Don't click a link from any other website, including this one, because you can't trust links. They may be an attempt to trick you into installing malware masquerading as Flash. Type the address into the browser window. Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
Step 8
If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked
          Allow (or Enable) plug-ins
Then click the button marked
          Manage Website Settings...
if present and make sure that the website is not blocked for Flash.
Step 9
Select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
from the Safari menu bar. If any extensions are installed, disable them.

After updating to windows 8.1 iTunes will not play video

I recently updated to Windows 8.1 but since i have my iTunes will not play video i previously downloaded from the iTunes store. The video will play in QuickTime without issue though, please help

sorry it's not my apple id. it's my icloud email/account. after i updated to ios 8.1.2 my icloud acct on my phone is wrong. it's using my old college email address instead of my current icloud account email. my old college email address *used* to be my apple id, but i changed my apple id to my gmail account a few months back. anyway i can't "sign out" or delete the icloud account bc it thinks my college email address is my icloud account and it keeps asking for the password. so i'll type in the current password for my icloud account and it says it's wrong and i need to retry or change the password, which i've already done twice and nothing changes. probably bc its asking for the password associated with the college email address it thinks is my icloud acct.
i can access icloud on my desktop without a problem... make any sense? do i have to restore my phone now or is there a solution? i've wasted the last 2 days trying to figure this out. i can't send or receive emails on my iphone bc of this. which really ***** for work.

Premiere pro update will not play video

TVNZ will not play video in safari

TVNZ On Demand says I need to load the latest Adobe Flash Player and will not play video in Safari.
The same applies for TV3 On Demand in Safari.
I definitely have the latest loaded - Plug-in version 11.9.900.117 is installed
The same problem does NOT occur within Mozilla Firefox.
It also does not happen on my older iMac - with OSX 10.2 installed.

I understand while viewing a video or listening to some different content, you lose audio, is that correct? I will do all I can to assist you with this issue.
Does the issue occur when you have headphones inserted? If you are not sure, if you have a set of headphones available could you test that please?

Adobe has not made a version of Flash for the iPad.

Hi,
First, try resetting Internet Explorer as follows - be aware that this will remove Bookmarks and Saved Passwords etc.
Open windows Control Panel, open Internet Options, click the Advanced tab and then click the Reset button. Click 'Yes' or 'Ok' to any further prompts required to complete the process.
Next, follow the guide by Daniel_Potyrala on the link below to completely uninstall and then reinstall the Flash Player Plug-in.

Itunes for windows will not play videos

Videos will not play back insde iTunes for windows on a windows 7 machine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. The video starts to play audio and a still image on screen and after a bout 3 seconds the audio stops.

My i pod will not play videos they just freeze but they work on itunes

my i pod will not play any videos that i put on but they work fine on i tunes, they play but 1 second in to the video it just frezzes and you can hear anything so what is wrong.

Have yu tried the standard fixes:
- Rest. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
-Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod

ITunes will not play videos after 10.7.0.21 upgrade.

This morning I received a pop-up that a new version of itunes was available...blah, blah, blah...I agreed and upgraded. Since then videos will not play. I have the older iPad 1, it use to play videos in safari, now it don't.

No video play back from ANY browser apps including safari, chrome and many other that I have since deleted. All I get is a black screen, it does not even look as if it's downloading the video.

Try this worked for me.Turn off power using button on side not on main screen, hold down for 5 secs. Then re power using same button.

Will not play Netflix, my videos or other videos (network apps downloaded ABC, CW etc).
I tried to re-install clear my internet history. I also waited until it was full charged.
Not sure what to do, everything else is working perfect.

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.

Netflix will not work on my HD Tv with the New IOS7. All other and movies clips work fine. The netflix screen says you need to disable mirroring to play. It plays on the ipad but just the Netflix screen on the tv. Any suggestions?

hope this message finds you all in time. The recent Apple TV update 5.1 is terrible. Apple knows it is which is why (thankfully for some relentless user -I have no idea who but I believe it was under threat) they have allowed to sign 5.0.2 again which means you can downgrade your Apple TV 2 and 3 to a 5.0.2 version via iTunes. Who knows how long they will keep the window open but I have downgraded my ATV early this morning. I couldn't post this earlier because I was out all day but I am doing it now.
Here's how to do it:
1) Connect your ATV to your computer via a Mini USB (not included with ATV but included with many other electronic devices) - in order for your ATV to appear in iTunes you must FIRST plug the USB cable to your computer and ATV and only THEN plug the power cable.
2) Download your ipsw restore file from Apple.
5.0.2 (ATV 2): AppleTV2,1_5.0.2_9B830_Restore.ipsw
5.0.2 (ATV 3): AppleTV3,1_5.0.2_9B830_Restore.ipsw
3) In iTunes select yout ATV, hold SHIFT and click on Restore
4) Find and choose the downloaded IPSW file in the Open Dialog Box and hit Next
5) As long as Apple still signs that version the Restore process will begin and will take a few minutes to complete.
