our system is unicode system,default language is chiniese(ZH)
our IGS patch level is 11
system basis release is 700 patch 13,and BW patch level is 15
everything is ok
but when we execute the query in WEB browser,the chart display error like the image below:

the text of kpi in the chart display error as the squares.
how can i make it correct?

OpenGL in C++ displayed on a web browser using java??

I have a OpenGL application written in CPP that I would like to display on a web browser.
I was wondering if their is a way to do this using java. Maybe somekind of java wrap.

Require print pushbutton on a query result displayed in a web browser

Hii,
I have a created a query in SAP Bw 3.5. and it is available under queries column in my sap easy access screen.when i double click or execute that query , the result of the query is displayed on web browser.There i am getting push buttons for follwing like.save view, bookmark, variable screen , exceptions&conditions , export to csv and export to excel.
Similarly i need a push button for print so that when i click on print , it has to print the report.
How to create push button . how to place that pushbutton in the default template that is used for display

SRM 4.0-- Blank Page displayed without Errors through Web Browser

Hi All,
Can any one help me in the following ....
We are trying to give access through the Web Browser instead of Sap GUI.
we have started all the services through SICF.
when we tried test service through WEB GUI it is showing a blank page.
It is not giving any errors on the page.
there is no problem in the URL..
Can any one help me by giving option of errors and where to check.....

ITS service not displaying page in web browser from trnx SICF

Hello gurus
iam having a problem when trying to test ITS fro trnx SICF.The web browser window pops up but it doesnt display anything.The service is active and running.
i checked at os level in dev_icm log file and found the following error:

Also, the URL you posted has no service name and would lead to an error anyways, you should test with WEBGUI or IT00 or some other service.

When displaying images in web browser, next images appears on page where I left last doc

Hello, I am in need of some help here.
I have an application that displays PDF images using Adobe Reader X v 10.1.4 through a web browser. What is happening is I view a document and scroll down to say page 2.
When I leave that document and go the next one, that document opens on page 2.
Is there anything I can do in the setting of Adobe or the way that I am making my call to show the image through the web browser to display the next image at the top of the page, rather than displaying it where I left off on the last document?
I have tried unchecking the option for Restore last view settings when reopening a document and also open cross-document links in the same window. Both of these had no effect on the issue I am encountering.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Display PDF in Web Browser Setting

Good Morning,
We recently encountered some issues with Adobe 9.0.0 on Citrix servers. We updated to Version 9.3.4, since we had not fully tested Reader X yet.
The issue is that we have an application that calls to Adobe and opens PDF files within the application. When I log on to the citrix server locally, the setting Display in PDF Browser is selected. My account is an admin of our domain. When I log in to the server with a standard account, the setting is not selected.
I found the bBrowsing Integration key in HKCU\Software\Adobe\Acrobate Reader\9.0\Originals and when I am logged in with admin account it is set to 1, when I login with the non-admin account it is set to 0.
The same key also appears in HKEY_Users\.Default\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\9.0\Originals. My question is this, can I set this globally on my Citrix servers so that the Display PDF is Browser is selected. when users login to Citrix Presentation Server, launch the applications that call to Adobe, that the pdf open in a web browsers of the applications. Currently, if you hit the link the PDF file will open in its own window.
Sorry if this is a bit wordy, but I figure it is best to give too much info as opposed to not enough.

Yes the pdf is opening in adobe. But I don't want to open a new adobe browser to open.
I want to display in the current web browser where my application is running.
eg. if u are embedding pdf file like this.
<EMBED src="temp1.pdf" width ="750" height="550"></EMBED>
It won't open the new window. It displays the result in the current window.
I have my pdf content in byte array. To wirte the above code i need a file. I even writes the byte array to a temporary pdf file. But I can't able to import that file dynamically to the WSAD workspace.
Is there any other way to embed the (byte array)pdf file in the current window.
Please advice me.

Title of a Crystal Report PDF being displayed in a web browser

I have an application that previews a report in a web browser by saving the report to the web server and then opening a new tab/window pointing at the pdf that was just created. Right now it is displaying the server name(and path to the report on the server I believe) in the title bar instead of the report title. Is it possibel to set the report title somewhere in the code so the user sees whatever I want to show them instead of anythign to do with the server?

This will get the name of the report and all of it's parts and add the .pdf to the file name:

I have checked everywhere and I do not see any way to do this with regards to the WebUI. If it is something you would like to see I'd recommend a PERS request ( performance enhancement ) driven through your account team.

Query display errors

Apologies for posting this again but I've made a little progressand wanted to be clear in what I was asking... I have two seemingly identical .bqy files, FileA and FileB.FileA was inherited from a colleague while FileB has been createdby myself. Both contain identical master datamodels, displaying 5 connectedtabels from a single database. Both use the same OCE file (not copies of the same one; the actualsame one). This OCE file fetches Metadata on the same connection onwhich the application data is retrieved. All data is held in a SQL Server 2000 database, configured in theOCE as ODBC/MS SQL Server. The metadata type field is a direct liftfrom syscolumns.xtype. Each contains a query that selects and displays all columns androws from a single table. In both cases the query is linked to themaster data model. The results of both queries appear to retrieve the same number ofrows (i.e. text at the bottom of the results say 48129 of 48129rows in both cases). FileA - the inherited bqy - retrieves and displays the resultscorrectly. FileB - the one I created - does not. varchar and bigint fields aredisplaying as blank (all other fields appear to display correctly:int, text, float, datetime etc). However, if I apply any relevantfunction to the varchar or bigint fields then they will display(for example, if I retrieve a varchar Addr1 field it displays asblank; if I apply lower() to the field it displays, albeit in lowercase). Also, in FileA if I right-click on the topic/table in the masterdatamodel and choose Detail View, 10 sample rows of data aredisplayed as expected. If I do the same in FileB, I get a dataformat error and the display does not change. Lastly, if I create a new query in FileA but don't link it to themaster data model, then make it identical to the query that works -it exhibits the same behaviour as that shown in FileB. One thing that I have noticed is in the dbgprint from therespective queries: it is identical except for a single line. WhenI run the query that works, all that is displayed (of interest) isthe SQL being sent to the server (essentially a single selectstatement with no joins). When I run the query that doesn't work,the exact same select statement is there with the addition of thefollowing line: ODBC Information: SQLFetch: rc = 1, SQLSTATE: 01004, Error Msg:[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]String data, righttruncation In all other respects the dbgprint is identical. And, as statedabove, the queries all use the exact same OCE file. I'm stumped. Can anyone help?

I was using syscolumns.xtype for my metadata column type - thiswas incorrect. I should have been using syscolumns.type. I madethat one change and all the problems I've described so fardisappeared. Bex Query Variable error in Webi and Crystal for Enterprise

I am creating a webi report based on a BEx query. There is Variable on Period/Fiscal Year from BEX side(Mandatory prompt) when I try to create a Webi or Cyrstal for Enterprise report the below error pops up. Other Bex queries work correctly. Can it be the values in the variable the following values exist when execute from Bex i.e. 001.2012; Period 2013
Is the SAP Note : 1611185 relevant for 4.1 SP2

Selection range variables are not fully supported in Crystal Reports for Enterprise.

It is not possible to set Authorization variables as mandatory. They are set to "optional" and cannot be changed (BEx limitation).

Cannot acces to the selection criteria of a local query in web browser

We cannot access to the selection criteria of a local query in using the web browser
It seems this issue is already known, a local query created with BW release 7 cannot be used with the web browser.
But this is a blocking issue in our case because we cannot create another local query in using BW 3.X and if we are using the analyser with RRMX and Excel we cannot displayed more of 65000 rows due to Analyser R3.X or R7.
That's why we want to use the web browser because we can export the extraction from the intranet in MS Excel 2007 without limitation of rows.

I checked your requirement but it is not possible to display first value as default value for a drop down list because the list will be generate when you click the drop down list. You can use a 'list box' instead of drop down list.

Web Browser Session Hangs When Opening More Than One Query

Let me start off with the BW environment - we are on BW release 3.50 at support pack level 12. Basis component is release 6.40 at level 12.
We have a situation where a web browser HTTP session "hangs" while trying to execute more than one query at a time. A role based menu template is used by our end-users to run queries. The end-users execute a query and while it is running, try to execute a second query. But the web browser for the second query does not become available until the first query is complete.
The following is the detailed steps of the process:
1. From my user menu in BW, expand the folder for Role Z: BW_REPORTING and click on SAP_BW_TEMPLATE Web_Role_Menu. Web browser window will open.
2. Within the ZTPL_Role_Menu_Reporting web page, select Role Z: FUNC_DEVELOPER > BW Reporting > Controlling > Profitability Analysis > Detail query. (Role Z: FUNC_TESTER can be used in this example as well, just follow the same menu path). Click on Detail and another web browser window will open for the query selection screen.
3. On the selection screen for the CO-PA Detail query, enter values and execute the query.
4. While the CO-PA Detail query is executing, go back to the first opened web browser for ZTPL_Role_Menu_Reporting and go to Role Z: FUNC_DEVELOPER > BW Reporting > Controlling > Profitability Analysis > Operating Concern query. Run the CO-PA Operating Concern query while the CO-PA Detail query is still executing. The session for the Operating Concern hangs and does not display the selection screen until the CO-PA Detail query has completed. Once the Detail query has finished, then the second query, CO-PA Operating Concern will then display the selection screen for the query.
Our end-users expect the second query to display the selection screen immediately with no delay. The end-users do not want to wait for the selection screen of the second query. They want to be able to execute the queries simultaneously.
Our Basis group as tried adjusting some parameters and has implemented OSS note 853396, but the issue still exists.
Is it a BW issue or is it an issue with MS Internet Explorer?

I had a somewhat similar issue earlier when I tried closing BW Query windows, it would freeze and wouldn't close. I resolved the issue by turning off some BHO (Browser help Objects) in IE.It can be done using IE>Tools>Manage Add-Ons
