Dear Ramesh,
You can maintain Global settings at T Code: RSCUSTV4. As these are global effects to all queries/workbooks. For specific workbook try with some Macro,s.
Hope it Helps

  • BEx Query Analyzer Value Display of +/- Sign

    The KeyFigure values in the BEx Analyzer are being displayed as 512.740000000-  with a negative sign in the back. I tried to change the settings in Bex Query Designer -- Query Properties -- Value Display to "Before the Number -123.45" setting. It looks like it doesn't have any effect.
    Please let me know if I need to change the setting from the backend, we are on BI 7.0.

    It should work. Try to refresh the query if not come out of Bex and Relogin. This should fix

  • Updating the characterstic values in the classification view

    Hi,
    We are trying to update the characterstic values in the material master through AUSP table (BDC program). We want to replace the old values with the new values. But the program is appending the new characterstic values to the old values. This is happening inspite of the configuration setting in the characterstic transaction (CT04) such that it allows only a single value. Please suggest us in this regard.
    Thanks

    use the following
    Set and Change Values
    Use
    You can use this function as an easy way to change, delete, or create large quantities of assigned characteristic values. Target objects can be classified, or existing assignments can be deleted.
    Prerequisites
    The selected target objects must have the same class type and object type as the template object.
    The characteristics must be the same for the target objects and template object.
    No interval values are processed. No reference characteristics are processed.
    Procedure
    Enter a class type. If the class type is for multiple object types, you see a list of the object types that you can select. Select an object type.
    Enter the characteristics whose values you want to change or set. To find characteristics, display the possible entries. To display all the characteristics of a class, choose Chars of class and enter the class.
    Characteristics: Old and New Values
    You can replace old values with new values. You can set completely new values if no value was assigned before, or delete old values.
    Use the possible entries to select values.
    You can only select one value for each line. If you want to process several values, you must select the same characteristic several times.
    Changing Values with an Operator
    If a characteristic has numeric format, you can use an operator to recalculate values. You can add, subtract, multiply, and divide figures. For character format, the operator fields are grayed out.
    On the Target objs tab, enter the objects to which you want to copy the new values.
    For more details on this procedure, a description of further functions, and information on the log, see the third and fourth steps in Copy Values Assigned to Object.
    On the Assignments tab, you can classify the target objects or delete existing assignments. Enter the class or select one using the possible entries. You can go to class management by choosing  Display class.
    Choose  Carry out a mass change.

  • Characterstic Value Length - Variant Configuration.

    Hello,
    I am defining Characterstics to be used in Variant Configuration.
    SAP is limiting the maximum length of the characterstic value only to Max of 30 chars.
    I have certain scenarios where the Value for a certain characterstic may be
    more than 30 characters.
    Is there any way to overcome this in SAP. I am sure this kind of issue might have arised in any of your projects.
    Can you please share your expertise to overcome this situation.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Best Regards,
    Bharat.

    No.  Your limited to the 30 characters.  You should try to figure a way to either abbreviate the values or split the single charac. into multiple charac. if possible.
    Depending on how your planning to use the info there are some things you can do.
    You can allow multiple values and additional values.  Then you can type as many "lines" of text that you want.  Start each new entry with a number.  As in
    1 This is text to 30 characters
    2 This liine is more text to 30
    3 This line is a 3rd line
    etc..
    You need the numbers other wise I believe SAP will sort the values alphabetically and can present them in a different order when shown in display.
    I have also created multiple characteristics for this as well
    CHAR_TEXT_1
    CHAR_TEXT_2
    CHAR_TEXT_3
    We can then type in short text info as a value in the class and mark it as the default text so it defaults onto each new batch.  I've used this to put short segments of text on COA's.  The characteristic description is set to what ever we want to display on a the COA.  So it might wind up something like:
    WARNING:  Wear OSHA approved respirator.
    WARNING:  Wear latex gloves

  • FM for characterstic value of a function location (asset)

    Hi All,
    Can any one please tell me the FM module to be used for finding the characterstic value for a given characterisctic name of a function location in IL03 (classification).
    I have tried using BAPI_CLASS_GET_CHARACTERISTICS, but it is not yielding the desired results.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    I don't know why you are not getting the proper reult.
    BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL iis uesd to get both character and numeric values back form the classes.
    Check this:
    LV_OBJECT = I_TPLNR.
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL'
    EXPORTING
    OBJECTKEY = LV_OBJECT
    OBJECTTABLE = 'IFLOT'
    CLASSNUM = 'Z_DEPOT'

    TABLES
    ALLOCVALUESNUM = WT_ALLOCVALUESNUM
    ALLOCVALUESCHAR = WT_ALLOCVALUESCHAR
    ALLOCVALUESCURR = WT_ALLOCVALUESCURR
    RETURN = IT_RETURN.
    Furthermore i have a list of BAPI. [Try this link|http://www.saptechies.com/sap-bapi-list/].
    May it helps you.

  • Asset explorer -Wrong value displayed after retirement of an asset.

    Hi All,
    We have posted a settlement from AUC to Assetas 30.11.2009 .The amount settled is a negative amount (-100) .The asset value  is  for ex : Rs100 and after settlement the asset value is Rs 90.
    Then we had made retirement to that asset  of Rs 10(positive value) using tcode FB01 and TTY 20A.Then the asset value should reflect as Rs 100 again.
    I am not sure why the system now displays asset value as Rs 100 +Rs 10(retirement - positivevalue) = Rs 110 as asset value.
    However system should do Rs100 +(Rs -10) +Rs10=Rs100 as asset value in asset explorer.However it displays amount as Rs 110.
    Please advice where do i correct to get the values displayed correctly in asset explorer.

  • Select options: Restricting Value Display in Search Help Parameters

    Hello friends,
    I have following requirement.
    I have declared one select option. On that select options I'am having different search help paremeters on which I can restrict the search help values display.
    Can I specify the restriction in search help at the time of programming so that it would display only the values that follows the given restriction?
    I can ofcourse do this by AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE REQUEST, however I am trying to avoid this.
    How can I proceed?
    Points will be rewarded generously.

  • Characterstic Values in Batch Master record

    Hi,
    Is there any report where in characterstic values can be seen for batch master records?
    Regards,
    Prasad

    Hi,
    I think there is no standard report to satisfy your requirement. You can create a Z report using tables MCHA and MCHB etc.
    thanks and regards

  • URGENT!!VALUES DISPLAY IN CHART BARS & COLOR THEMES !!

    hi
    I want the chart to be displayed with the their values but u can see the values only by rolling over each bars.
    Could anyone help me out what are the solutions to be carried out???Is there any options in the EP itself to enter the values displayed automatically when execting it????
    what about the color themes to be changed for each bars as per user requirement in EP???
    THNX
    RAJ.

    hi Raj,
    Few options:
    1. if you are using query designer to create query and displaying it in the web analyser and choose graph there, you cant really change the colors of the graphs.
    In that case you have to create the web template in the WAD for the same query in BI and make color selections in the graph control in WAD.
    2.If you dont want to use WAD, you can use visual composer and try out various options of its chart control. you also have animations possible in visual composer. VC is totally in EP and you dont have to do much on BI except for the query creation.
    hope it helps..
