Charge for texts when using iMessage
Why am I charged for texts that include photos or video when using iMessage to send or receive with other Apple products? Should the senders use an email address instead of my iPhone number? I have ATT with pay as you go texting. I'm only charged when there's a photo or video attached.

If you still can't send or receive iMessages
Ensure that iMessage is turned on in Settings > Messages.
To send and receive iMessages, your device must have a valid cellular or Wi-Fi data connection.

iMessage registration validates your Apple ID for use with iMessage. If you are unable to activate iMessage, follow this article.
If an iMessage cannot be sent, it will be resent using SMS or MMS, depending on the content. You can turn this behavior on or off in Settings > Messages > Send As SMS. Carrier messaging rates may apply.
Verify that the Apple ID or phone number is listed in Settings > Messages > Send & Receive.
Step 4 above describes how to turn off having failed iMessages send as texts to prevent this from happening.

Charged for texting when I have a texting package
I had the 700 minute family share plan and also for my line I had a 500 text allotment. Today I go on my page to view my upcoming bill. I have a charge for $91.95 in texts. Made up of 15 total picture/video messages and 400+ regular texts. The total combined did not go over 500. It was around $40 in charges for sent and received messages.
So I had changed my plan to a better plan but set it to not go into effect until my next billing cycle which began 4 days ago.
Why do I have charges for all those texts when I had the 500 text package for $10? All those texts I am being charge for were during the previous billing cycle when I had the 500 allotment. I've since changed over to the 700 minute family talk and text plan which is unlimited texts.
Anyone hav ea clue what they are charging me for? Hopefully that made sense. Kind of tough to explain when you can't just show your bill right here to give the full picture.Here is my portion of that bill minus my phone #s on the account. I have a feeling maybe they canceled something before I wanetd it to be? I was due for a new contract around 12/18 but I was shopping for a different plan so I just let that pass. So the current one would have just kept going as it was. The texting I used was obviously under 500 texts. I'm thinking maybe I got billed in advance for something to make it that way. I can't distinguish stuff too well.

How Adobe charges for download when using Sections
Hello:
I setup the sections on DPS Folio Producer and look at my app and I see several screenshots from the main page of every section so I can download each section individually..... I have two questions:
1) If I don't set or enter a section name in a any article stack, it won't show on the sections list, how do I know how to download it?
2) If I only download one section, does it count as a full download towards my folio downloads?

when using imessage, dos it count against your minutes in your plan or is it totally free?
iMessage does not use call minutes or SMS message quota in your plan. It does use data when when the phone is connected to cellular data. When you use WiFi, it's completely free.

Welcome to our family. We want you to be able to enjoy all the services we provide and we definitely need to address this. Do you receive/make calls without problems? Are you able to receive messages with your contacts' number? Are you using iMessages? If so, go to Settings>Messages>Send&Receive>only your phone number should be enabled.

my friend is out of the country, and he wants use imessage, but i dont know if it will give me charges to my account and apple doesnt mention if it's only unlimited messaging within the country
iMessage uses data, just like an email, if I can use that analogy. It will not count as SMS, however I have read somewhere where some people have reported getting SMS charges when using iMessage. I believe it is impossible though, unless the message does not go through and you have send as SMS checked in settings if the iMessage fails.

I have checked “Search for text when I start typing” but it is not happening since your latest update. This is very important to me as I keyboard - not use the mouse. What can I do? Also, before the last update I could leave the window (alt+tab) and return and just type and it would type it is the search box. Now I have to take my hand off the keyboard and get the mouse three times for every search, slowing my work way, way down. What other flag do I need to put this back the way it was? Should I also remove the “Automatically check for updates” so that this will not happen again? Please, please help.

If you are on any other plan, there will be a charge.

I only see the phone numbers of my contacts when using iMessage on my MAC, whereas I see the names on my iPhone. Why, and how can I make it so I see the names (and pics) on my MAC?
Thanks Eric, but that was already turned on. I just now tried turning it off and on again, no change. Actually, I"m more interested in seeing the names than the pictures. I now only see the phone numbers and generic avatars where pics would be.

I am on a PAYG Everything Pack but have been charged for texts
Everything Pack is meant to give me Unlimited Texts but, on 28/07/15, I have been charged for texts to wife and son mobiles. Not happy. No point trying to find out via Twitter or Facebook as they won't tell you anything. No Live Chat facility.

I'm really sorry to hear about this - let me see if I can help, or at least point you in the right direction. So, you may want to contact the EE Customer Service team over the phone, if you don't think Twitter or Facebook will be able to resolve this for you. I'm not sure why you would have been charged - unless it was a premium service, for example you were texting a charity to make a donation, but I can see you say it was just your wifes & sons mobile number, so yeah... contacting EE directly is probably the best course of action. They'll definitely be able to help you with this one. Here's how to get in touch with the EE Customer Service team:
