Charged but no confirmation email?

I'm wondering why there is an authorization hold on my online bank information when I haven't even gotten a confirmation email for my order yet. I ordered early last week and it's been almost a week now, but I still haven't received a confirmation email although my account has been charged. Does this mean that my computer has already shipped out, or is this something that Lenovo does to check if you have enough money in your account? I need the computer really quickly, and I can't really afford to wait. I just might cancel the order if it takes any longer to get my confirmation email. Also, I can't find any indication on the website that I ordered anything. btw, I ordered on the lenovo outlet site. Can anyone help?

  • Ordered Iphone but no confirmation email

    I ordered the iphone last night on my business account around 2:20. It took me a while to get it to work for the business account as I had been trying soon as they started taking orders. I finally got it to work, placed the order, but never got a confirmation email to my personal email or to my work email. I thought maybe that the order didn't work, so I went to my account and my orders and the iphone order showed up. I clicked it and it just said N/A beside status, shipping, and tracking number. Underneath it said "due to the increase in demand for this product, etc.." Well I go to bed thinking I'll have an email when I wake up confirming the order and giving me a shipping number. Never got it. I go back to the site, check my order number, and the part in quotes at the bottom is no longer there and under status, it says completed but still has a N/A by everything else. 
    Can anyone let me know if they had this same problem?

    That's how mine was when I ordered at 3:00 on the 7th.  Never heard one thing from them until I got an email from Verizon saying it had been shipped with a tracking number.  That happened on 8th about 6:00 pm.  I kept checking my account and saw that it had been charged about 2 hrs. before I got any info from Verizon.  I even clicked update of my phone number and it showed that I had an order pending.

  • I've registered for the Firefox support forum, but the confirmation email hasn't come (after 3 + hours and 2 extra requests to "resend" it).

    Besides the original registration, and 2 additional requests for the confirmation email, plus asking a previous question, which appears to have triggered the sending of yet another confirmation email, I've received none! And I really don't mind waiting an hour for a confirmation email, but 3 hours and counting is not acceptable.
    And there appears to be no other way to contact anyone about anything -- except for a feedback form in which you have to explain the problem in one or 2 short sentences.
    Yes, I've checked my ISP and my email is working fine. The test message I sent myself arrived in under one second! I've checked my spam folders, and they aren't there either.....not one.

  • Submitted Podcast, but no confirmation email

    I submitted a podcast several times to the following link:

    Email address is correct, but I have not recieved submission confirmation email nor have I recieved approved email.
    Additionally, podcast is not listed in iTunes store.
    Feed URL is validated so shouldn't be any technical problems.

    If anyone has any idea why I'm receiving zero response from iTunes team, please let me know.

    You would normally get an automated email acknowledging submission, but it can take several weeks for a podcast to be accepted.
    If you attempt to submit a feed a second time you should get an error message telling you it's already been submitted. If this isn't happening then the submissions process may have fallen over temporarily - it's been known. If that's the case all you can do is wait a day or two and try again. I'm afraid there's no way for outsiders to know what is going on with the Store.

  • I requested a repair, but there was an error after clicking the button with my credit card info. I was still charged, but the form email I received the next day had incorrect info about my iPod Touch problem. How can I contact CS w/o paying $19?!

    My iPod Touch battery is not working. I requested a repair through the Apple Support. On the final page, when I clicked the button that puts the info through with your credit card number, the resulting page gave an error (I wish I'd have saved it!). Anyhow, I checked my credit card and it was charged, so I assumed the repair request went through. The next day I received a form email saying my problem was with "Sync with iTunes (Not iCloud) - Data Backup/Migration (not iCloud)" instead of the battery repair. It also says for iPod customers, to send your iPod to Apple - but I had requested the "iPod Coffin" to be mailed to me so I could send it back. Obviously there was an error between the request and what was received, so I'd like to ask Customer Service about it. However, I can't find a way to contact them. When I replied to that form email, I recieved an automated reply saying emails there were not read. Anything online asks me to pay $19 and I don't have the correct issues to request an exception. The closest store is over an hour away or I'd simply go there to ask. What can I do?! Any suggestions you have are much appreciated. Thank you!
    PS - The form email also says if I wait 10 days the repair request will be canceled. Does this mean my credit card will be refunded for the $85 battery replacement charge if it is canceled automatically?

    Thanks, but I've been on the phone with AppleCare US (where I am and live) and AppleCare UK. They continue bouncing me back and forth without helping resolve the problem.
    Perhaps someones knows how to further escalate the issue at Apple?

    Went through the process to claim free voucher, got confirmation that being processed, but for over two days never receive confirmation from skype at my outlook email and credit not reflected in skype account.

    Can you share some details on what free voucher you tried to claim with Skype? I'm currently not aware of any such campaigns actively ran by us.

    No, not yet. Just order at about 3pm this afternoon, still hopping I receive it this Friday as I'm sending my iPhone 3G off tomorrow!

    Creating an Apple ID is very simple. Now one of the following may have happened:
    Email may have sent to your spambox
    Email may have sent to A different mailbox
    If none of these happened then try it with A different email address.

    Yes I think it might take awhile, 5 hours is not too long, but I know what you mean about usually getting confirmation emails right away.. I can't recall how long it took me to recieve my confirmation email, as I registered years ago.  It could come at anytime.  You will get it soon.  If I were you, I wouldn't be worried.  I'd just give it more time.

    i am from austria - the same problem. I open a Paid Account an the next day a Free Books Account... no one, no other confirmation email arrived. Today I open a new Free Book account with a gmail mail adress. And see: the confirmation arrived in the same minute.
    This seems to be the evidence that address is the problem, e-mail from foreign countrys not recognize.
    Very bad, because i the first two addresses may no longer use.

    newburyparkmm1 thanks for your information. I spoke with the CS earlier today and that's what she told me. I asked her will I get my order on the 19th, despite the online status shows not available but the confirmation email shows 9/19, she assured me multiple times it'll be the 19th.
    Anyway the temp hold on my CC has disappeared. Now sure if that's a good thing or no but I hope by next week we'll receive an answer.

    I am having the same issue. When I try to update my payment information I receive an error that states, "We're sorry, something seems to be wrong on our end. Please try again later.
    After Adobe's servers were breached I received a phonecall from my bank, stating that someone had used my credit card at a hotel in Mexico (I live in Ohio). I closed that credit card and was issued a new card. I want to update my card information on my Creative Cloud subscription. I chatted via the web with a customer service rep today. He was anable to help me. He suggested I call the Care Center. The hold was estimated at 2 hours. All I want to do is update my card information so the next time Adobe automatically bills for my subscription the transaction doesn't bounce.

    Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
