Charged for annual subscription instead of 3-month...

I filled out the form for a Skype number. I asked for a 3 month (15€) subscription.
I changed my credit card details as they were out of date and then submitted the order.
OK, I should have checked, but having said "3 months" I expected it to stay that way.
I have now been charged for 1 year which will take my bank account into overdraft and cause me all sorts of problems. Is there a way to reverse the transaction and get what I originally asked for?

    Depending on where you are in your subscription cycle / membership and the type of membership
    If you have an individual membership, and opted for the annual membership (lower monthly fee). If you are cancelling in the middle of your membership, then you would be billed 50% of what's left of your membership for the remainder of the year, basically that would then in $$s become more like having taken out a month-by-month membership (higher monthly membership fee).
    If you are in the last month of your annual membership or your are on a month-by-month membership, you can log into your creative cloud account, cancel the plan yourself (no additional charges apply), by logging in with your Adobe ID and password, click your name in top left of screen and click on Manage Account.

  • Charged an annual subscription fee but not getting my product.

    It would seem that Adobe have helped themselves to £12.70 from my bank account.  When I look to see what it is for, it would seem that they have taken a renewal fee from me for Adobe PDF Export.  OK, so I had this last year and it didnt work.  When I go to an Adobe file and try to convert it to word it asks me to renew.  I have seemingly already done this so why does it continually ask me to do it again.  NOT HAPPY.

    OK thank you for that.  Actually just as you emailed this to me I was looking on a pdf document on my pc and I didnt actually realise I needed to be logged in to my account for it to be able to convert a pdf whilst I was using my laptop.  So everytime I was asking it to convert a document to word it told me that I had to subsribe but when I am signed in, it locates my account and converts the document straight away.
    Its a bit confusing and there is not much help on the adobe website, but a note on the blod might be helpful so idiots like me know that they have to be logged in for it to work!!!

    Last year I ordered subscription Croatia Unlimited. For a period of 12 months. I expected that I will get an offer from Skype if I want to renew my subscription. That did not happen. Instead, this year, two days ago, they just charged my credit card and informed me that I have ordered another year of the same subscription, which I did not.
    The charge is 50.88 € for a period of another 12 months that I did not order and that I do not need. There is no one to contact to ask for my money back. No e-mail I could write to. I feel cheated. I feel Skype has stole my money. It does not feel good. If there is anybody out there who knows how I can ask and get my money back, I would appreciate any help.
    If I don't get my money back, I'll make sure to advise everyone against Skype. One may think that means nothing, but people actually take my advice. To think I actually brought some of my friends and clients to Skype.

    unfortunately, in case you did not realize by now, I presume Skype does not even read the posts at this forum, let alone answer on any or act upon receiving any.
    The way I see it, they put this forum together just so that members would have some place to write their complaints an just so that members would feel like they actually have complained about anything. In reality, this is just a tool so that we, Skype members, could exchange bad experiences with someone and then, Skype hopes, we would feel better and forget about money we are all missing, and that went to Skype.
    I support your claims about fraudulent billings, however if this kind of Skype billing started 3/26/12 and has been going on until now, why did you leave your credit card active until now? If you don't have Skype account, it is fair to assume that someone else has used your credit card to pay for their own Skype account. If that is the case, Skype has no reason not to charge because to them it seems legit.
    What you should have done is have your bank or credit card company mark those payments as fraud, refund your money and if necessary cancel your card. And then get a new card. In this way, who ever has used your card to commit fraud, his Skype account will be canceled because Skype will have no means to charge from.
    Best thing for you to do now is to cancel your card and to ask for a refund from bank or credit card company. They should also be responsible if you did not authorize those payments.

    Dear Adobe,
    much as I dislike the thought of posting my private business on an open forum, I have no choice in this matter as your chatlines hardley ever seem to be available.
    I signed up for a one-month trial of Indesign CC, then decided to deactivate my subscription (well before the month was up) so that I would not be charged. I had the chat below which led me to believe I didn't need to take any more steps to ensure deactivation. But no, I have now been charged for a month's use, despite alerting Adobe that I wanted to unsubscribe and then uninstalling the program from my computer.
    Please make sure I am unsubscribed and refund my credit card immediately.
    I am very unhappy to see the number of people on these forums who have similar problems, so I will have a hard time ever trusting Adobe again.

    As the agent explained, there were no paid subscriptions under the account details you provided so there was nothing to cancel.
    Could you please check and let me know if you used a different email address to sign up for the subscription.

    Just saw the announcement about the release of Captivate 8. I have an annual subscription to Captivate. When I check on Updates from within Captivate 7 it says all my subscriptions are up to date.  Will it be available soon via Updates or is there another route to get version 8?

    Wait.... I think I recall from the last update from Version 6 to 7 that you go to the trial download page, download the new version and somehow it recognizes that you have a subscription license.  Is that correct, i.e., we go to:

    Yes, it is available. Here's what I did:
    I used the Search box to pop up information for Captivate
    I clicked the Try Now link
    Logged into my account when prompted
    After redirection to the download page, I downloaded the appropriate version
    During the installation process I was asked to either Install or Try
    Click Install
    During this process you'll be asked to Sign in to complete registration - it's automated

    I have been charged for an apparently free 6 issue magazine subscription after only receiving 1 issue.
    I have contacted the magazine company whom said it was an I tunes issue, so I contacted I tunes and still have no response. I do not want the subscription and definitely want the money returned as I have not received the goods I was informed I would receive. I have been greatly misinformed, mis sold and charged for services I have not agreed to.
    I require a response and explanation from somebody.

    If the subscription was represented as free, but you got charged anyway, that is one thing.
    If you paid for something and "have not received the goods" that is a different thing.
    Please be clear on what your point is, and then contact iTunes Customer Service.

    No there isn't. If you want to activate the Touch ID, you have to have a passcode for security purpose, in case the Touch ID fails. And, to use Touch ID on the App Store, it has to be active for unlocking the phone. While you can use it to unlock the phone and not use it for the App store, if you use it for the App store, you have to use it for both.
