Charged for old plan overage and new plan in same month.

I changed to a 10G data plan and was charged.  The old plan total was refunded but the overage charges were still added to by bill.  Why?

I am sorry the overage charges still appeared on your billing statement after changing your data plan. Did you change your plan without backdating it to the beginning of the bill cycle? If so, there would have been a prorated amount of data and any overage for the allowance would appear on your billing statement.Review the billing statement to note when the plan change took affect and compare it to your bill cycle on My VZW http://bit.ly/xB4iTc.
