Charged for SMS - did not use SMS

I have been charged for 2 SMS. I do not use SMS. The number listed for SMS in my detailed usage is a landline which is not capable of sending SMS. Spent 30 minutes on support chat with a rep who had a very poor grasp of english and accomplished nothing. Will be canceling Skype after this billing period.

I am now unable to send SMS messages from Skype, in spite of having a credit in my acct.
The message in the dialogue box is "to send a SMS to this number you need to verify your number.

    I decided to go back onto my computer to redownload it, if the songs just didn't get to download fully, and iTunes didn't let me download it again.
    Doublechecking. Did you delete the two songs (and their associated files) from your iTunes library prior to attempting the redownload?

    To activate iMessage, the phone will send an SMS to Apple, containing your phone details. Your carrier may charge you for that if you don't have an unlimited SMS account or only a certain number of free texts. This will only happen once. After iMessage is set up, you will only be charge by your carrier if the iMessage can't be sent as iMessage, for example if the recipient does not have an iPhone,or if iMessage is not available.
    This can be set up in Settings/Messages/

    I was playing super dynamite fishing on my iPad (on my iPhone now cause no more internet on my way to work) and I tried to purchase an money pack for $7.99. I got an error message saying that the app was from another iTunes account and I had to sign in with that one. I signed in with my sons account, and tried again but got the same message.     Where are you trying to log in? You should be able to change your ID at http://appleid.apple.com - can you log in there?
    Before you change your ID you should log out of the iTunes Store and on any devices which are logged into iCloud. Then once you've changed it you can log back in with the new ID. (Your iCloud synced data will disappear from the device when you do this but will reappear when you sign back in - give it time).
    If you are unable to sign into http://appleid.apple.com you will need to contact Support. Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com . Click' See all products and services', then 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID', then 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'.     You most likely did not receive the usual receipt because it was one of those authorization charges. It happens time to time, and should drop off your card. But go ahead and check with iTS just to make sure.

    You've checked the purchase history on your account : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases

    I have changed my apple id on system preferences under users and groups but the icloud preferences don't pick up the change.
    I restarted my computer, and still no change.
    I have been using icloud under my old apple id for mail calendars and notes.

    Thank you Roger, your solution gave me the courage to sign out of Systems Preferences.  The pop up told me it was going to delete my contact and other information from my mac, so I was hesitant to do that.  Well I did as you directed and I was able to sign in with my new apple id and I did not lose the information the pop up threatened I was going to.  So again thank you.  It is the little things that make a big difference sometimes.

    Basically my computer is running on Snow Leopard. My father bought the Lion upgrade to install on his computer, however, it ended up being that his newly purchased lap top already came running with Lion -- thus, he never ended up using the Lion upgrade he purchased. Now, I would like to use the Lion upgrade he purchased but did not use to upgrade my computer to Snow Leopard. The information he gave me for this was the Web Order Number, Part Number, and Content Code for the Lion upgrade. How do I redeem/use his upgrade to update my computer to Lion without having to purchase another copy of the Lion software from the App store? Is that possible?
