Charged for subscription fee, but no results
Yesterday, I was charged for my month subscription fee for a monthly 60minutes to France. Not only did the minutes meter of how many minutes left I have NOT change from 0 back to 60, but also, Skype is requesting another monthly fee due October 2nd? Can this please be resolved.. I'm being charged twice the cost for no results.. this is ridiculous.

the minutes of your subscription are reset on the 2nd of each month, at around 22:30 GMT time. The recurring payment is taken 3 days prior to the day the minutes are reset, I can see the next payment will be taken on October 30th.

It would seem that Adobe have helped themselves to £12.70 from my bank account. When I look to see what it is for, it would seem that they have taken a renewal fee from me for Adobe PDF Export. OK, so I had this last year and it didnt work. When I go to an Adobe file and try to convert it to word it asks me to renew. I have seemingly already done this so why does it continually ask me to do it again. NOT HAPPY.
OK thank you for that. Actually just as you emailed this to me I was looking on a pdf document on my pc and I didnt actually realise I needed to be logged in to my account for it to be able to convert a pdf whilst I was using my laptop. So everytime I was asking it to convert a document to word it told me that I had to subsribe but when I am signed in, it locates my account and converts the document straight away.
Its a bit confusing and there is not much help on the adobe website, but a note on the blod might be helpful so idiots like me know that they have to be logged in for it to work!!!

Why does Apple need to charge for feature updates, but Sony doesn't?
Ok, so I know all about the subscription-based accounting reasons for why Apple has to charge a nominal fee for firmware updates that provide new features to the iPod touch (but not iPhone).
I don't have a problem with this fee, and personally think its quite reasonable, and am happy to pay it.
However, I'm curious as to why Apple has to charge for these updates, but Sony doesn't - and I've not been able to find a reason.
Since the release of both Sony's PSP and PS3 video game consoles, Sony have frequently released firmware updates that add many minor and some very significant new features to both consoles, as Apple have done with the iPod touch.
However, Sony has never charged for these new features. Does anyone really know why there's this difference?You better believe that any company doing business in the US has to follow US laws. You don't get to just say, oh well we have our headquarters in another country so we can do what we want in yours. Hehe I am pretty sure diplomatic immunity doesn't come with selling something in the US. The accounting reason is a sham. Apple knows that their customers are desperate for "coolness" and will sacrifice features and customer service and pay for that privelege.
What really gets me is that I already bought the January update. The only thing 2.0 adds is the "priveledge" of paying Apple to buy applications. So of course I bought the 2.0 update because I am an idiot and now my audiobooks will not play. Will they support it no. I buy an update from them, it screws up my ipod and then I can't even call or email to get some help. Instead I have to travel an hour to the nearest Apple store. I recently bought my first iPod but after all the horrendous experiences I have had with their lack of support and idiotic "geniuses" at the genius bar, I will never buy another apple product. Which is too bad because they have the most elegant and fun to use interfaces. However, I would rather have something a bit less elegant but that I can get service on without a 3 hour time commitment on my part. -
I am trying to download songs onto my PC it gets to about 85% downloaded and then freezes I have to turn off and restart but then I have been charged for the item but it is not available in my downloads can anyone help?

Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer. -
my serial number is "not valid for subscription products", but of course it should be. how do I fix that?

In case you bought your program from these firms like Amazon this "serial number" obtained from them is not a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe.
The following part, so I just see at least ceased to exist on my Adobe website, everything plays out in the link from above. I let it there as an info:
Here you have to go through your "Adobe Store", and look for the button "Serial Number Request". Fill in the form and, after a while you will get a "real" serial number.

I purchased an iBook and when I try to download it I get sent in a circle. Message pops up that it's already been purchased & I need to go to store to download but it never downloads, stays in pause mode. I have been charged for the book but can't retrieve it. I've successfully purchased books before without trouble.very frustrated

Try this:
Open your iBooks app on your iPad
Select the Store Button at the top
Select Purchased at the bottom
You will see your AppleID on the right at the bottom, then Redeem, then Support
Click on your Apple ID, and when the AppleID window comes up with the options, Sign Out
Then Sign In again and try redownloading your book

Try the remaining items of:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Try a reset: hold the on/off switch and the home button simultanously for around 1 minute until the Apple logo appears. If the reset doesnt' work, you'll need to bring the phone to Apple for evaluation.

We charge for our paper catalogue but for some premium customers, they can obtain our catalogues for free.
If I publish my catalogue with iBooks author, could I charge some customers only and not the others? Is there a way to issue coupon code or using any alternative method to achieve this?No. If you want to give it away to some people, you would have to distribute it yourself by email, server download, etc., instead of via the iBookstore.

Charged for Student Spotify but Haven't received Premium service.
I tried to get Premium with the student discount but couldn't since I couldn't be found in the college's system. This made sense to me since I haven't registered for classes or started attending, however I recieved a charge for $4.99 from Spotify but have yet to recieve any Premium perks and my account is still labeled as "Free." I already tried logging out and back in as well as reinstalling the app in both my phone and my laptop.

Make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify. Once you get it, make sure to reply back right away, even if it says it's from a "no-reply" email.

Sorry about this! You'll have to email Apple and explain your loss. You can contact them with complaints by clicking on "Support" in the upper right corner when you're in the iTunes Store. Then follow the online instructions to email Apple. (Sorry this isn't working right now--Apple seems to be overwhelmed by iPhone business. If the support lines are overwhelmed--that's probably not the best scenario for Apple!)

Go back to the App Store and try to download it again. If it says in the store that it's already Installed, it's probably somewhere on the iPad.
