Charged for upgrade and never finished the upgrade

In august I went to the local verizon store after realizing I was eligible for an upgrade. Online I was able to get an iPhone or galaxy for free but when I went to the store that was not the case. I started the upgrade process in the store but did not have the funds necessary so had to cancel. Now that it is almost Christmas my husband wants to get me a new phone but my upgrade date shows 2016 and after going back through my bills I was charged the upgrade fee even though I never successfully completed the upgrade. Has anyone else had this problem? I have about had enough with verizon and am thinking of switching if I resolve this matter and once my husbands line is out of contract.

Aussimick you will want to enter in the qualifying serial number from the full version of Adobe software you purchased. reboot your phone then restart the app updates again. This usually fixes the problem. Also if you have a lot of updates it will try to do too many at once. tap the ones that are downloading and pause all but two at a time. As soon as thoughs go into the installing unpause the next two. If you have too many going at once then during the install it takes too long before it starts the next download on itunes will require a password again so it stops all the update in the middle. The other work around is to update one at a time in the app store instead of hitting the update all button.

My macbook pro stalls during software update and never finishes the update

My Macbook Pro is a 17-inch laptop purchased in early 2011. It's on system 10.7.5. Software Update keeps telling me I need to update.
I click ok, it starts to update, then gets stalled "moving 3 items into place".
I've tried many times to do this update, but it NEVER finishes the update, just stays stalled "moving items into place" and it can stay that way for HOURS. Then I need to go back to work, so I re-start. What's the problem, and how can I fix it?

Could be the charger, cable or the iPad.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
And this - Unplug the charger from the iPad and then replug. May resume charging.
Or - Recalibrate the battery. See link below.

from the system information you've submitted it appears that the java plugin by oracle is already present on your system (but not the latest version). if you're having problems downloading java update 7 from java.com you can also use the inbuilt updater for java, that is accessible in the windows control panel (see [http://www.java.com/en/download/help/java_update.xml]).

Everthing looked good but it never started again.
It's stuck in the tiny apply screen with the status bar under it.

Try this and see if it will restart the update. If it doe not work, you will need to restore your iPad using Recovery Mode.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

I really hope someone can help me. Ive been trying to download the newest ios 7 for 2 days. It always starts very slow and says it will take up to 5 hours. IT ususally downloads for about 2 hours before showing an error and claiming |II have newtwork setting issues or connectivity problems but my internet connection is fine. This is soooo frustrating I cant keep wasting all this time for nothing!!!! Eveytime the error shows up I have to rstart downloading from the beginning! Please HELP ME

1.Turn off your device. If you can't turn it off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time and wait a few seconds for it to turn off.
2.Plug the device's USB cable into your computer only.
3.Hold down the device's Home button as you connect the USB cable to it.
4.When you see the Connect to iTunes screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 one more time.
5.Use iTunes to restore your device.
Additional Information:
If you started your device in recovery mode by mistake, restart it to exit recovery mode. Or you can just wait—after 15 minutes the device will exit recovery mode by itself. If you want a faster way to solve iPad Stuck in Recovery Mode, try iPad data recovery software.

IPhoto update gets to step 5 of 9 (98% complete) and never finishes. What's up?

Hello, I have a 2011 MacBook Air. All of a sudden last week, I wasn't able to open iPhoto. Instead, I was prompted to update the software. I ran software update, but still saw the same message from iPhoto. I thought it might have to do with the system, so I updated from Mac OS X 10.6.8 to 10.7.4. Finally, I was able to open iPhoto but was prompted to update. I am trying to update to the most recent version of iPhoto but the update begins and reaches step 5 of 9 (98% complete) and never finishes the update. Advice? Thank you.

I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.
