Charged twice for one song?

I went to buy a song using iTunes, and after clicking 'Buy Song', I received a message about how the terms and conditions had changed. I agreed to that, and it then told me to try my download again, which I did, only to find out I'd been charged twice for one song!
Is there any way I can get that extra 79p back and solve this problem?

    I'm just guessing since you provide so little information about your situation, but look under the Store menu in iTunes for the "Check for available downloads" command and run that. You may find the tracks there to be downloaded.
    If not, and/or if you are certain you've been double-charged (and one charge wasn't the normal hold placed when you first enter a credit card), contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department from their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form, or an "Email Us" button) and explain the problem to them.

    They are two different albums/EPs, so yes you would be purchasing (and therefore be charged) for both.

    When i signed up to BT i had no idea what  lay ahead,i looked at the options they had to offer and went for the second one,
    £16-00 per month,that included the home hub 4 in the package,they had sent me the home hub 3,
    after seven phone calls to them they agreed that i should have received the hub 4 as advertised,
    they sent the new one out to me,then a few days later sent me a return delivery pack for the hub 3,
    all went fine until i looked at my account,they had charged me again for the new router,there was no mention of a
    delivery charge to be paid again,
    i am a new customer and i cant believe they have charged me twice for one router,they were at fault not me,
    any advice that would point me in the right direction would be very welcome,thanks, first post by the way.

    When you create an order with us on BestBuy.com, you should normally see an initial authorization when the order is submitted to ensure sufficient funds are in the account. Then, upon Store Pickup or when your item ships, that authorization will then become an actual charge. However, I understand there were some instances of customers sharing your situation. I am glad to hear that you were able to get this rectified in a timely manner with the support of your financial institution.

  • I'm being charged TWICE for one purchase, how can I get my money back for that second charge?

    I bought an album and two songs which added up to about $13 and I went to check my credit card account and saw that itunes is charging me twice for that same thing along with an extra $1 for something else. One of the transactions is on 11/05/11 while the other one is on 11/07/11 and I only bought the album and songs once and I haven't bought anything else since then. I emailed them about it and they think it's an unauthorized purchase when it isn't I know that I bought the songs but they're charging me twice for that one thing. I've called them and they all said that I have to go to the customer services and that's didn't help so what do I do to get my money back?
    This also happened before where they charged me twice but it was just 2 bucks so it was a big deal but this time it's almost $14 and I want that money back.

    Contact the iTunes Music Store customer support department through the form at the bottom of this web page and explain the problem to them. Assuming that it's an iTMS mistake and not that you mistakenly purchased the same song twice, they should then issue a credit to your account.
