Charged twice rung loads not sorted and more billi...

hi there im fairly new to this only about a month now but my first bill was taking from my bank earlier than i thought so was returned so rang next day and paid over phone then a few days later taking out of bank again!!! i have rang a number of times now and im getting no where so you have been paid twice needs sorting, then 2 days later today receive another bill for 44 pound?? i sighned up to the more access package which it clearly states  around 25 pound for the first 3 months so how do you get 44? even with line rental it would only be around 36 what?? please this needs sorting you have double charged me and now paying more than what was agreed    please can this be sorted on here as the last person i rang was quite rude in my opion maybe 25 pound wasnt alot to her but to us in the present climate is the difference in having central heating on or not(we have 2 babies) as this is the reason we left sky to save money we no longer have!!!!!!

Hi Nadine2009,
Thanks for posting. It sounds like you've possibly been billed for usage charges but I can check this for you. Drop me an email with your account details and a link to this page and I'll take a look.
Cheers

Apple is not here. Apple does not answer questions here. There are only volunteer users here.
The charge to your credit card takes place before you download the app.
If you are having problems downloading the apps that you bought, you will need to explain the issue in detail if you wish someone to help you.

You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

  • KDE starting but not showing (and more KDE errors)

    Hi!
Yesterday I had a problem with an upgrade and I found the problem was libdbusmenu.
The solution I foun on the internet was
sudo pacman -Rdd libdbusmenu && sudo pacman -Syu
    so I did it
The problem is that now, after rebooting I can't start KDE (or at least it doesn't appear):
    $ startkde
KDE seems to be already running on this display.
I can't start any KDE app, for example opening settings results in a window saying
System Settings was unable to find any views, and hence has nothing to display.
Also the keyboard layout has changed for example
Everytime I run something in terminal related with pacman or yaourt I get this error:
    missing 'libdbusmenu' dependency for 'lightread'
I've uninstalled lightread and the error does not appear any more but I'm still the same
Tried rebooting and starting fallback but still the same
    Any solution?
    Working on 3.14.1-1-ARCH
Any further information needed please, ask for it
I would be very pleased if you could help me to solve this as I don't have any idea how to proceed.
I tried installing again libdbusmenu from AUR but it doesn't exist now
    Thanks!

Sometimes it can be a problem with user settings, to test it just create a new user, login with it and try to start KDE.
It is few ways to start a desktop environment.
I am using few desktop managers and using a command line to start them depends on which I want to use. I don't use a GUI login managers.
    For KDE you can try
    killall startkd
    killall X
    startx /usr/bin/startkde
    For my openbox for example
    # For a normal start
    startx /usr/bin/openbox-session
    # For a failsafe start
    startx /usr/bin/openbox
Of course you can make aliases for them.
    I hope this might help.
It seems we're getting closer to the problem.
    Starting with
    sudo startx /usr/bin/startkde
makes KDE start correctly while starting with
    startx /usr/bin/startkde
makes it start the wrong way.
Could it be possibly be a configuration error right?
This is the output of my ~/.xsession-errors if it could help:

  • Save path not remembered and more

    Hello
Coming from PSE6 on mac, had to upgrade because of the lack of Canon D550 raw files support and went PC at the same time. 1st rant - no upgrade from 6 to 9?? Had to buy the damn app all over again?!
So now, it really annoys me no end that I have to specify the save path every time a save a foto. This wasn't always the case - as with normal apps running under windows, PS would remember where you last saved and keep that path until changed. I also find it very annoying to have to deseclect the organizer function each time. And while I'm at it...bridge for mac was so much easier to handle that the organizer. Why is it that foto software these days keeps using these organizer tools that more and more work like a mere preset catalogue for holiday, christmas and wedding pics?? I  don't need people recognition, a mother's day preset, etc etc.
Just let me browse my folders, and please generate thumbnails for Raw files IN the folder, not just the preview in the bottom!...it would make so much more sense just to have a browse function in the file menu. Why don't you just keep things simple and practical??

It’s usually due to incorrect permissions settings on the OS.
Open Windows Explorer and navigate to:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe
Locate the Photoshop Elements 9 folder (the one with the blue PSE logo)
Right click on that folder and choose Properties - then click the security tab and make the following changes:
    1. Click on the edit button to change permissions.
    2. Click Add and type the word “Everyone” in the Object names Box (without the quotation marks) and click OK.
    3. Under group/User Names select everyone so that it becomes highlighted.
    4. Put a check mark in the box against Allow Full Control and click Apply.
N.B. for Windows 64 bit navigate to Program Files (x86)
PSE should now remember you last settings rather than reverting to the default settings.

Where can this trensaction be done? I'm having a problem finding the location.

  • My charger keeps saying its not certified and it wont charge how can i fix this.?

    i have a iphone 5c

    Hi MNT,
When I plug my iPhone into my iPad charger, it oftentimes won't "recognize" the charger until I unplug it, and then slowly insert the connector to my phone. That would be all I could suggest. How long have you had your iPhone 5? If it is under a year old, then you can take the phone and the charger to your nearest Apple Store and show them the issue. If the charger is faulty, they will replace it for you.
    Cheers,

  • Firefox problems - Can't open from Downloads - Can't print - FF will not update and more and more...

I've been having several problems with Firefox, to the point that I almost can't use it anymore. In no particular order, they include:
    1. When I download something, 'Downloads' opens. When a d/l finishes I used to be able to run an install or open an image from there, but now I get this error message,
Windows cannot access the specified device, path of file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
...but I can go to my Downloads directory and run or open it from there.
    2. If I go to File > Print or File > Print Preview, I get this
    Printing Error:
"Before you can perform printer-related tasks such as page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer. Do you want to install a printer now?"
and if I click yes, i get this,
    "Operation could not be completed."
    3. Firefox will not update itself. I go to About, it downloads the new update, and I click the Apply Update button. Firefox closes, and nothing happens. A few minutes later I click to run it, and it opens with a 'Software Update' window that says,
    Update Failed
"The partial update could not be applied. Firefox will try again by downloading a complete Update"
    ...and that does not work.
I download the new version, and when trying to run it from Downloads, I get the error (as in #1 above):
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path of file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
When I go to the folder it's in and run it from there, it installs, but the problems persist.
    4. I go to Help|Troubleshooting Information, and clicking the Reset Firefox button only closes Firefox. Clicking the Show Folder button doesn't do anything.
    5. I used to be able to drag a url to the desktop, a folder or even a email, but now all I get the the O with a / through it.
    6. I also used to be able to, when I click Browse on a site to upload a jpg or a gif, I could right click the file and open it in a photo viewing program (Irfanview or Paint), and now I get
"Windows cannot access the specified drive, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
I've created a new profile and it makes no difference.
I've disabled all add-ons and it makes no difference (I have to disable them manually).
The problems are there for different user accounts in Windows.
I've uninstalled Firefox, and removed the profile - rebooted and reinstalled it, but the problems persist.
What more do I have to do more to completely uninstall it?
I've kinda saved myself by using Firefox Portable, which I'm running from it's own directory. It runs as it should, but I'd prefer not to have to use it.
If i can't fix it, I'd like to completely uninstall Firefox, and just install it new and have it work properly. I have no (or only occasional minor) problems with Firefox on other computers. This computer is Win XP, fully updated

The post I was responding to said,
"Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps. "
Somehow, I think that means Windows...
I've tried Firefox in Safe Mode - it makes no difference.

  • Messages are NOT threading and more

    HELP!!!
Thunderbird 31 Windows 8.1 which I migrated from XP
    a) I finally managed to migrate my TB profile to new computer. All messages and folders arrived. I erased about 3000 old messages. leaving about 1500.. Suddenly they all disappeared except for that days newest messages. Have been living with that, until I figure it out.
    b) Also, messages have not been threading. I downloaded Conversation add on. All the old messages came back ( all 4500, i.e. including the ones that I erased)
    Problems:
1/ The conversation add on changed the column titles, so I could not resort emails- for example by sender- in order to erase irrelevant emails again. With 4500 emails, going through 1 at a time is a problem. I preferred the simple threading that came in TB
2/ So, I uninstalled the add on, it reverted back, and all the old emails disappeared again.
What would make me really happy ;~)
    1. To have simple threaded messages like I had in my old computer a mere 2 weeks ago
    2. To have all my emails ( after thinning) back or at the least least I would be OK with even all the emails but with the simple headings so that I could at least redo the deleting.
I will honestly be forever and beyond grateful if someone could solve this

first, make sure your menu is turned on. Right click the toolbar and make sure there is a tick beside the menubar on the menu.
View menu > Folders > all
View menu > Sort by > Threaded
    File menu > Compact folders.

  • Intune: No licenses, user name not recognized and more errors

I've just activated our IUR from our Action Pack subscription.
So, I go an Intune product key for 5 users for 1 year and set it up in the Intune Portal.
    So far, so good.
My domain and users from Office365 have automatically transferred to Intune as well, so that's great.
However, it seems the licenses won't activate or something.
When I look at Subscription > Manage (or something like that, it's Dutch), it says 5 licenses until Aprl 2nd 2016.
However, in Subscription > Licenses it says I don't have any licenses.
Also, when going to any other portal (company or admin), it says 'User Name not recognized'.
    My main account is rowdy[A]noord-computers.nl
Is there something more I should do? Or do I just have to wait a few days?
    Kind regards,
    Rowdy

If you still see this problem, you should contact Microsoft support from the Intune portal.
They can help you fix this problem.

  • USB device not recognized, and more!

This morning when I tried to sync m y Z22, I got "USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED".  Connected the cable to every one of my USB ports, tried to sync each time but got the same message.
I shut down the PC, unplugged it, waited a few minutes, reconnected it, rebooted, and tried to sync again.  Still got "USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED".
Checked Palm Support, was advised to upgrade to the current version of the software (I was using V4-something).  Downloaded and installed the upgrade.  I got an error at the end of the installation that (what I assume was my old software) had been moved to Palm OS Incompatible Apps.
I tried to sync again, same problem.  Opened the (new) software & half my data is gone.
So, I have a few problems:
1 - How do I fix this &^#$!!! USB error? and,
2 - How do I roll-back the software to my previous version to access all my data?  In Add/Remove Programs, with Updates checked, the new software is the only one there.  (Because I couldn't sync, at least the data on my Z22 is still intact.)
Someone PLEASE help, my whole LIFE is in this thing!!!
    Thanks in advance,
    Fig

I would very much doubt that. The radition level inside a microwave is termendous. I am totally flabbergasted that there is much of it is still that much working.
