Charger doesn't always seem to connect to computer
Hi,
I am having problems with my charger for my MBP. The green/orange light on the charger cord where it connects to the computer doesn't always light up when it is plugged in. This also means that it isn't charging sometimes. I have to take it in and out a few times or push with slight force on it for the light to turn on and for the computer to charge. I have a case on my computer but this isn't the problem because I have tried plugging the charger in both ways/directions and both ways have this problem. This computer is only a year old so I am worried.

Hey everyone I need help asap. My charger all of the sudden stopped working, but it sometimes works for like 30 seconds. I will like have it plugged in and it doesn't register it's plugged in. This isnt't the first time this has happened either, and last time I had to get a new charger, and that's really inconvient. If someone can please help, or at least tell the cost of a mac book pro charger or if they'll replace it for free??? Thanks!
Cost of a new one is $80. Apple is not obligated to replace it for free, although they are usually very kind about replacements. However, if you say that you are having the same problem after already getting a new charger, I'd say it's a problem with your laptop's charger port, in which you may be entitled to have that replaced.

Why doesn't iPod respond when connected to computer?!
I've never had this problem before. All of a sudden, one day I connected my iPod to the computer (windows xp)- and big fat NOTHING happened. No connecting doo-deep like usual, nothing. I was shocked. Annoyed. And I ran off and connected it to my charger to check it still worked and confusingly (but luckily) it did. I looked at all the solutions to this on the apple website so far but none of them have helped. So unless someone can help me out then I guess I just have to assume that my precious iPod Touch is somehow screwed :'( ....... Hey, at least I can still get new apps and stuff. As for updating my picture library, well, let's just say that won't be happening.
p.s. my iPods about 1 and 1/2 years old (so my guarantee is soooo over) but apart from that lil' connection prob. it seems fine.Welcome to Apple Discussions
Don't run out and buy a new iPod just yet. It sounds like the critical piece of software that communicates with the iPod and iTunes. This software is known as the Apple Mobile Device Services. For troubleshooting help with this, see these two articles:

unlikely your charger is bad, rather it sounds as if your IO BOARD may be defective, perform a SMC reset and re-verify same.
SMC reset
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.
If same contact Apple for full in shop diagnostic and possible parts replacement. -
My iphone doesn't charger doesn't work all the time
I've had the iPhone 4s since about 3 months after it came out. Just recently, the charger doesn't always work when I go to charge my phone. Sometimes I blow on it and sometimes I have to plug and unplug it a few times before it starts to charge. Is this problem with my phone or is it the charger itself? Someone help! ... also, this has happened with my computer charger as well and I know it's not the outlet's I use because I've been to multiple locations where this problem has occured :/
I had a similar problem, and other answers allude to the kind of solution that works. What was rather annoying for me was that, by deleting a few apps, the iTunes display suggested I should have plenty of room. Furthermore, the error message included the bizarre phrase "the required space is 1.26MB but only 126MB is available": yes, more space available than needed by a factor of 100!
What seems to be the case is that the sync does not necessarily remove everything you specify for removal before copying things on that you want on the device. Therefore, even if you have enough space for what you intend to have on your device at the end of the sync, it won't help if the space is insufficient to copy at least some things on in the first place. So I actually solved the problem by deleting one of the apps on the iPhone, which was an app I was going to remove anyway. In general (on iOS 8), go to Settings | General | Usage | Storage then choose something you are happy to be without. -
My iPad mini doesn't seem to connect on the pc. Every time I try to connect it my iPad always say that it's not charging.. What should I do to be able to connect it. Please help as I'm a new user.thnx
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. Updated my ipod touch to ios6 now apps close without warning and seems really slow to repsond. Also doesn't always connect to the Wifi never had any problems before upgrade
Try a hard reboot (hold home and power buttons down at the same time until your iPod reboots). If that doesn't work, do a restore in iTunes and do not restore from backup. You wqill lose your game data and settings, but your iPod should run better and work properly.

No problems when i used with Snow Leopard. I upgraded: Now Kreonika is not happy. Not happy at all!In cases like this, if you have an Apple store near by, they will most likely install the OS free of charge for you, if you can't bring your Apple ID along to prove you've paid for it.

My wife and I both have iPod touch 5. I can plug hers ion and it connects and charges right away. I unplug hers and plug mine on and it doesn't always charge. In fact sometimes I have to press the actual connector up toward the screen before it will come on.

EUREKA, I found the solution to my problem in a Discussion initiated by gingertodd on July 27, 2011 entitled "Safari in Lion hijacked by malware." The solution was provided by Badunit who recommended force quitting Safari and then reopening it while holding down the Shift key. It worked instantly, and I subsequently was able to open Safari normally by just clicking on its icon in the Dock. THANK YOU BADUNIT!

Check your cable whether it is good. If it is use the wall plug to charge at least half an hour. See how it goes.
